I am incredibly impressed with this website!
For years I was learning how to create natal charts on my own and was never sure if I was actually doing it right. (I was!) I appriciate this website very much because I know what goes into finding all the info. (Isn't it a bitch to find the proper placidus houses by hand!) Plus, its all free which makes me very happy!

I was very intrigued by you world map charts but they did not show the decendents or the I.C. which can be very valuable. Also, I had some trouble reading the actual locations since the map is so small. Could you make a map that includes the names of cities? A noble site this is.... with the current trend in astrological exploitation and capitalistic gypsys it's nice to know there really are calms in the storm... I appreciate the accuracy of the service and also the fact that it's free...

When I started constructing charts back in 1966 I never dreamed that computers would one day lighten the burden of chart reference and computation. Even into the modern day, until I discovered your ACCURATE and INCLUSIVE service, there was always the question ... is this atlas accurate or do I follow the different coordinates I see listed in another.

This site is just terrific, particularly for those of us just starting our long, long journey into the study of astrology. My only criticism is that a biwheel format would be ever so much easier to read on a natal/progressed or other such combined charts! This web page is very helpful. I have just one suggestion: The format which you use for expressing latitude and longitude is different from the format commonly used in the USA. Please provide an explanation somewhere on your web page explaining how someone in the USA should understand a latidude of 42n29. Does 42n29 mean the same as 42 deg 29 min North? Thanks.

I always visit your site to locate a City, update the Timezone and then take a look at the Astromap. Afterwards I go into the software of Jim Lewis and soom in on specific countries, which can't be seen very clearly in your site. I was surprised to realize that now they are totally different!? Instead of, for example, +1:00 GMT, I would have to put in -1:00 GMT to obtain the same picture. Why is that? It is very recent, let's say, a month, before that they were identical. Have you changed something in your program? I'd like to think that the software from Jim is the correct one, am I right?

The chart service is wonderful, but please note that in Egypt we do have a summertime zone, which means that we are now GMT +3 (not +2), this used to be from 1 May to 1 October, but in recent years has started late April until late September, depending on the weekends.
Please can you check the details in the program for adjusting the time zone

No one knows my exact birth time, just sometime between 4 nd 6 PM Cleveland, Ohio time on Sept. 17, 1956. The Hospital caught fire a long, long time ago and those records are lost seemingly forever. How good a Natal chart can I get from this?

First, let me thank you for the wonderful service that you provide. Since my home computer went down (taking my astrology program with it) this is the only site that I know of that provides the charts for free, without the interpretation (I like that by the way).
Second, I do have a small problem. I do not know if I messed up on input or what, but I was attempting a progressed chart and when it came on screen it stated that sun is in Cancer. I thought that on May 5, 1999 (today) the sun would be in Taurus. If you could check on this and tell me why it happened, I would really appreciate it. Thank you again.

corresponds to one day in the ephemeris'. If you are now 30 years old, a
progressed horoscope (for now) for you will be the chart from 30 days after
your birth.

When I input 8-23-47, 4:48p.m. St. Louis, MO. USA. I come up with a 7deg. ASC, instead of a 23deg.ASC. Is this program taking into account daylight savings time? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ich habe folgende Zeitzonenberechnung durchgeführt:
Landsberg am Lech; 23.Okt. 1994
7.06 Uhr.
Die Berechnung ergab einen Aszendenten Scorpion. Die Sonne steht im Zeichen Waage.
Nun folgen Waage und Scorpion direkt aufeinander, was bedeutet, daß kurz vorher Neumond gewesen sein muß.
Laut meinem Mondkalender ist Neumond aber erst am 3.11.1994. Somit kann am 23.10.94 der Aszendent nicht Scorpion gewesen sein. (Lt. meinem Kalender müßte es entweder Stier wahrscheinlich aber Zwilling sein.
Was stimmt nun???

Der Aszendent ist der in jedem Moment gerade aufgehende Grad des Tierkreises
(von lat. ascendere, aufsteigen; siehe auch oben 'Astro Lexikon', ascendant eintippen).
Zur Feststellung der Mondphase müssen Sie die Sonnen- und Mondposition
vergleichen, nicht die Sonnenposition und den Aszendent.
Die Mondposition an obigem Datum ist 10 Grad Zwillinge, Mondphase ist
etwa 220 Grad (Distanz von Mond zurück zu Sonne).
A superb help in my new line of work - Thank you. However I find in my reading of NZ history that the daylight saving times changed radically from 1926 until today. At times it was off meridian 172.30 until 1946 and only 1/2 hour change;then they did not have daylight saving until 1973; and now it's worked off 180.00E and it's a 1 hour change . Is all this information added into your calculations when I check the timezone on your programme ? Once again , a HUGE thank you for the use of this websheet.
