I absolutely adore reading your interpretations of various aspects of the horoscope and have found nothing that I disagreed with other than your interpretation of the meaning of Uranus in Saggitarius. You wrote that people born during this time will be attracted to cults and different eccentric religious sects. I believe that maybe another possibility is that people of this time will express the Saggitarius need for freedom and go against organized religion altogether. Let me know what you think.

Would anyone have any information about the birthtime of the late Queen Mother? Her date of birth is given as August 4, 1900, but there is considerable confusion about her place and time of birth. Her father stated that she was born at the family home in Hertfordshire, St. Pauls Walben Bury, but the Queen Mother herself apparently always said that she was born in London. Lois Rodden's site, www. astrodatabank.com, has the Queen Mother's birth data listed as DD i.e., dirty data. But an old astrology text I have, A Beginner's Guide to Practical Astrology, by Vivian Robson, (originally published in 1930), states that her ascendant was Taurus I'm just wondering if the author was privy to some actual information regarding this, or if he or she was just surmising her ascendant based on her appearance , or something. This is really irritating. Does anyone have any information about this? I'd greatly appreciate anyone's thoughts.

Hey Alois,

I have commented on this before, but the corrections still have not been made. The orbs of influence (transit) that you give on certain aspects from the trans saturnian planets are not consistant from the daily horoscope section to the forecast section. EX: Uranus trine Venus in forecast has influence from March 1 to April 7 2002. Yet in the Daily Horoscope the activity period is 27 Feb. 2002 to 28 Jan. 2003. Whats up?

Hello. I am new to this site. I love it. Question: your computer picks one aspect for the day. Why this particular one? Is it just random? Also, are the other aspects listed valid and effective for that same day? I am new to astrology, thus these seemingly elementary questions. Thank you for such a wonderful site. Marcus

mark rossano [ markrossanohotmail.com ] (visiting www.astro.com)
amherst junction, usa --- Saturday, March 30, 2002 at 12:37 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: It tries to pick the most relevant one, but at the same time tries to offer variation, i.e. not bring the same theme every day. The other listed transits are valid as well. What is really important are the long-term influences; at most three of these are listed, while there are often more in the background.

This is the only website i've found very useful on astrology. I enjoyed it very much actually, when i discovered my personality through the Astroclicks and was amazed at the levels of preciseness and this also revealed many insights on my personality. I managed to get the birth data of the person i'm actually in love with and analysed them using the astroclick partner service and was really surprised when it pointed out the actual ongoing difficulties between the two of us and it also pointed out the dangers to avoid but unfortunately i was a bit too late to learn about it and we already made nearly all the mistakes the analysis warned us about and in my point of view now, this relationship has no chance of survival. Anyways i really enjoyed your website. It enhanced my knowledge on my inner self as well as my knowledge on astrology which will be very helpful onward in my life.

I REALLY enjoy this website nad it has given me great insights of my self and loved ones! Thanks so much. Just a few questions: What influence does the true node, the node, darkmoon and chiron? What meanings nad purposes do they serve and have? IN Astrology books I have read, I have never come in contact with these astro-riffic objects. Your alois adds would be greatly appreciated. Thank You so much!

Alois adds: Thanks for the feedback. I am afraid, I cannot start teaching astrology in this guestbook area. Please, go to the homepage and use the section 'Understanding Astrolog' in the left column. There you will find basic explanations in 'Introduction->planets' and moe in depth material in the 'Advanced articles' area.

We have no 'Astroclick' text in the interactive area for these elements because the authors of that text material did not write it. Astrology is a large field, and not everything can be covered at a single place. I recommend that you study the literature in more depth. About Chiron there are excellent books, e.g. by Melanie Reinhart. The Lunar Nodes are covered in many books; for Lilith, I do only know German and French books.

I absolutely love this site!! I was just recently asked to give an astrology lecture at a local liberal arts college, and whenever anyone asked me how to get started in the whole astrology field, I recommended this site. Here, the information is simple enough for first timers and still offers the chance to find in depth reports for the extreme astrology buffs... I can't say thanks enough... You guys are great!

I love your site, but I am confused about something regarding your AstroTRavel site. Are these readings constantly changing...or are they fixed and permanent. In other words, if I get a negative reading regarding San Diego, will I always get the same reading for it, or will the reading change over time?

I ask because I am thinking about moving to either San Fransisco, CA or Austin, Texas. The problem is that my son, who is 4, gets a very negative reading in regards to living in San Fran (particularly about possible health challenges if he spends time there), whereas the Austin reading is much better. Both places affect me more positively (based on our individual charts). I'm not sure how to correctly interpret this in regards to actually living there for a long period of time.

Hope my question makes sense. Thank you!

Whitney Leigh Harris [ whitmaxhotmail.com ] (visiting www.astro.com)

Alois adds: AstroClick travel is a reading of the natal chart, it does not contain a time element. Please read the introduction in the popup window for more details. Please do also not give too much weight to these readings. Any horoscope reading of single chart factors has severe shortcomings, because it does not synthesize the complete information. We do not recommend to make an important life decision dependent on an 'AstroClick Travel' reading.

I need some advice on my 18 year old sag son. I am an astrologer and my son has 7 planets in sag in the 2nd house. Since he was 6 he has been under a conjunction by pluto. All chaos has been workable till now. Transiting Pluto just finished with his south node, and is now on his Jupiter.

He is stuck, rigid, won't move even physically. Things are worse than they have ever been, and its been a long time challenge. He quite school at 16, he quite his job if his father or I won't buy him a car, and many other stories. I know that pluto won't be finished with his last planet til he is 24.

Any insights for my own peace of mind on the jupiter/pluto. (In my chart trans. pluto will conjunct my natal saturn/mars in the 2nd house.

No rest for the Mother of Pluto!

Alois adds: I am sorry, but I cannot give personal advice in this section. I prefer not to become another Anne Landers.

I can only say this: For a situation like your son's, I strongly recommend for him, and possibly for you, to seek qualified psychological counselling or family therapy. The mother's astrology insights are unlikely to be effective in this situation.

Your son should also consider to move out of the family home and get some considerable distance. Maybe the military service is an option for him, or work on an ocean ship.

Thanks so much for this site. It's made it possible for me to explore the many questions I have. I think there may be a typo on the date for a venus squared ciron in the transit chart. I understand the differance in date for a transit shown on the forcast and in the daily transits. This not listed in the forcast and I don't think it's a long transit. Venus is squaring my natal ciron and transiting ciron. The dates listed on the program are 20 Feb 2002 to 13 Dec 2002. Can you tell me how long this transit is in effect? Since this is during my ciron return I'm playing close attention. Thanks Yolanda

This is an excellent site, but I am very disappointed with one feature. When I ran my birthchart, under the personal portrait, it gave me some planetary interpretations for the wrong houses. At the bottom is a note that states: Technically the planet is near the end of the second house, and is therefore interpreted in the third.

As a serious astrologer, I feel I must object to this cavalier method of interpretation. If the planet is in the second, it is there for a reason, and should not be interpreted in the third. Such a practice, when trying to establish the validity of astrology, simply promotes scepticism and discredits it as a serious discipline.

Viki (visiting www.astro.com)
--- Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at 20:33 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: I do not agree with your rigidity. Astrology is closer to art than to science. The astrologer who reads the chart determines his/her rules and technical preferences. Different artists have different styles.

Particularily with house borders - where there is a multitude of house systems to choose from - it is futile to start such an argument about technique. I recommend you be happy with your style of your art, and let others be happy with their choices.

The validity of the art of cooking is established by the taste of the food and the health of the eaters, not by discussions about how long "one should" roast a cat.

PS: On Feb 28, 2002 there was a similar exchange about freedom of methods. Possibly the frequency of such outbreaks is related to the phase of the Moon.

Thanks so much, I found the Portrait in English today! Very interesting site, I will tell my pals who are interested in Astrology about it.

Jorge Gustavo [ jor_guyahoo.com.br ] (visiting www.astro.com)
São Paulo, Brazil --- Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at 11:03 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: The apostrophe marks those aspects which have a large orb (above 50% of maximum orb). These wide aspects should probably be ignored. By doubling the number of planets the probability for an aspect is increased, and orbs should accordingly be reduced.

Dear Sirs: March 26, 2002

I'm a regular user of Astrodienst for the last 2 years or so. It is a very good site. I've been an intense student of Astrology since the mid-1990's. This valuable science has helped me understand so much more about my Self than I'd ever known until my early 30's. I do Astro profiles on the side as a hobby. Many think I'm pretty good, too. I've E-mailed ASTRO.COM to find out the birthdates of 3 mass murderers. They are: Ted Bundy, Wayne Williams and Charles Manson.
I'm a mentor in a church-based program that works with young boys who have no Father or
male-role model in their lives. One of the first things I do in working with a youth is to analyze his chart to get an overview of his IPD(Intra-Personal Dynamics). When I can get this general insight into a boy's IPD, I know how to approach and work with the youth. The placement of the Sun, the Moon and 8 planets(as well as the ASC) are all very important in understanding any person's chart and IPD. But to me,what is most important in handling these youths is the locations of the Moon and Pluto.
Males, of course, have the most trouble in
dealing with and understanding their emotions. This is only part the problem. What I'm more interested in is where the Plutonian energy is(as well as their Mars placement). To me, it's crucial that these youngsters gain control of the potential destructive force inside of them and turn it into a transformative one. If they don't ever learn to give a healthy outlet for their anger, they will usually be headed for a life of crime.
My interest in studying the charts of some mass murderers is to get some insight into the minds of such people. I believe that if mentors and counselors know more about the forces I've mentioned, we can channel that energy into more
promising results. I know that I'm on very thin ice as far as metaphysics and the Church are concerned. Especially, the Black Church. But I do believe now that my purpose in Life is to help others through metapsychics and related subjects. To me, Astrology, itself, proves the very existence of the Creator.
I would appreciate the data I requested. Thank you very much. I shall be E-mailing ASTRO.COM much more.
By the way, what is your overall assessment of the Mutable Grand Cross that formed for most of the day on February 26th of last month? I was watching this formation most intensely to see its effect on things here in the ATL.

Sincerely,

David E. French

I'm telling everybody, this is the greatest Astro-site on the web, because it is.
If www.astr.ch ever finds itself struggling financially, because the infrastructure alone surely costs a bit, consider a subscriber-fee for My Astro. I for one would be willing to pay a, hmm, small fee, for priceless service like all astro-data saved in one secure place. I used to collect astro-data and lose it over time - no more, now everything is securely stored.

Thank-you again Astrodienst for such a great site.
Does anyone have any comments or resource suggestions on Neptune square Neptune. I'm 39 years old and transiting Neptune in Aquarius in my fourth house has just squared my natal Neptune in Scorpio in my first house. Apparently this is going to last for two years. I'd appreciate any insights about this. Thank-you. Yiana

Es geht mir einerseits um einen Überblick, um zu erkennen, welche Kräfte wo und wie wirken, andererseits auch um Details, insbesondere die Städte...

Dear astro,
I am currently interprinting a progressed chart of a relative who has been thinking for quite a long time about ending a long lasting marriage. He just does not feel he can experience such a radical change ,though he feels things cannot get better.
On his progressed chart his moon is now (this month) entering his 7th house (Aries) , and at the same time his sun(ruler) is entering(this year) his 1st house(conjunct to the Asc. and his dark moon). What is more the sun and the moon come to opposition while taking the afformentioned positions.
Moreover the transiting Jupiter conjucts his MC and the transiting Saturn does the same to his partner's Venus.
I would like your opinion on whether these are (enough or strong) indications that he will feel psychologically ready to change the basis of his life as a thing he cannot avoid any more.
Hope to hear from you soon

Liz Greene's Yearly Horoscope Analysis is a report which uses transits and progressions for a 12-month forecast reading. It runs more than 40 pages (see sample reports on homepage). However, the interpretation model we have developed with Liz Greene makes its own selection of 'relevant themes'. This will often not agree with the ideas of other astrologers, about which progressions or transits are particularily relevant for a given period. Therefore, there is no guarantee that a particular progressed aspect or transit will be discussed in the report. The Yearly Horoscope Analysis is a highly focused report trying to evaluate what is really important in the given time period.

Out of unusual curiosity, I ran a report for T.Tt. and got this result: If you order the Yearly Horoscope Analysis, starting from march 2002 for 12 months, the Sun and Moon progressions you mention are in fact included in the chapter 'The Year's Main Themes'.
The table of contents begins with:

II. The year's main themes - page 5

The dominant energy * Becoming yourself * Gifts from heaven * Another important theme * The importance of relationship * Friction and fruition * Confusion about goals

I am afraid we cannot provide this kind of in-depth reading for free. Please use the Astro Shop to order the Yearly Horoscope Analysis.
PS: currently in English and German, soon also in French.

Hi There...
I was in deep thought about a square aspect.
I understand that it is 90 degrees. I guess what I am not understanding is that if there are two given bodies...let's say Venus and Saturn in your natal chart...How can only two planets form a square...what is the third point that it is square to?
To my understanding...if I am reading a natal chart that shows a square from Venus to Saturn at the time of birth...it is happening in the heavens at that given time and place.
Let's say from Leo to Scorpio...Where is the square(90 degrees) formed in relationship to one another?
Thank you in advance.

Angelica [ wildTstarsyahoo.com ] (visiting www.astro.com)
Malverne, USA --- Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 07:16 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: It is a traditional manner of speaking. The correct term would be 'square aspect'. The line between the two planets is only one side of a hypothetical square which would be formed if there where two other planets for the other corners. Then you get a 'grand square'.

The manner of speaking derives form the figure which you get if you divide a full circle into pieces of 90 degrees. Same for dividing the circle into pieces of 120 degrees which form a 'grand trine'.

Hello there, and thank you for a great

Rebecca (visiting www.astro.com)
--- Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 02:23 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: Please call up your chart drawing and look at it. The daily rotation of the sky is from east to west, i.e. if you keep the horizontal AC-DC line fixed, the zodiac with the planets rotates clockwise.

Now you can see whether Venus rises before the Sun (if it is in clockwise direction before the Sun), or whether it rises after the Sun (it is in clockwise direction after the Sun). If Venus rises before the Sun, it is the morning star, if it rises (and sets) after the Sun, it is the evening star.

Rising == crossing the horizontal AC line in a clockwise movement from below.

Setting == crossing the horizontal DC line in a clockwise movement from above.

By the way, the customer cannot choose the currency for his/her orders. It is determined automatically depending on the country of residence, i.e. the shipping address. CHF applies for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, EUR applies for all European countries, USD applies for the 'rest of the world'.

A better idea might be: try to barter your own services locally in your environment, to raise the money for the desired purchase.

Liz Greene's Psychological Horoscope is the Mercedes Benz of computer horoscopes. It is very good to have one, but not essential for your survival.

I studied astrology with a French astrologer and learned all about Lilith (the black moon). When I came back to the U.S., I found information on a different Lilith, not the apogee of the moon, as used in France. Is there any possibility of including that particular Lilith in your database? It's very telling to know how Lilith is affecting you, as far as daily transits go. Your site is terrific. Thanks!!

Phyllis Light (visiting www.astro.com)
Austin, TX, USA --- Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 06:42 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: Please go to the Swiss Ephemeris test page, and use the letter 'w' in the planet selection (or the letter 'a') to get Waldemath's "dark moon". I think this fictious object should be called only with the name of its inventor Waldemath, in order to reduce the confusion with the commonly used Lunar Apogee "Black Moon Lilith".

For more details regarding the use of this test page, see below my answer of 15-mar-2002.

My colleague Dieter Koch has recently done some research into Waldemath's work. It is commonly known the ephemeris published by Delphine Jay for this fictious object is simply wrong. The calculation in Solar Fire is also wrong because Solar Fire's author Graham Dawson misinterpreted a term in Waldemath's publication. One can argue about the word 'wrong' for a non-observable fictious object. At least we can claim that the Swiss Ephemeris 'dark moon' agrees with the inventor's published data.

I love reading my daily horoscope but have often wondered since you have my exact birth time etc., when I read for instance, Moon trine Saturn, is it taking into account the fact that my Moon is in Leo in the 12th house, and that my Saturn is in Scorpio in the 3rd house, or is it just a generic description of Moon trine Saturn that would apply to anyone? Thank you I love your site.

Jayne Liberty [ jaynelibertyhotmail.com ] (visiting www.astro.com)
Port Townsend, WA, USA --- Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 05:58 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: It is what you call a generic description of this transiting aspect. By the way, Moon trine Saturn has not much to do with your natal Moon, it is when the real Moon on the sky forms a trine aspect to the natal position of your Saturn. It relates indirectly only to your natal Moon in the sense that particular transits are considered more relevant if they repeat an issue which is already in your natal chart, e.g. a Moon-Saturn aspect of your natal chart.

As it is, there are about 0ne thousand combinations of two planets by the different aspects. This makes up something like a 500 page book, a work which a good author can handle. If you imagine to modify each description by the house and sign of planet A, and the house and sign of planet B, then you get 12 * 12 * 12 * 12 = 20'736 variants of each transit, or approximately 20 million variants alltogether, making up 10 million pages. No human author can write that, and we are not yet as advanced in technology that a computer could synthesize a sufficiently meaningful text which gives us the feeling of being understood when we read it.

This problem of combinatorial explosion forces us to be content with 'generic descriptions'. An excellent author like Robert Hand, who wrote most of the text we use in the daily horoscope, can evoke deep understanding of the meaning of the two archetypal symbols which meet in each particular transit. I have seen several attempts of other authors to write more text, e.g. differentiated by sign or by house of each aspect. This is a tremendous amount of work, even when you do only the houses, i.e. a 12 x 12 = 144 fold variation of each aspect. The results I have seen where poor quality writing with a lot of stereotyping and 'staleness'. No good author will want to waste his/her live with writing hundreds of thousands of transit paragraphs. He/she would get totally dry and stale in the process. Don't even think of suggesting to replace this with a collective effort. Good writing is an art and requires talent and deep understanding. A collective of volunteers cannot create a meaningful work of art of that kind.

After checking the ephemeris, I find that the moon is at 22 Taurus instead of 22 Sag. (102568}1:15pm Detroit MI) Could I be misinterpreting moon at natal angle?

Steven Davis [ dearbornhairyahoo.com ] (visiting www.astro.com)

Moon at natal angle means that the transiting Moon is a the same angular distance from the (transiting) Sun as the natal Moon was from the natal Sun in your birth chart. The Moon is in exactly the same phase as it was at your birth, with phase being any odd phase angle.

Greene's article on the generation gap was most insightful. As an early emmisary of the X generation, I felt invisible to most boomers. They were always so busy rebeling against the Pluto in Cancer generation, and then busy nurturing the Pluto in Libra generation that us Pluto in Virgo people were invisible and rarely given parts in their Grand Drama of Regeneration. Special Birth Date Entry

Chart of the Moment

Years before 100 A.D.
When entering a year, you can usually omit the two first digits of the year number. E.g., a year value "79" will be interpreted as "1979". If the year 79 A.D. is required, you will have to enter "079". For the year 5 A.D. please enter "005".

The program usually assumes Gregorian calendar dates. If a Julian calendar date is required, please, enter "jul" after the year number, e.g. "1066 jul". For most historical data before the year 1582 you will want to enter "jul".

We have decided not to take care of the calendar switch by an automatic feature. Many history books have converted historical dates to the Gregorian system, while other sources have kept the dates in the original Julian system. There is no way for our computer to know what your source of the birth data did in regard to this calendar conversion.

Years B.C. have to be entered as negative numbers. Attention, the astronomical year counting is to be used. The historical year 3 B.C. is -2 in the astronomical counting style. The difference arises from the fact that the historical counting style has no year zero, while the astronomical style allows for the year zero.

Alois adds: This is a situation where it would be an excellent idea to order Liz Greene's report 'Career and Vocation'. At 46.95 EUR it is not cheap but it is worth it. Alternatively, please look for a good astrologer in the area where you live. Ask around who is good, do not go for advertising. The best astrologers tend not to advertise their services, they get their clients by recommendation from happy customers.

Of course, a young astrologer starting up a practice may have no choice but to advertise, and he/she might be very good as well.

Dear Alois,

Firstly, congratulations thanks for such a great site which I use regularly have done for years now. The new Astroclick portrait is fantastic sooooooooo accurate, it prompts some questions.

Why is our personality - more often than not -life directions governed by the planets to a large degree? Of course I've asked this question of myself all I can think of is that we are basically made of the same matter as the universe itself therefore affected by the planetary influences. Do you have an explanation?

This prompts another question. As our lives personality seem to be so fixed at birth, does this mean that our lives are preordained? Are we meant to be born at a certain time deal with those positives negatives that appear in our natal charts? If so, is each life a learning experience for the soul? How does astrology fit in with the theory of reincarnation?

I know astrology is an ancient science, but how did they figure it all out? It's not like they could do polls or questionaires like we can today. How did they learn that if you were born at a certain time you would have these personality traits if you were born 30 mins later, (or even 15 I've discovered!), you'd be different? How do you account for twins who are born within minutes of each other yet are quite different in many ways?

OK, I know you're not God but I'd be interested in any explanations you could give or maybe recommend a book I could read. Sorry about all the questions - I did only start out with one, but then my mind got going!

Kind Regards,
Rebecca

Hi there,
Great site, great profiling... But I've got a little trouble with the forecast/daily section. Even though I don't like the usual soothsaying type of astro-forecasting, I have to say sometimes yours are a bit scary! I got into a big powerstruggle/showdown at work, which was still is mentioned in my forecast for a very long time to come, but I am not too sure wether that was planetary influence or my believing (uncomfortably) that it would happen and so it did... I might have to just stop reading them I guess! But thanks anyway for a real astro-site!

Alois adds: In a case like yours I would recommend to read the forecast only a day late, to help you understand what is going on. The mechanism of 'self-fulfilling prophecy' is well known and if you tend to be afflicted by it, you might have to stay away from forecasts.

Lisa Greene, I've read my astro-reading and if their is any action I need to take to render all the work thats been undertaken for the past years, please guide me..I don't want our work to be in vain.I want to help people rich/poor in anyway possible..My existance has some meaning, and I realize that..I'm willing to do anything..Please help..!I understand about payment, but I really do want to do the right thing for myself and others...Thanks,and God Bless..

1/ Thank you! Astro.com is a wonderful resource.
2/ I cannot find the code number for HADES
and I am presently trying to understand what a professional
astrologer noted on Hades in my chart, that it explained WHY
a number of relations are DARK (indeed - bad intentioned).
Would you care to send the HADES code to
megamaxabacom.com
Thank you in advance and congratulations: the programming level for your site must be very demanding. The general design
could hardly be improved upon and it is relatively easy to use.

SHERBROOKE, Canada --- Friday, March 15, 2002 at 22:05 Universal Time (UT/GMT)

Alois adds: Thanks for the feedback. There is no asteroid named Hades; this is probably due to the fact that the Roman god PLUTO and the Greek god HADES are considered to be the same.

The 'Hamburg school of astrology' uses 8 fictious (completely invented, not astronomically real) objects which they call transneptunian planets. Among those they have a Hades.

We do not include fictious objects in Astrodienst charts. However, we know about the formula for most fictious objects, and Swiss Ephemeris can compute their fictious position. If you use the Swiss Ephemeris test page and enter the letter 'a' into planet selection, you get the Hamburg school fictious planets listed for any date you like. You need to draw them into your chart by hand. By using the proper options of this page, you can prepare an ephemeris for any of those objects and print it out.

To get a 10-year ephemeris for Hades with a 10-day step (sufficient because the object is slow), you need to fill in the form like this:
start date: as desired
steps -n: 365
stepsize -s: 10
planet selection -p: K
output format -f: PTZ
other options: -roundsec

By the way, for Ceres it would be the letter 'F'. Please click on the link above the form fields to get a listing of all options.

You can also download the swetest.exe program at ftp://ftp.astro.com and use it locally on your PC. It is a very powerful command-line tool. For fictious objects you need not download any additional ephemeris files. For real asteroids, you need to download the appropriate ephemeris files out of a selection of 37'526, the current count of officially numbered asteroids. Asteroid #3045 is of particular interest ;-)

Only a few main stream asteroids have a special letter for planet selection assigned. The others are accessed by number, e.g:
planet selection -p: s
other options: -xs3045

An opposition of planets is often disharmonious, but the tension can also be positive in the end.
My question is what is the explanation of moon opposite mars? in your paper it's warfare.
Is this the explanation?

Hallo Alois,

Astrodienst,

I would like to thank you for your totally brilliant psychological horoscope analysis of my husband that arrived yesterday. We now have one each and they are real gems. We have been together 27 years so it is with amused interest that I read how right' we are for each other.

Both the charts are very compatible with the information we have already about ourselves from Ennneagram and Myers Briggs but Liz Green's analysis is very specially personal as there are things written that are more individual somehow and I would reccomend astrodienest products unreservedly to anyone.

Thank you again,

Alois adds: Please use one of two ways:

a) write a regular email to orderastro.com and say: Please send me the reverse Relationship Horoscope (TPR) for xxxxx where xxxx is the number shown in the front window of the report you have already.

b) go to 'Astro Shop' and click on 'order it' for the relationship horoscope. You get to the screen 'Astro shop - Enter item details'. Do NOT press the OK button yet. Look above in your browser where you see the URL, it looks like: http://www.astro.com/cgi/sde.cgi?lang=e&spci=tp&act=add
See the part: spci=tp&
Now please change it to read: spci=tpr& (add the 'r' after 'tp')
Now press the ENTER key.
The screen item should change to 'Relationship Horoscope (red.) and the price should be reduced. Please select the two persons in such a way that the person to which the report should be addressed is the first one on top. Once everything is right, please press the OK button.

Obviously, option a) is much simpler. We have chosen not to offer the reduced price copy openly in the shop, because it would be complicated to deal with clients who would try to order the reduced price copy without ordering the full price copy first. The concept of the two copies is difficult to explain when you have not read the report first.

I have a question concerning the presentation of the chart, it a little thing but still. At the right bottom, where we see the Cardinal, Fixe, Mutable, and the four elements, I always wonder why the presentation of the elements does not follow a pragmatic suite. Should'nt the earth be first with the water above and the air above still as the fire is on top. ? Being a Virgo with 5 planets in the 6, one observes such things. I think this is a excellent web site with many insights to be made into the fundamental make-up of human personalities. I am often driven to understand things when they are in motion. I was wondering about the possibility to extend the free interactive charts by using motion. Perhaps one of your new programmer could make it so that when one insert the usual information to get a natal chart and new motion options, one would see the actual movement of the components over the houses at the speed one wants to view them (i.e. 1 sec = 1-10 month/days/years).
