Le conferenze in questo volume sono parte di una serie di lezioni trascritte e adattate per la pubblicazione dalla CPA Press. Sebbene parte del materiale sia stato modificato a beneficio della chiarezza o a protezione della privacy degli studenti che hanno offerto informazioni personali durante i seminari, le trascrizioni hanno lo scopo di riprodurre fedelmente non solo il materiale astrologico e psicologico discusso nelle lezioni, ma anche l'atmosfera del gruppo.

Dall'inizio dell'esperienza del CPA, molte persone, inclusi studenti di astrologia che vivono all'estero, hanno richiesto ripetutamente le trascrizioni dei seminari. Nell'autunno del 1995, Liz Greene, Charles Harvey e Juliet Sherman-Burke decisero di lanciare la CPA Press, al fine di rendere disponibile alla comunità astrologica materiale che altrimenti sarebbe stato limitato solamente ai partecipanti ai seminari, e avrebbe potuto non essere mai incluso dai singoli tutor nelle loro future opere scritte. A causa della struttura del programma del CPA, la maggior parte dei seminari sono presentazioni uniche che non è probabile vengano ripetute, e molta ricerca accurata e investigazione astrologica importante potrebbe altrimenti andare persa. I volumi nella serie dei seminari CPA sono diretti a studenti do astrologia seri che vogliano sviluppare una maggiore conoscenza dei legami tra astrologia e psicologia al fine di comprendere sia l'oroscopo che l'essere umano ad un livello più profondo e approfondito.
