French road and cross-country cyclist racer, he won a silver medal at the Summer Olympics (Beijing 2008). He fell in the Tour de France 2013, on July 17th in the morning, during his training. Although he had injuries on his right shoulder, he decided to start the stage in the afternoon but fell again... Then he could not go on (his collarbone was definately broken). He finished 2nd in the 2014 Tour de France.
