Italian novelist and journalist who, with Bargellini and Betocchi , was a member of the Catholic Frontespizio group from its inception. In his fiction he wrote mostly about daily life in his native Mugello, as in his best-known novel, Diario di un parroco di campagna (1942).
He died 24 November 1975.
