Biography

International dirigible named the Hindenburg exploded upon landing at Lakehurst, NJ. The newsreel coverage caught the horrifying collapse of the dirigible, flames shooting out as bodies tumbled to the ground. The great egg-shaped ship had racked up millions of kilometers of uneventful flight before its dramatic exit.
