==Biography==
American economist, public adminstrator and CEO. O'Neill began his position as CEO of Aluminum Company of America in 1987. He is a college graduate with a BS in Economics and MPA degree in Public Administration and keeps active with his connections in Washington, D.C. He was Treasurer under George W. Bush but resigned under pressure in the midst of a media frenzy. In January 2004, Wall Street Journal reporter Ron Suskind released his book, "The Price of Loyalty," which relies heavily on interviews with and documents submitted by Paul O’Neill, the original Secretary of the Treasurer under George W. Bush. O’Neill was then interviewed by Leslie Stahl on the January 11, 2004 program of "60 Minutes." In the book and during the interview O’Neill revealed that a regime change in Iraq had been under discussion almost from the beginning of the administration and well before the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Dividing up rights to the oil had been under discussion as well. In the same interview, in which he gave an unflattering description of Bush’s management style and of the administration, O’Neill expressed surprise that his actions would anger his former colleagues in the White House. The next day, in an interview with Katie Couric, O’Neill expressed regret over some of his characterizations and said he would vote for Bush again.
