American surgery case. He entered the V.A. Hospital in St. Louis, MO on 10/18/1990 with an open sore on his right ankle. He was operated on for clogged arteries from the chest to naval area, with follow-up surgery on October 22 and 29 to clear the arteries of the right leg.
