I recant further still, as it seems that the Sun is always in the 10th House
at noon. Didn't realize that aspect I suppose.

I recant my earlier remark about celebrities and the 10th House sun somewhat
- I have now seen that the Sun's House is as fickle and changing on a daily
basis as ascendants. It is interesting though, that all the celebrities I've
looked up have a 10th House sun at noon their days of birth, although at
their particular birth times there is certainly great variation.

Thank you so much for the Advent Calendar feature on your web site. It was
great fun and very inspirational to be able to check each day and find the
surprise. I have loved advent calendars since I was young and your gift
brought back the joy of discovering the special gift each day brings before
Christmas.
Take care in gratitude, :o)

Thank you for the beautiful gift you have given us in the form of the Advent

I have something to point out concerning the extreme accuracy of the
astrology here: I have not looked up a single celebrity (out of around 30)
who does not have the Sun in their 10th House - the house of prestige and
honor in adult life - or immediately surrounding it, in 9 and 11, which are
rarer. From Einstein, to all of the Beatles, to the entire cast of That 70's
Show, all of them have the Sun in the 10th House. It's so accurate it's
ridiculous, and is an extreme statistical confirmation of astrology, if it
hasn't been noticed. I'm wondering if you can give any refreshing examples
of celebrities who do not have the Sun in the 10th House (or immediately
surrounding it in 9 and 11).

I have been using your extended chart generation for years now and love
it...but I think I have found a glitch. When I create Synastry charts it
seems that sextiles from Venus are never indicated. A 15degree Aries Venus
sextiling a 18degree Aquarius Mars does not show up/is not indicated. Please

I recently purchased World of Wisdom software and am incredibly disappointed
in the program. Following are my issues:
1. The degrees of the sign are not printed on the cusps of the wheel - who
designed this? Perhaps the user is able to affix the degrees on the cusps
but I'm unable to navigate the 'HELP' function to do this.
2. I cannot compare a natal chart to the current transits, that is, with the
natal chart in the center and the transits in an outer ring. (or compare a
progressed chart to the natal information). I bought this software program
because I believe it was one of the functions.
3. Support is listed as Tony Duncan with an international phone number (!)
and he's only available evenings and weekends (totally poor and unacceptable
support).
I purchased WOW from Astrodienst as I'm a long-time customer and thought I
would be getting a quality astrological software program. I am totally and
completed unhappy with this product.

I used your www.astro.com in my research,thanks!! (I improve
my public letter to you of Dec.23,2005).I haved found that in the year 7 BC
(= - 6) on Saturday December 3 retrogressive Gregorian ,(or Dec. 5 Julian
Calender) there was a conjunction by ecliptic longitude of Jupiter and Saturn
at 16.18 hours BMT(=Bethlehem Mean Time). Both planets were almost
absolutely exactly at the middle of Pisces (for accuracy: at
15 degrees,33 minutes,42 seconds Pisces,both planets),
which astologically is the Zodiac Sign of the Jews.Hence the
astrologers of that time interpreted this as a sign that the
powerful King of Israel will be born (Messiah) and it was said
that even astrologers outside Israel had the same opinion,
e.g. the Persian astrologers. This is the base of the Star of Bethlehem
story.
More astrodata on this: On Friday November 18 Retrogressive
Gregorian (or Nov.20 Julian) of the same year at 8.13 a.m.
BMT Saturn was at its nearest to the middle of Pisces,
just 20 arc minutes,32 arc seconds after it.,and it was the
end of Saturn's retrograding motion, Jupiter was then just 16
arc minutes and 9 arc seconds before the middle of Pisces. The end of the
retrograding motion of Jupiter was a
little earlier,on Thursday Nov.10 retrogressive Gregorian (Nov.12 Julian) of
the same year at 2.31 a.m.BMT and just 23 arc minutes and 12 arc seconds
before the middle of Pisces, and Saturn was then just 24 arc minutes and 19
arc seconds after the middle of Pisces. On Friday Nov.25
Retrogressive Gregorian (or Nov 27 Julian) of the same year
at 1.41 a.m. BMT Jupiter was exactly at the middle of
Pisces15degrees 00 minutes,00 seconds Pisces.Saturn was
then just 23minutes,06 seconds after it .As one can
realize, this conjuntion of Jupiter -Saturn not only was almost
absolutely exactly at the middle of Pisces ,but also the 2
planets during the period from Nov.10 to Nov 18 of that year retrogressive
Gregorian (Nov 12 to Nov 20 Julian) were heading to the middle of Pisces by
symmetrical,
opposite direction moving, being very neaar to the middle of
Pisces ,as mentioned above. And as if this was not enough,
there were two more conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn in
the same year: on Friday 27 May retrogressive Gregorian
(29 Julian) at 11.01 BMT,at 20 degrees 55 minutes 53 seconds
of Pisces again, and on Thursday 29 Sept. retrogressive
Gregorian (1 Oct. Julian) at 8.30 a.m. BMT,at 17 degrees,
24 minutes 49 seconds also once more of Pisces.
All these extremely rare and impressive astronomical data
triggered at that time the astrological interpretation mentioned
above, and are the base of the Star of Bethlehem Story.

When I do my charts with astro.com, the timezones are seemingly incorrect. I
may be wrong here too but...
Summertime changes last Sunday in October and last Sunday in March.
Daylight Saving Time changes first Sunday of November, First Sunday of
April.
Timezones and DST/Summertime are seperate things. Timezones never change.
If I plot a chart for the 29th of October 1977, which is a saturday, it shows
the time difference as -5h. If I plot the chart for the 30th, it shows a
diff of -6 hours. This is incorrect. Greenwich observes summertime, which
means prior to the last Sunday in October, they are the same as DST's offset.
GMT-6 will still be 6 hours behind. After the last Sunday in October, but
before the first Sunday of November, they are one hour behind DST, so GMT-6
will be 5 hours behind. After the first Sunday of November, they have the
same offset again.
Daniel W a r d Kozani, Greece --- Saturday, December 24, 2005 at 08:58 Universal Time
Alois adds: I am afraid that I have to contradict you. You seem a bit confused
about the concepts of Universal time (aka Greenwich Mean Time), time zones
and daylight saving time or summer time.
You don't mention which city you refer to with your example, so I cannot
answer to that in particular.
But you seem to be confusing 'Greenwich Mean Time', correctly named now
'Universal Time', with the legal time used in England.
In summer, Great Britain uses summer time, and is offset from Universal time
by one hour towards the east. The fact that the United Kingdom uses DST, however, does
not affect UT/GMT itself. The Earth does not make a rotational jump by 15
degrees, only because the British switch to DST or back.
All timezone definitions are NOT defined as a difference to British legal
time, but to the astronomically defined Universal Time, which one used to be
the astronomical time observed in the royal observatory at Greenwich. Nowadays
UT is defined by atomic clocks, not by astronomical oberservations, but still
kepts in close accordance with GMT. Whatever the British goverment decides
about how the clocks should be set in the country, it will NOT affect GMT.
Finally,
This is the site where i dream of.
Now i can compleet my astrological stydies, thiw makes my life easy.
Mani thanks for this,

To Meta Hoepfner, December 7: That's right, Mars is in Taurus for months and
months this year--6 or 8 months, but my ephemeris is not next to me to check.
Mars has a two-year cycle, so it stays in one sign for an average of two
months, but that's only an average. It changes speeds and moves retrograde
sometimes. It has just been retrograde and is now moving forward. I think it
will change signs in February.

For madeqs, December 17: Regarding Saturn opposite Sun: Saturn has a cycle of
about about 29 years, and so it takes 29 years to get back to any one
particular spot in the zodiac. It is a planet that generates serious,
cautious or organizational feelings and actions. The Sun represents your ego
or self. An opposition usually represents some kind of difficulty or
challenge. Everyone goes through these phases, so it's not something
particular to you, except in timing. The meaning could never be that you've
had a low for 29 years, except that how you feel about yourself and your
negative feelings about yourself might be highlighted at this time. You tend
to review the course of your life, with the negative somewhat heightened.
Rather than brood, it would be better to clean your desk or closets, or
organize yourself in a better way.

Negative aspect: A very strong passion but destructive, to be avoided if at
all possible. Jealousy, possessiveness, and resentment are very possible. If
the relationship ends, it is difficult to remain friends, as one person feels
burned.

I wonder if there is anyone who can help me to figure out what this means--Is
it the planets that have influenced low in twentynine years and now during a

years have been low...(which is in fact the case)?

Hello! I visit your site since many years and I consider it the most
professional, congratulations!
Nevertheless, I would like to know more about the nine persona chart, what is
the exact meaning of each one. I tried to gather more information about this
but I couldn't find enough.
The second topic I'm interested in is horary astrology, but also on this
subject I couldn't find enough explanations.
Could you please give me a helping hand?
Thanks, and best regards!

O segundo planeta qual seria?
do analisado.
vem inovar a teoria astrológica.

Mr.Ms.
A new teory.
A study on the Planetarium-dominant hierarchy Subdominante and Anchor.
In my astrological researches arrived to conclusion that should define the
planetarium hierarchy for of the speed and your consequence route of the
planets in the astral map during the progression in the ephemeris.
That being the case the planet that after the Moon has in an average life a
larger runninged through route will be Subdominante who, it will drive the
map close to Moon.
regarding the anchor will be the smaller route planet.
Like example have Neil's Map Armstrong, who has a Subdominante in the Sun and
an anchor in Saturn as it demonstrates the table below.
I believe that this discovered comes to add a new towards Astrology.
Moon its the Dominant.
The fastest planet after the Moon is the Subdominant.
The last is the Anchor.
Exemplo/ Ex.
Neil A. Armstrong 1° Man in the Moon.
Planet------------------course-----------------------Now in 2005 live.
Sun 12°04 lion----------73°03 subdominante( SUBd)--25°07 lib
Mercury 1°5 virg-------40°41-------------------------2°30 lib
Vênus 24°38 virg-------69°17------------------------ 3°55 sag
Mars 14°52 gemeos----44°28-----------------------29°20 ca
Júp8°42 cancer---------11°11------------------------9°52ca
Saturn 6°15capr---------0°,3 ancora ( Anchor)----- 6°30 capr
Uran 15°17 áries r--------2°23----------------------12°54 r arie
Netuno 2°31 virg---------2°31------- ----------------5°05 virg
Plutão 19°47 can---------1°05-----------------------20°52 canc
The hierarquie is: A hierarquia total é:
1°Moon
2°Sun subdominant.
3°Venus.
4°Mars
5°Mercury
6°Jupiter
7°Netuno
8°Uran
9°Plutão
Saturn the ânchor.
The foundation of this theory this in which, how much larger the course more
many aspects with other planets in the map and with your points, thence
larger influences in the happenings.

Friends,
I read your article Astrological Chart Rectification by Richard Vetter hoping
to find some useful information for a friend who was born in a hospital where
the birth record does not include the time and this article was not helpful.
You would be better served to give practical information rather than a
diatribe.
Thanks for your excellent work.

Hello Alois and Team Astrodienst!
I see that I am in for another treat with the Advent Calendar - have to and
will discipline myself so that I look daily - it will give me a little more
time to think, reflect ,cogitate, meditate (and all those good words) on your
carefully chosen and very beautiful daily quotations, poetry and sayings.
What a really nice lead up to my Christmas day! Thank you so very much. What
a privilege it is to be able to access your work so easily. May you and yours
have a very fine Festive season and may each of you always have enough.
Greetings from Celeste

I know that this probably adds another level of complexity to what is already
a very complicated computer program, but it would be really great if you
could post an interpretation for planetary retrogrades, especially Mercury
retrogrades. If nothing else, it would be nice if you posted a general
interpretation for Mercury retrogrades (e.g. Mercury retrograde from 10
degrees Sag to 24 degrees Scorpio).
Thanks for all your great work. You all do an excellent job!

Will you please explain to me the psychological and especially spiritual
meaning of the synastry, composite and davison relationship charts and the
differences between them?
