Source Notes

Sy Scholfield quotes Ascendant Sign from radio astrologer Ilan Pecker as quoted in a newspaper article ("PICK A DATE, ANY DATE," by Mira Helet [Shelley Goldman], Danny Ben-Tal & Helen Kaye, Jerusalem Post, 19 May 1989, p. 8): "The radio astrologer went on to develop this comparison between the State of Israel and the Tauran character while interviewing Minister without Portfolio Mordecai 'Motta' Gur. The former chief of staff was born under the sign of Taurus with Leo rising - which is exactly the same alignment as on May 14, 1948."
