de Graaf TEXT-PROJECT (Netherlands) |

Margriet de Graaf (October 13th, 1956) has had a passion for astrology since
1980 and "translated" piles of charts for friends and clients ever since. The
minute she was connected to the Internet - some twelve odd years ago - she
discovered Astrodienst and her astrology world expanded. She loves the English
language and secretly believes it must have something to do with past lives.
In her younger restless years her career made some fickle changes, from owning
a coffee shop (a decent one, far from Amsterdam) to the music bizz as a
background singer and songwriter and being a PR manager for a rock venue.
After working as an assistant producer for a TV & film production company, and
translating some episodes for the first famous Dutch soap series, her interest
in screenwriting developed. Long story short; Margriet tries to combine people
with creative endeavours, and lately writing and translating astrology topics
seems the ideal mix. Translating interesting work of other people is very
rewarding. She's into all kinds of esoteric or Buddhist texts, and whatever
triggers her imagination. In an attempt to focus (Saturn transit through X th
house) she started her own text bureau
http://www.text-project.nl and
in September 2005 she launched her own astrology web store
http://www.astrovista.nl.

| Jorinde
Brokke (France) |
 |
Jorinde
was born (31/05/56) and grew up in the Netherlands; since 1975 she
has
lived – except for some periods of travelling and studying – in
a wonderful hamlet in a French mountain area. She felt very early
that an infinite variety of interpretations of the world and life
were possible, and searching for elementary connections between different
perspectives has always fascinated her. Whether or not by means of
formal training, she studied a diversity of subjects (astronomy,
astrology, psychology, Buddhism, ecology, economy, politics, literature…).
When near thirty, she began a study (western) philosophy, in Montpellier,
and this not only gave her the feeling of finally being "at
home" in a world of thinking, but also, thanks to the structured,
logical approach, gave her a better hold on knowledge and experiences
gained earlier. To make a living (as a single mother of 3 children,
one of them still at home), she followed a secretarial training course
(French and English), and subsequently started translating (French
and English into Dutch), a profession she has practised (again) full
time since 2002.

De Vos (Belgium) |

Frederik De Vos (April 10, 1980) was born in Peru and
lived in Gabon, Belgium and Japan (just one year). He is married to a Filipina
and now lives in Leuven (Belgium). At a young age, he liked to write stories
and he lived in fantasy worlds. Later he realized the real world is even
more amazing than fantasy. Even though he is an engineer by formation, he
keeps his interests in less tangible matters alive. He will always be fascinated
by the connections between diverse topics and he will always be in search
for a deeper knowledge of the inner and outer worlds and how they relate.
Frederik also translates technical texts professionally.
