Seminar-Programm

Saturday/Sunday 17/18 June 1995
Liz Greene, England: Male and Female in the Birth Chart

This weekend's seminar will explore the balance and interrelationship of masculine and feminine in terms of signs, planets and the individual birth chart. Psychological issues involving sexuality, social conditioning and parental patterns will also be examined in the context of astrological configurations.

Saturday/Sunday 16/17 September 1995
Charles Harvey, England: Polarities, Opposites, Tensions and Resolutions in the Astrological Chart

We exist poised "between the gods and the beasts", between consciousness and unconsciousness, between society and self, between optimism and pessimism, love and hate, triumph and tragedy and many other contradictions. Using example charts and the charts of students, we will explore the dynamics of some of the polarities within the birth chart and the human condition. We will examine how these opposites express in the world and look at ways in which we can find a creative resolution and reconciliation for our own dilemmas and paradoxes.

Charles has been a consultant astrologer since 1966 and is one of the world's leading experts in astrology. He has been president of the Astrological Association of Great Britain since 1973. Since 1992 he has been Co-Director of the Centre for Psychological Astrology, London, together with Liz Greene. He is especially interested in the application of astrology to world affairs and economics. Among his publications are the well-known books Mundane Astrology and Working with Astrology (both available in German). Charles is able to understand German.

Saturday/Sunday 21/22 October 1995
Liz Greene, England: Pluto in Sagittarius: Fear, Fundamentalism and the Changing Face of God

Using the transit of Pluto into Sagittarius as a basis, this weekend's seminar will explore the shifts and changes occurring in the religious and spiritual spheres, in relation to both the individual and the collective. Aspects of Pluto's transits in individual charts will be examined, as well as a broader historical context and the present trends now revealing themselves in esoteric and exoteric religious paths. The psychology of fundamentalism, relevant to individuals as well as groups, will be thoroughly examined. Saturday 4 November 1995 Charles Harvey, England: Is Your Mars Angry or Depressed? Understanding Mars and how to Work with it in the Birth Chart

Assert yourself or die! Mars is essential for our physical survival, health and achievement. When inadequately expressed, it can lead to our selling ourselves short, to depression and self-sabotage. When out of control, Mars can produce violence, tyranny and destruction. Using example charts and the charts of students we will examine the function and pathology of Mars, and how we can work with it and transmute its energy for the benefit of ourselves and others.

Seminars between Oct. 1985 and May 1995 are not listed.
