American athlete, a football wide receiver for the Houston Oilers, Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams for 14 seasons. Slighter in body than most professional football players, his speed and quick moves helped elevate him to become one of the pro sport's best receivers. He began his career in 1979 with the Los Angeles Rams. After his retirement from the game he worked as an artist.
