Biography
American baby born premature and by C-section, it weighed three pounds at delivery. The child was the first known case of a baby born to a mom who was comatose during conception and at birth. The mom had been injured in an accident when her car skidded on ice and crashed into a tree near Ithica, NY on 12/20/1985. Placed in a nursing home in Rochester, the baby's mom went into a coma in 2/1986.
While mom was in a vegetative state, she was raped by an unknown man in the nursing home. When her belly began to swell, mom was examined and found to be over four months pregnant. The family of the 29-year-old woman decided to continue the pregnancy and raise the baby. The child's mother went into labor about 4:00 AM, and the three pound infant was taken by C-section.
