Biography
Scottish playwright, naval historian, librarian, editor and TV personality. A vigorous presenter of justice, Kennedy hosted "This Week," 1958-1960 and "Did You See?" for eight years. From librarian and later editor of the BBC, he has been an ITN newscaster 1956-1958, contested a by-election in 1958 and the general election in 1959. From there Kennedy was seen as a presenter on BBC's "Panaroma," 1960-1963.
Kennedy was educated at Oxford and married in 1950.
