I was wondering whether, as AstroDienst has access to so much data and
information, you have entertained the possibility of testing for statistical
significance of astrological data and information (given participants
agreement of course)?

I've searched the archives, but can't find the answer to my question: how are
the angles calculated for secondary progressed charts? I have been told that
the MC is most usually progressed by Solar Arc or by Right Ascension of the
Mean Sun- I never knew until today that there was more than one method, but
now I'm wondering which method Astrodienst uses for secondary progressed
charts?

Hi there, i just love astro.com ! one of the best websites ever! i know
astro.com some years ago when talking with someone about astrology and since
then im a regular user of astro.com, i just hope astro.com can keep
themselves free for everyone who wants! i really dont understand much from
astrology but i love all the interpretations, and i trully believe they have
helped me becoming a better human being by understanding some changes in me
etc :)

Thank you for your positive interpretation, this is a kind of eye opener, I
always see Pluto negative. I am going to marry at the exact conj. of my natal
Pluto and progr. asc. so maybe this will be the point - and the whole will
also influence the 4th house, whos ruler is Scorpio. I agree that Pluto
influences are very subtle ant not always necessarily negative.

The astrology chart was an ancient hidden yet obvious message of great
knowledge. It is actually an accurate map of our solar system with the sun as
the center. Saturn is as far as they used to go. You can easily draw it to
see what I mean. Use a circle of the zodiac signs. Start at leo, ruled by
the sun, next cancer ruled by the moon then notice going down ether side -
gemini/virgo ruled by mercury, libra/ taurus ruled by venus, scorpio/aries
(traditionaly ruled by mars, sagittarius/pisces(traditionally ruled by
jupiter) and finally capricorn/ aquarius(traditionally ruled by saturn).
Saturn was as far as it went traditionally. As new planets were discovered
rulerships were reassigned continuing the wrap around at the saturn rulership
point ....if you look you will also notice the poor out of step modern
astrologers are obviously wrong about pluto primary rulership... a point for
another day.

natal Pluto in Virgo. Any opinions about it?
I am thinking about studying astrology at a school for a change and live in
London, so was thinking of joining the CPA with Liz Greene, but maybe
somebody here can give me an experienced opinion about the two schools in
London that I am aware of before commiting for good. Being a double Gemini
with Cancer rising makes me a bit more anxious that I would like to admit,
your opinion counts for me at this crossroads.

Eine Frage an die Programmierer dieser Seite:
Ich hätte ein paar Ideen für andersartige Horoskop Grafiken, die ich aus
eigenem Interesse zur Verfügung haben möchte, da mir das Lesen einer
klassischen Horoskopgrafik keinen Spass macht, obwohl ich die Texte immer
sehr interessant finde. Diese Leseschwäche der klassischen Horoskopgrafik
motivierte mich wohl dazu, mir neue Wege der Darstellung auszumalen. Woran
ich aber bei der Umsetzung bis jetzt scheiterte, war das Fehlen eines
Astro-Rechners, der mir für ein Datum das Horoskop liefert. So ein
Softwarepaket ist vermutlich sogar fast kostenlos im Internet zu finden
irgendwo, aber eine weitere Leseschwäche in Bezug auf Komponenten-Software
motivierte mich nun zu folgendem Plan:
Wenn sie, liebe Programmierer von astro.ch, mir in einem Email erklären
könnten, mit welcher Technologie sie die Horoskop-Zeichnungen generieren,
welche man auf ihrer Homepage anzeigen kann, könnte ich vielleicht die nötige
Software schreiben, die meine Ideen für neuartige Astrografiken
implementiert.
Dazu müsste ich natürlich ausserdem noch wissen, wie ich mir ein Testumgebung
installieren kann, mit der ich diese erweiterte Grafikauswahl von astro.ch
implementiere.
Ich fände dieses kleine Projekt wirklich sehr spannend. Ob wir am Ende sogar
überein kommen, dass ich astro.ch diese Software zur Verfügung stelle, halte
ich für keineswegs ausgeschlossen. Doch im Moment handelt es sich mehr um
eine Studienprojekt.
Was halten sie davon?

treat this object, which has not yet been officially numbered, as a special
object with a fixed orbit. Its elements are in the file seorbel.txt
I hear allot about the laid in stone interpretations on here by robert hand
or liz greene for that matter ..they are just two of the most commercial
astrologers of our time,You shouldn't interpret these literally. its a
process how it will work out no astrologer can tell you before hand ,its best
to visit a really good astrologer for a one on one consultation and make
sure you record the session on tape

on the negative as well.

Jana: regarding Pluto. This planet does bring change into our lives but the
effects can be subtle. Any planet prog. to the asc will give an overlay of
it's nature to your appearance - perhaps you will favour dark clothes,
sunglasses and seem to others more intense or harder to contact, than usual.
That is the outer manifestation, but the inner one could be that you seek
more depth and impact in your contacts with others. As Pluto rules your 2nd,
your attitude to possessions may evolve through significant changes in
finance and possibly your parents/home life/career could be areas to watch as
Pluto rules Scorpio (your 4th house probably ). Please do not fear a Pluto
transit it will change your attitudes significantly but take you forward with
much more focus. Best wishes.

Je trouve ce site très bien: un regard sérieux sur l'univers de l'astrologie
toutefois j'ai une remarque à faire. Souvent les traductions sont mauvaises.
J'ai l'habitude de les lire en françias, italien et anglais et... je vous
assure... parfois il y a des différences vraiment importantes: Dommage, cela
désoriente et rend votre travail peu fiable!

My prog.asc. is now about to conjunct the natal Pluto (which is located in
the 2nd house/Virgo). Does anyone have a clue about what could happen to me
or what does it mean. I feel very scared....I bought the 6 years analysis by
Liz Green and there is an explanation but it does not satisfy me
completely.Thank you for any opinion.

I use your site for all of my chart calcuations and find it to be extremely
accurate. I used to calculate all of the solar and lunar returns for my
family and myself by hand (very time consuming), and would often find myself
second-guessing as to wether I had made any errors after long hours with so
many numbers running around in my head. You have made my life a great deal
easier, and for that I thank you.

The sky is the limit for you. You have the smarts, energy and itchy feet so
learning more about astrology could take you somewhere. You just have to
stick to it.
To Tom of London - I too experienced a very similar experience with twins in
Florida. I kept seeing this guy everywhere only to find out there were 2 of
them. Both adopted by doctors, living 20 miles apart, both juglers of sorts,
using their hands, ending at the University of S. Florida, etc. etc. If
anyone knows of good books on research on twins please let me know. I've
been studying astrology forever and it has made my life so easy. I'm all for
it and this great site. Not another one like it.

Im a gemini/sag moon/cap asc... musician / artist / old skool zodiac freak ..
but most of my learning Betty Lundsted , jungian type stuff ... This site is
amazing ... the transit energy so real its either real or the most amazing
mind trick in the solar system
( that and the binary logic thing perhaps) ... but im not fooled to easy, i
think at least ... so Alois or someone tell me whats going on in
Switzerland , are you special characters way ahead of some game or what ? .
questions : Are we like toys or something ? Are these transit algorythmes
that are kind of pre-programed , set to trigger behaviour patterns amongst us
that then trigger evolution . Why is the language of the commands so
abstract ? Is it simply an ancient wisdom that has been bred out of us by the
earth and money signs to keep us enslaved to paranoia and greed or is it that
some special people have a natural inclanation to this art form / magic and
the reality is that most people are happy being only interested in themselves
and their pleasures . Are most people happy to play the thanksgiving turkey
(american greed ritual, turkey is docile and fattened up for slaughter )
while others are trying to get the DNA into space ?For most people it seems
that life is about pleasures and the search for distraction . Doesnt this
mean , even from the most fuzzy(pagan logic) level we arnt that important in
the universe ? Like I said , just vehicles for DNA . Or am i coming from it
from the wrong perspective . Maybe the universe doesnt see pleasure and self
absorbtion in the same way a gemini raised church of england / lutheran with
a cap ascendant in a modern western enviroment would see it . Mmmm.. anyway

realizan una excelente labor y su servicio es profesional e impecable.
Anoche al llegar a casa con gusto recogi del buzon mi solicitud de la carta
de relacion de que hice con la interpretacion de Liz Green, con su lectura de
principio a fin me conmovi profundamente, me senti plenamente identificada
con su contenido, confirme muchos aspectos que creia que solo eran
dilucidaciones mias y me hizo comprender ampliamente mi mundo interno y la
llave para conseguir lo que me otorga paz.
Temblé y no de dolor ni de miedo, de gratitud por haber recibido este

I learnt Astrology from my Mother ... Gillian (Jill) Boyd. I believe she has
taught a few successful professionals. If anyone out there reads this and
knows her .... please let her know Progressed Mercury is now direct (among
other things) and my knowledge is now consolidated.
I learnt it by default as a young child ...less than 14yo
It's taken a long time (30years) for me to realise what a gift my mother
gave me.

I read some of your history and about a couple of your projects and

I bought the Sydney Omarr's Sun,Moon,and You last year and I just read it
recently because I had some difficulties in my marriage quite days ago and I
been thinking to end this marriage but because of the Astrology for Lovers
that I read and print I found myself again for giving a chance for this
wonderful relation we had of my husband his in the middle of insecurity and
I'm already in the end and wits and almost to give up everything we have and

format, please order the 'Personal Horoscope Calendar'. This is spiral bound
booklet with about 220 pages, one column for each day, plus some more for
days which have special importan transits.
The natal report is separate, and you should order the Psychological
Horoscope for that.
Maybe you want to have a look at the samples. The PDF formatted samples will
show you the reports just as they appear in print.

More than satisfied with all the input I get from the reports I have
purchased as well as the daily horoscopes, study of which helps in adjusting
behaviour to suit the circumstances. I have nothing in the way of crticism
and much praise for the intelligent inteligence! However I am puzzled by what
you might consider an omission - I have a grand cross in my chart -
identified and commented upon as a very significant feature by some
astrologers previously consulted - none of them have given a satisfactry
explanation of the effects of this phenomenon and Astro has never pointed out
its existence, not explained what it may indicate! Help! David

Message for Liz Green - please explain why do I have three different
ascendants! An indian hand made (manually calculated states that my rising
sign is Aries - another vedic computerised says my rising sign is Taurus
where as Astrodientst says my ascedant is Gemini! Surely, this does not
sound right! Please reply to this feedback

I find the daily horoscopes on this website focus heavily on negetive rather
than positive influences- they range from the depressing to the downright
scary. One morning I was told to avoid criminals as I might be subject to
some sort of violent act. I tend not to pay extended visits to maximum
security prisons- but nevertheless, found myself worrying about the
possiblity of such an attack as I went for an evening walk. Thinking
negetively as we all know, in this enlightened age brings about negetive
things. I think the daily astrologer and Robert Hand (if they are not the
same person) should be more responsible when it comes to interpreting the
stars. Take a leaf out of Jonathan Cainer's or Susan Miller's book- they
always leave me feeling on top of the world as well as giving me plenty to
think about.

The short form forecast never seems to change, although every month it says
it has been generated that month for the coming 6 months or whatever. Is it
just my chart which is unchanging or your computer program?
