Okay. I am by no means an expert in celestial mechanics but my understanding
is the precesion of the Equinox results from the wobble in the earth's axis.
If you played with a top as a kid you would have noticed that the top spins
about an axis but that axis is not always stable. It is not only tilted but
the axis of the top's rotation itself rotates and traces out an oval. A
complete rotation of the top's axis takes 24,000 years, which is 2000 years
per sign. That is the analog to the precession of the equinox. The degree
in the zodiacal circle toward which the axis of the spinning earth points is
moving backwards from early Pisces into late Aquarius thus the beginning of
the Aquarian age. It's not related to the earth's orbit which describes the
earth's rotation about the Sun.

so then i have a new question:
about the precession of the equinoxes:
if the axe of the earth changes, then the orbit must change too! if not the
equinoxe is not anymore when the axe is parallell to the orbit!
so it means that the orbit stays so the longest distance to the sun is at the
solstice of summer when the axe is in directio of the sun !!!
can you confirm me this?

I really think your site is very good. I just can think of one suggetiion
which can make it even more perfect. My suggestion is:
Some of the places are not there in your database, so for such places you
should allow temporary entry of longitude and lattitude so that the
calculation and forecast can be more correct.

ok i think i got it!
it must be because the orbit is not circular but elliptic.
but anyway why would we care about that and not think just about seasons
(tropical astro). well the 2 are possible because it's also right to imagine
that we devide the universe in 12 parts and if the earth goes faster through
some of these 12 segments than others then to bad for the seasons...!
so then the sign libra doesnt start at the equinoxe of autumn (21st
september)
NO! i've found out! the orbit is elliptic and the equinoxe of autumn is not
the 21st but the 23rd of september!
i've understand it all!
anyway: could it be possible that the signs are all of the same length and so
libra would start the 20th of september? mmh! I guess not. the libra should
start when the axe of the earth is parallell to its orbit (eqinoxe of autumn)
and then the people born the 21 or 22 of september are definitely virgo and
not libra? as i don't have that experience i ask this to you: from your
experience the people born a 21 or 22 of sepetember definitely act like
virgos ?
thanx!

bonjour alois
j'ai une question que je ne sais pas à qui d'autre poser.
il s'agit de la durée des signes
logiquement, sachant que l'astrologie sidérale ne marche pas, on devrait
avoir une durée des signes équivalente pour tous les signes. 365,25 jours /
12 = 30j 10h 30mn

Dear Alois,
Could you explain how the lunar return works in the Extended Forecast? Is it
for the month or the year, and how is it calculated? I input the New Moon
April 27, but the printout showed March 31 (when TR Moon was at the exact
degree of NT Moon). How is it used? Are there significant times when the
lunar return is more important than at other times, for example in a life
cycle, as opposed to the time each month when the Moon returns to its natal
position?
Thanks,

Thanks Kent, I agree, the shadow (collectively and individually) desperately
needs to be brought into the light of consciousness in order for healing to
occur. I am grateful that Liz is able to help usher in this change through
her interpretations of the cosmic weather. Its just that, from my
perspective, there is even more juice available, once the shadow has cleared
and the light is integrated, or is integrating, all the way through. I
appreciate your point though. best wishes, jewel

Jewel - I’ve always thought Liz Greene takes primarily a psychological
approach to astrology. After all she is a Jungian therapist. Perhaps you
were unaware of that when you sent for your forecast but if you read any one
of her books, and they are numerous, it will become obvious. I for one am
thankful that Liz takes this approach. I think she has found a way to
integrate astrology and Jungian psychological principals that enhances both
studies. So many live unconsciously without giving any credence to the
hidden forces below which makes those forces dangerous. We see the results
of that unconsciousness all about us in the world in both global and personal
levels. The acting out of genocide in Germany, Rwanda, former Yugoslavia and
Kosovo and now Darfur are but one example of the dangers of ignoring the
power of the unconscious on a global level. You also see the effects of
ignoring those forces in our daily lives in the sorry state of affairs in
relationships between human beings. The psychological and spiritual
suffering and the prevalence toward depression is a result of our inability
to bring these unconscious forces into the light and deal with them. We lock
them away like a deformed child that we are ashamed to let the neighbors
see. We won't even let ourselves see the darkness that exists in our
dungeons. Psychology is perhaps the most important and relevant
enlightening idea in the late 19th and 20th century. If we could just begin
to acknowledge the unconscious and find a way to relate to it perhaps we
could find better ways of relating to each other.

Hi, Thank you for sending my yearly transits interpreted by Liz Greene.
Hmmm.... Yes, her perspective is psychological, but it is also in my
opinion, limited.
I am more interested in the evolution of the Soul and that is why I find
greater resonance in the writings of esoteric astrologers. Liz feels like
she has a fabulous understanding of Saturn ( I have read her books on the
subject) but perhaps she hasn't personally transcended aspects of this
so-called physical reality, and therefore can't honour the reality of
mysticism. In other words, her perpective of Neptune and Chiron are not (in
my opinion) integrated or balanced.
The forecast will still be interesting for me, but I have to discern a lot in
the reading of it. Maybe it would be possible one day to send a different
interpretation, based on the evolutionary stage of the person inquiring? But
how would you know? It would be nearly impossible to gauge....
Still, thanks ~ I do appreciate the beautiful presentation and all the info
in it... but I also see it as subject to the limitations of the psychological
mind-set. In my humble opinion, humanity's collective consciousness is in
the very midst of growing well beyond these constraints. I celebrate this
shift and know it very clearly in my self. Saturn is still my buddy in this
very material imperfect world, I am not fighting it, but I am living the
deeper Truth of Universal Unconditional Love right here within it. I have
been living in this state for the better part of 10 years and I am not
deluding myself. I left psychology behind in the mid nineties when it was
clear that it couldn't function in the realms of numinousity.
It seems that Liz, Robert Hand too for that matter, are not yet aligned in
their hearts with the Heart of All That Is.... or whatever words we might use
to attempt to convery the ineffable divine Reality that pervades all this
illusion. Not a criticism just my humble opinion. I certainly welcome your
response. Thanks! Best wishes, jewel

When looking at relationship charts, especially synastry: given that planets
that are touched (one chart to another) necessarily 'touch back' with the
same aspect, why does it so often happen in relationships that one person is
more attracted, or interested, than the other? What are some reliable

Liebes Astro-Team,
Version stimmt denn nun?
Über eine Antwort würde ich mich sehr freuen und verbleibe mit freundlichen

I have a questions for you. My personal portrait looks pretty good except for
Saturn in the second house. Still, thankfully, there are some things you say

Does this refer to market trading in stocks, bonds, commodities, etc.?
Also, is there anything else I can focus on to alleviate the burden of Saturn

also calculate the data for the third object called LILITH, the one the book
'lilith – der geheimnisvolle planet by heidi wolfart-zundel und guenther

2. is there any chance to get CHIRON data for BC dates?

I'm working on a program using the sweph dlls. Everything is humming along
nicely.
Until I get to moon aspect exact time.
I'm looking at free chart extended selection with transits. The transiting
moon at 0:00 UT is 22 scorpio 22. The natal jupiter is at 28 cancer 59 51.
Using a rough rule of thumb of .5 degrees per hour for the moon I see this as
exact at approximately 7:02 UT.
Now I look at the free daily horoscope and it shows Moon Trine Jupiter, exact
at 08:27. Even with a calculator taking calculations to 6 decimal places I
can't agree with that. I'm assuming but don't know that the time is local
time for the central time zone in the US which is 6 hours less than UT.
Any idea why I'm getting this result. Or why you get your results?
Thanks for your help.
PS
With the calculator I'm taking the moon at 0 UT today and the moon at 0 UT
tomorrow and dividing the difference by 24. Then I take the difference
between the moons position and jupiters position and multiply by hourly moon
change.
This gives me 12:24 UT as exact. The :24 is close to :27 but neither 12: or
6: makes any sense.
The moon square pluto on the same day comes by my calculations to 7:43 and by
yours to 3:44 Again an acceptable minute agreement but where does the hour
come from?

Hi.
I have two questions for you one is about daylight savings time and the other
concerns getting an Astrocartography reading.
1.) I highly suspect that the time written on my birth certificte did not
reflect the real time and is an hour too late. How likely is this to be. I
was born in 1963 in the San Diego area. I really seem to exhibit more of a
Leo nature than a Virgo nature, even though I do have a stellium in the first
house.
2.) I didn't see Astrocartography offered for charts for sale. Do you do
them? If not, can you recommend someone outstanding ?

Alois adds: I have never heard of any practice in California to record
birth times with any other concept than the legal time of the moment, i.e.
with the time as read off a wall clock or correctly set wrist watch.
Of course, human errors with data can happen, and any registered birth
time is only as exact as the person who reported it gave it to the registry.
Personally, I mistrust subjective statements like 'I must be a leo' when there
is data which say different. But I do not know you.
I do not understand the second question. You mean an astrocartography reading?
Aside from the free 'Astroclick Travel' we currently have no such report.
We never announce projects which are still under development - anything
can happen to them along the way. I also cannot make a recommendation for
someone to read it for you. My only experience in having an ACG reading
was with Jim Lewis, he did great with it, but you come too late for that.
I have a few questions. I just recently purchased 2 reports from your site,
one being the psychological horoscope for myself and the other the
relationship report for my boyfriend and I. After reading the report for
myself I've been wondering, since I was adopted at two and a half does that
make any difference in the effect of the aspects on my psyche? Do they become
different or altered somehow? Because I was actually somewhat fortunate
enough to know my real parents and there background. I see the traits it
describes of my 'real' parents and the effects of they would have on me as
fitting to a t, but not so much with my adoptive parents. Again, does this
make a difference on the effects it has had on me, or maybe lessen some of
the aspects, both hard and easy ones? I have never really questioned this as
much before now until after reading such and in depth report.
I also want to purchase a psychological report for my boyfriend and was
wondering if you had any deals going on buy 2 get one half off.
The reports were the best I have ever read anywhere, more in depth than
any other report or book out there. I will most likely never buy a report
from another site again after reading mine :)
Thanks

In response to Karine's input below which said: I was very disapointed by a
specific study i've ordered to liz green, it is inpersonal, you can see that
it is a pure computer work , no synthetical at all, very cold.
I strongly disagree. From this site and another liscensed supplier of Alois'
expert system in USA I've ordered 2 psychological, 2 children, and 1
relationship horoscope. All of them, in my opinion are highly synthesized in
that the expert system considers prior factors, (e.g., element balance, ego
and shadow, strengths and weaknesses) when interpreting the meaning of the
subsequent significant aspects in the chart. The expert system seeks to put
all the pieces of your chart together into a coherent story. The Children's
horoscope is especially sweet and Liz' love and support for the young
developing psyche is apparent. I found all 5 horoscopes extremely personal
and relevant. In my opinion, there is not a finer astrologer working in the
world today than Liz Greene. Not only is she a prolific and excellent
lecturer, but under her leadership and the CPA, the entire field of
psychological astrology has been made accessible to anyone interested.
Alois' expert system makes Liz Greene's ideas and interpretations available
to anyone in the world for a very modest price.
Altogether this team of people at CPA and Astrodienst provides the most
meaningful access to the inner workings of the psyche through the chart that
I can imagine and over the years, I've read extensively authors like Marc
Edmund Jones, Dane Rudhrar, Grant Lewi, March and McEvers. If you are
interested in your chart, I urge all of you to spend the modest amount and
send away for one of these horoscopes. It is a small price to pay to know
thyself.
