Sehr geehrtes Astro-Team,

Was
sagt der Astrodienst zu Chiron Quadrat Chiron?
Vielen Dank und alles Liebe!

Some grammatically corretion. Under my country GREENLAND, my birth town

You have forgotten the letter I in the end of the word.

Hello Astro Team!
Site is great, and probably hit count talks more than my comliments. However
I wanted to ask for some thing I have been thinking. I am planning to built
personal web page for my friends - forums, etc. and it would be very nice to
include planet current position data, just like in your start page. There are
java scripts, and other ways to implement this, but your page could only gain
hits, as well as its a great free banner.
Theory:
astro.com provides link (iframe, php include, cgi) whatever suits better, and
of course on top or bottom link to astro.com as advertisement for service. I
think it will generate more hits, and many astrology websites would be happy
to include this element in their pages. It would not generate much traffic,
as for example I would be happy with _text_only_ version like: Sun::19Tau32
etc.
anyhow its an advice for consideration, and as I said - it would help your
page generate not only more traffic, but page ranking in google as well, as
it is made from linking to your page.
Thank You!

I have always understood that the position of the Part of Fortune is
calculated by taking the distance from a chart's Sun to a chart's Moon and
adding it to the chart's Ascendant. You appear to be using a different
method. Can you tell me what formula you are using? Thank you.

I've enjoyed reading the comparisons of astrology and Jungian psychological
type. What is your feeling of the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator or Keirsey
Temperament Sorter? I've been studying both for a while now, but find myself
coming back to astrology searching for connecting patterns. Where in the
MBTI and Keirsey models, I come out strongly intuitive (represented by my
seven fire signs all in major planets and the sun) with a Feeling augment
(not represented in my sign, which suggest a Thinking secondary preference).
Additionally, my Astrodienst personality report seems to suggest a highly
extroverted personality type, but I am actually introverted on the MBTI and
Keirsey models (and have always been a bit shy). How does
Introversion/Extroversion show itself in one's chart? Well, I have many more
questions, but I will leave that for later. Blessings - to you and your
wonderful site.

Dear staff at Astrodienst!
Here are some thoughts that’s been interrupting me a couple of weeks. I’ll
pass them on to you, maybe you could make better use of them!
I´m one of your regular visitors at www.astro.com. Some month ago I reached
the limited 100 persons-list at “My astro” and had to delete some and start
all over again. There are great gifts you offer us here!
•First - a question: the reason for not including a combined progression +
transit -chart in the free “Extended Chart Selection”, is that, that some of
the charts in the Astro Shop are based on them? (That choice available would
be much appreciated by me.)
•Maybe this is a rude question that severely annoys the authors of the
horoscopes, but: have you ever thought of offering the charts in the
Astro-shop with the aspects all written out in figures, beside the
interpretation, for us eager amateur-astrologers to grow faster? I know there
is the chart-picture to look at, but you know as well as I that there are
some billions of facts to weigh into every area of the written
horoscope-interpretation. I guess this question belongs to the rude ones
because it asks for some of the “secret tools” of the astrologer in question.
(But I would be willing to pay for it.)
•And – when it comes to money, I would also be willing to pay for the
excellent service you offers through the My Astro-data base! (That one,
together with the extended chart selection and some of your interactive ones
is the reason I´ve developed my astro-skills the last years. And it’s all for
free - amazing!)
•Finally – a couple of reflections going on your free “Interactive
Travel-horoscope”: a list of the aspects included in the personalized map,
together with their interpretations would be a treat. If this came with the
possibility to, with a mouse-click, be transferred to the actual aspect-line
on the map it would be perfect. (I have problem distinguishing the separate
lines in the world-map, my eyes are running and I´m looking like some badger
cutting onion for her living.)
I know some of these questions are like asking Santa for more gifts – it’s
incredibly rude! I take the risk and submit this feedback with an
apologize…!

Fremantle in Perth Western Australia is misspelt with a double E, and should
be spelt East Fremantle.
It is to be pronounced Frem-antle and not Free-mantle. Fremantle is the Port

Hallo Astrodienst,
Sandy H e g e r Assen, Niederlande --- Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 20:12 Universal Time
Regarding the recent debate on this feedback regarding menstruation, I have
just been reading Lyall Watson's excellent book 'Supernature' (first
published in 1973.) In the book Watson writes: 'The great Swiss chemist
Svante Arrhenius once recorded 11,807 menstrual periods. He found that there
was a slight relationship to the lunar cycle: the onset of bleeding occurred
more often during the waxing than the waning moon, with a peak on the evening
before new moon.' A recent German study of ten thousand menstruations also
found a peak near the new moon.
On another matter, the same book says that in the northern hemisphere more
children are born in May and June and the fewest in November and
December.
This may go some way to explaining why, in my previous posting on feedback, I
listed that Gemini and Taurus occupy the number one and two spot for
multi-millionaires in the U.K., whilst Scorpio and Sagittarius occupy the
tenth and twelfth positions.

Celeste M u l h o l l a n d Johannesburg, South Africa --- Friday, April 8, 2005 at 21:40 Universal Time
To Bob Salmon: thanks! Will look up those names during our Semester break,
and before the next batch of 100 first year papers come in! So far, my break
has been about not breaking.
Just in case more persons out there are still confusing some of we rational
types with persons like 'economic rationalists' (who are in fact irrationally
motivated selfish thugs and rationists and not rationalists at all), my
personal tarot readings keep aligning with astro.com's personal daily
reports...
Bob, perhaps, or someone else perhaps, might have a suggestion on such
constants and whether such constants constitute coincidences or not, and
whether these are uncanny, or whether, I am finally coming into tune with the
cosmos.
To all interested in the female menstrual cycle. I don't know whether any
other astronomical object other than the moon has anything to do with it or
not. I do know, however, that my Chinese medicine and western medicine
trained acupuncturist, and my Egypt and west trained homeopath (fondly known
as the alchemist), and every single one of the more wisdom focussed
gynaecologists I have had, as well as Aristotle, all say that the female
period usually lands between the half and the full moon. Mine aligns with the
full moon every four months, then with the 3/4 full, then the 1/2 full, then
the 1/8, for the ensuing three, and so on and so on, over and over again. As
such, if the non-full moon periods align with the moon, and if there is some
other astronomical entitiy that accounts for the 3/4, then perhaps yet
another accounts for the 1/2, and yet another with the 1/8. I have no idea
how the other three objects could be accounted for, if such things as
precession are factored in. Over the period of years that I have attempted to
keep careful track of my cycle, my period never ever lands in the 3 days of
Hecate...
Also, at a certain stage of my life (now fortunately long past), I attempted
to meditate my period into always landing on the full moon, and always on the
full moon. I ended up having a break-down/epiphany that took a lot of work to
recover from.
From my perception of what it is to be rational (tuning in with, and living
by both the human and the cosmic logos - the cosmic one being a whole of lot
easier to tune into, given the feral nutcases out there), the reason why I
went through the schism, is because the meditative project was antagonistic
to the cosmic logos. I tried to set my humanity above the cosmic logos,
rather than tuning my puny little self to the cosmos, the matter of accepting
that the cosmos does have its own logos, whether I like it or not. So, to all
who give a hoot about such things, this rather accounts for the serene thrill
I am experiencing when I do my 'reality check' tarot readings.
Alois, despite your lack of female genitalia and other qualifying bits and
pieces, would you please suggest some answers to the female period question.
As far as I am concerned, other than Bob Salmon's question, that is by far
the best question that has been posed all year! Thanks Memorexe...

Hello to all of you at Astro-Dienst-Team,
I have been visiting the site quite often, and appreciate all the effort. It
is a wonderful job! You provide insight into many aspects of life for
everyone and guidance too.
I also appreciated the effort behind the 'Asto-Click-Travel' feature, which
gives a clear picture of the influence of a location on a person. In the
current version, the user needs to click on the location of interest on the
map. However, owing to the resolution of the map, screen, and mouse
positionings, one cannot exactly click the precise place of interest.
Instead if the user could input the Latitude and Longitude co-ordinates of
the place of interest, then the location would be selected more accurately.
Hope to see this feature incorporated, soon.
With best wishes regards

IN my son's astro chart, I dont find any planets in the 10th house, which is
the house for a career/job. What does this mean?

So
etwas macht mir Angst.

I am the person who wrote very recently saying I had added Pope John Paul
II's data to my group. Among other observations, I alluded to the fact the
Pontiff had had a Libra Rising, the assumption being the time of birth I had
found noted most often on the net to be correct at 17:30 hrs. What I did
today was to go to the Astro-Twins link for him, and there you had the
Pontiff's chart with a Virgo Rising, which makes a lot of sense, and the
birth time was 13:53 hrs. I am going to follow your lead as I'm sure you've
done your homework, and the timing is correct. So once again, Thank You!!!!!

The U.K.'s Sunday Times newspaper has just published its annual Rich List
listing those U.K. residents with fortunes from £50 million up to the richest
person with £14,800 million sterling. The newspaper provides signs for all
but twenty-one of the 1082 people listed. (Approximately one quarter
inherited their wealth.)

I have entered Pope John Paul II in my astro data, and I've been able to see
his chart. I can't tell you how much I appreciate being able to do this.
The insight is invaluable. The Libra Rising, the Sun, Moon conjunction in
the 8th house, the Leo influence at the top of the chart and the double
T-square involving both the Sun and the Moon, all valuable confirmation of an
extraordinary life. You've shone addtional light on, in my estimation, the
most extroaordinary spiritual entity of my lifetime. Thank you so much.

PP,
I agree that many scientists are very tuned-in to the Universe. So . . . it
seems to me that you feel that the names of the outer planets were chosen by
people who somehow sensed the inner nature of those planets. Yes, I guess
that's very possible. Thanks very much for your thoughts on the subject.

Have you ever considered including heliocentric charts and reports? I'm
wondering how much progress has been made in the last 15 years or so on
interpretation and verification.

Alois adds: You can create heliocentric charts (but no readings for them) on
our system, see extended chart selection, zodiac choices.
Have you considered making your products available via RSS?
At least for the free products, it might greatly extend your reach
(e.g. you could appear on My Yahoo! without having to do
anything at all). You would have to arrange it so that everything
needed to produce the data is encoded in the URL itself, but
perhaps your web application is already set up that way.

Reply to Zenlibra: perhaps you don't know yourself as well as you think you
do. I would also seriously question how zen it is to write of your
disappointment with a particular person, and tell all and sundry 'to get rid
of Mr. Pelletier' in a public forum. What's next for you, sweetie: ruling the
world? I hope not, as you are quite clearly out of balance.
Reply to Asun: as you are clearly unable to tap into the notion of
rationality, I question your grasp of the concept of 'irrationality'. You
clearly do not have the open mind you think you have, as you have confined
your 'study', a term you have confused with swallowing the stupid whole, hook
line and sinker, to modern writing. If you had read any ancient writing at
all, you would understand that 'soul' is only one way of translating the
Ancient Greek word psyche, which is also translated to mind. Very few
ancients actually believed in the 'soul' that you clearly believe in, as they
were monists, and not substance dualists, which is an invention of Hinduism,
Zoriastrianism, and Christianity (unless of course we are speaking of
Plotinus, who was influenced by all three).

Reply to Bob Salmon: it is a coincidence, but not sure how amazing it is, if
we take the following theory, which is based on some empirical evidence, into
account.
The theory: there are numerous scientists, philosphers, pscho-therapists and
other persons, who are far more open-minded - not to say far more interesting
- than their professional peers. These persons not only happen to produce far
more interesting, and profound, work in their respective areas (most of which
cross-over), but they produce interesting work in more controversial areas.
The work they produce in controversial areas - say Astrology and
Para-psychology - is produced under pseudonymn.
While you might not find obvious links between astrology and its ostensibly
conservative relatives, physics, mathematics, and astronomy, they are most
definitely there. See, for instance, Alois's bio, which at least partly
ccounts for why this is such a great site. If interested, please submit
interest to feedback, and I will give you :
(1) the name of a philosopher who is openly bucking the sceptical system, and
whose very interesting book on the ostensibly inexplicable paranormal is
meeting with notable interest and
(2) the name of a physist/astronomer who is discounting the synchronicity
theory, not because he is antagonisitc to astrology, but because he has
probably found a better explanation than either it, or the seriously
over-worked pineal gland. This is, if earth has a magnetic sphere (and it
seems to), then it is more than probable that everthing else 'out there' does
too. As we are talking magnetic spheres, all of these spheres have enough of
the physical in common for them to be able to interact in a thoroughly
unspooky, and non-random way. (Alois probably knows about this, and perhaps
he would like to comment, assuming he is back from the Caribbean and has seen
enough Ja to last him another Zurich year).
Hate to be mysterious about the names, but I simply cannot remember them at
the moment. I am, by the by, a test subject in a para-psychology unit that is
part of the psychology dept. at Adelaide University. There is also one at
Flinders, also in Adelaide.
Adelaide is pretty cool: our premier Mike Wran has decided that since our
'leaders' evidently do not know how to lead (and we people evidently do),
which is just one of the reasons why we Aussies are not part of the Kyoto
Treaty, we and other states will sign and show them how to be good
politicians (i.e. good human beings). M.W. has just announced we are to
launch into the wind power technology. Yo! Maybe we will start growing tulips
and poppies too, in lieu of growing animals for the abattoirs here.
I am in love with M.W., and Alois, and many others, because I love profound,
interesting people, who know that to subvert is to do the right thing!

Most astrologers agree that there is a close correspondence between each
planet's astrological characteristics and the characteristics of the god the
planet is named after. But as far as I can tell, no person with any interest
in astrology was involved naming the planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. They
were named by scientists. In fact there was much controversy with each of
these namings, none of which had anything (that I know of) to do with
astrology. I'm not a skeptic, but I do wonder how we can account for this
amazing coincidence.
