Curious why occasionally a significant transit is not listed as the primary
one for the day. For example the moon would be considered relatively weak in
it's effects, yet it may be the main reading while a Sun or Mercury transit,
happening the same day, is listed below and not described. I would think you
computer would automatically list one of them first, with an explanation, and
defer the moon.

always the 'most important' theme would be shown, then the same text would have
to appear for many days. This is not what one expects of a 'daily horoscope'.

There appears to be a problem with the horoscope calculation program when
dealing with births in Ontario, Canada, prior to 1969. It determines that
summer births (for example, August 16, 1971 in Barrie, ON) was Eastern
Standard Time (GMT offset of 5:00) when in fact they were Daylight Savings
Time (4:00 offset). This can be circumvented by selecting Atlantic Standard
Time manually.

I'm finding myself annoyed that so often the daily horoscope reading says,
Weak, transcient effect. It seems that if an efffect is weak and transcient,
why offer it at all? It would seem to be most helpful to be given the
effects with greatest influence for that day. But perhaps I don't understand
the overall process.

To Eve Josefsberg,
I was checking your birth data and the transits and I think that you will
experience Sun Sq Pluto transit until 2006. If you go to Extended charts and
you click on your data and the type of the chart is: natal progressions
transits then you will see the chart and in the additional tables you are
able to read the aspect the natal sun has to transiting Pluto. Now it is
quite exact (0 degree22) and it will be 3 degrees apart in March 2006 and
again 1 degree apart in November 2006. So I think that you will experience it
a little while more. Note that Pluto is moving VERY slowly and the impact
depends on the closeness of the aspect. Think about it - what does it mean to
you? I was impressed so much that you use to count the months till the end of
a certain transit - I do the same! But - we should not count the monts till
the end, we should expose us to the transit and think about the meaning for
us.

Mean Node vs. True in Transits
Which is more reliable of the two in doing transit interpretations? These 2
are currently conjunct my natal Jupiter, but the Mean Node seems more
accurate in predicting the important event that has just occurred in my life.
I want to know what to expect when using the True Node. Also, can you
please confirm for me whether the aspect I just mentioned above is in fact
fortunate for most charts. What happened to me was rather unfortunate you
see...

I have been checking the personal daily horoscope for years, every Thursday.
In Feb. 2004 I, unfortunately, had a long-range transit of Pluto squaring Sun
which was supposed to last from Feb. 2004 until the end of November, 2005.
I've been reading this horoscope for a long time, and last week the dates of
the impending end of the transit was nearing, and I was quite happy. To my
dismay, I looked today (Thursday) and the Pluto square Sun transit was
listed as beginning Dec. 2004 and ending October 2006! Was there a mistake
made? Instead of showing that the transit began Feb. 2004, it says that it
began in Dec. 2004. In Dec. last year, I was counting the months until the
horrible transit would be over, which was supposed to be next week, now the
site says that I at least 10 more months of it, after having felt it's
effects already for one year and nine months. PLease, tell me a mistake has
been made and this transit will end next week, like I thought it was supposed
to! My birthdate is 13 March 1964 at 23:57 in Glen Cove, NY.

Hi,
My questions are about Qquaorar: 1- would anyone know the significance of
that plant being exactly on the North Node in a natal chart, congacting
Uranus and Venus and oposing Chiron? 2 - if conjunction of Quaorar with Pluto
produces the Indigo Children then why those children were born throughout
such a long period and apparantly are still born but only from timr to time?
3- What is the harmonic conversion and how does it relate to indigo effect
and to the specific year of 1978 ? Was there a harmonic conversion in 1078?
4- Can ANY date of birth produce an indigo effect, perhaps by another aspect
between Pluto and Quaorar and not just conjunction? - I would so very much
appreciate a clarification and hope it would be of interest to others also. I
am new to the site and not knowledgeable in astrology... Thanks in advance.

I'm very interested in astrology and I'm using astrodienst website a lot
(www.astro.com).
I'm just curious how do you include DLS, DST - daylight saving times and
changes into atlas. I'm very interested in DLS time because it's very
important in calculations of astrological charts. Furthermore DLS times vary
from country to country and are changing sometimes from year to year as
determined by state governments. What resources did you use for DLS info?
History of legal times of countries? How do you varify the liability of
data?
Would appreciate any info on how to accsess precise DLS information.

Dear Astrodienst,
Can you please explain to me, what is wrong with my horoscope? I am sick
since school days no job since May 2001 (alltough speak fluent three world
languages) was victim from the Fraud, May 2003 and lost all my money no
friend ty to relocate to England from December 2002, and Ireland since 8
months have big debts.
Four astrologer since 2000 did lie to me. I should be oversea, in the second
half of 2001. I am still here. All other told me, 2004/05 will be the best
(Solar). It was night mare.
Can you recommend me one serious astrologer, who tells the truth, not only
takes the money and lies?
Or, is there any reader of Feedback, to tell me, what is here going on? I
should get inheritance, be rich. Nothing from them.

I am deeply disappointed in the Long-Term Prspective horoscope I purchased
from you. The chart I received, far from being a profound and subtle
interpretation of the complex dynamics at work within you, feels superficial,
generic and without depth. Not at all what I expected from something Liz
Greene would put her name on. I have five of her books, and have studied
Astrology for years, and see NOTHING of her in this chart.

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt, dass ihr einer Kundin, die mit dem Psychologischen
Horoskop nicht zufrieden war (50% trifft gar nicht zu, als positiv
umschriebene Eigenschaften sind in Wahrheit sehr bedenkliche Züge oder so
ähnlich) ganz einfach offeriert habt, das Heft mit Angabe ihrer Kontonummer
zurück zu schicken und ihr den Betrag zu restituieren...!
Das spricht genau für das, was ich an Astrodienst so schätze: Ihr steht
hinter euren Produkten, es geht euch nicht primär um Umsatzgenerierung. Und
pädagogisch gesehen, war das eine wohl verblüffend wirkungsvolle Reaktion.
Hm. Hast du das mit deinen Zwillingen gelernt?

Je m'intéresse à l'astrologie depuis une bonne vingtaine d'années et je suis
en perpétuelle étonnement devant les coincidences permanentes entre les
cycles planétaires et les évennements politiques mondiaux et individuels
J'ai connu le site par logiciel Astrolog32. Les deux m'apportent des outils
qui me sont bien utiles pour monter rapidement des cartes.
Je suis en désaccord sur le thème des états unis car je pense sur la base de
la personnalité des états uniens et confirmé par les évennements de 2001que
l'ascendant est en gémeaux..

Hi, I wanted to say thank you for all the work that has been put into this
website. I have recently been reading a book by Stephen Arroyo called, The
Practice and Profession of Astrology, that touches on the issues of astrology
today, and its role in society. I just wanted to say that this site seems to
be bringing astrological knowledge together and helping to create a more
reliable foundation for all kinds of people around the world. Thank you. I
would also like to highly recommend this book (The Practice and Profession of
Astrology), to anyone, and particulary beginner astrologers, because of the
light it throws on astrology's value in society. It opens up the mind to
other influences, and I think this kind of attitude will help astrological
knowledge circulate between people instead of becoming stagnant from lack of
interaction with other astrologers. You're quit the character, Arroyo, Im
enjoying your writing, which is full of life. I have been learning astrology
for about 5 months now, and I think its slowly starting to sink in. Oh, and
all the charts from this website have been great help.

Aloha, I love your website, and have in the past ordered several services,
one of which has been the daily horoscope. Lately however i have preferred to
tune in from time to time, on Thursdays, and will in the future probably
subscribe again to this service. However, i am wondering if you would tell
me, which specific hours on each Thursday, I would have access to your
extended forecasts. I notice that i cannot retrieve information for anything
more than today or tomorrow, and it is now Thursday afternoon. I have tried
for an hour. ..also, tried last night, thinking that with the 12 hour
difference it would be thursday, on the european time zone. I am writing from
Maui, Hi. USA..and as you may know we are approximately 12 hours ahead of
you. Are you still honoring the Thursday window of opportunity? If so, please

Question: Will your astrologers offer rectification for natal charts any time
soon? The birth time my mom gave me is *iffy* and my first house really isn't

Hello Astrodienst,
Would it be possible in the chart selection for natal + transits to include
the planets Mercury, Venus, and Mars please? Or at least to offer the option
as the options for the asteroids are listed i.e. Chiron, Vesta, Pallas,
Ceres, Lilith, etc.

I want to thank you for an incredible web site. I have been reading Liz
Greene and Robert Hand since I was in my late teens considering that I am now
50, how old are you guys anyway?!
My 19, 23 and 25 year old sons often come to me for astrological advice I can
do my own, but I often refer them here for easy reference (I also check out
their girlfriends, etc). I also have an incredible 6 year old daughter and
am sure I will do the same for her. Isn't the internet incredible? I could
not have conceived back in my younger days that such a vehicle would ever
exist. Even when my sons were born, I bought encyclopedias. Who needs them
now?
Thank you for all the knowledge you've imparted to me through the years
especially Robert Hand, who got me through some incredibly difficult life
times with his book on intrepreting aspects. And Liz Greene, whose right up
there with Joseph Campbell when it comes to mythology.
Astrology is not a religion. It is better, and it IS my religion, since it
is open ended and open to interpretation unapologeticly. Life is a constant
flow of events, sometimes too slow, sometimes too fast, sometimes just right.
Yet if you can survive it, you can achieve so much in understanding, love
and wisdom. My thanks to you for aiding me in my search for meaning. And
for contributing to what has turned out to be a wonderful life. . .

it was nice 2 visit the site , my question is that i was working in NGO for
the last 4 yrs , due to some misunderstanding in the national staff. I was
workindg as a asst logistic coodinator and been the the best in NGO i was
liked by everyone , along with me there were 2 more who were junior to me
they always yse to create problem for me but i always over looked by me , but
1 day 13 january 2005 they both great a problem (fight) for me in which i was
fired along with me 13 more member was also they left there their job 'coz of
me, as every thing was said in front of the nation staff it was all unfair
so they all decided to nt to contiune thier job ,
This matter was been taken to court to get justice but the court said tht
the NGO doesnot come under the court law 'coz its a donor .
i would to ask u that wether i will go back / i will get another job
when?
i shall be very great ful to you

I personally have been referring friends and family to this site who have
been dealing with alot of personal problems. I often hear many people from
all over blaming their society or environment for their behavior. But I am
here to tell you, it starts from within. I am a Taurus and have been going
through a transformation for 7 years now. I lost my soul which started me on
this soul searching journey . I began to see the bad habits and negative
baggage I carried on my back for all this time. This site as well as a few
others have helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I am very spiritual as it is but reading
the horoscopes and interpretations only clarified what I was going through
and how I needed to change my course. Finally, this month I have found myself
again and I am finally at Peace. Sorry for the long message but the more
people I can reach the better.
