Biography
German equestrian and Olympic champion. He won Olympic medals at four different Olympics, in 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1972.
He was also the founder and owner of the German mail order company Neckermann AG in 1938. The company got into trouble in the 1970ies and was sold to Karstadt in 1976.
Neckermann died on 13 January 1992 from lung cancer.
