Biography

Italian soccer/football player and team manager.

He played with Alessandria (1923–1925), FBC Internaples (1925–1926), Alessandria (1926–1930), Juventus (1930–1935, 1941–1942), Ambrosiana/Inter (1935–1940), and Bologna (1940–1941). He also played with the Italian national team (1930-1938), winning the FIFA Cup in 1934 and 1938.

He managed Ambrosiana/Inter (1942–1945), Brescia (1945), Cantonal Neuchâtel (1946–1948), Prato (1948–1950), Padova (1951), and the Italian national team (1958–1959, 1960-1962).

He died in Milan, Italy on 2 December 1982.
