i have great difficulty understanding the sign/house dispositor chart, how's it read or if it is too lengthy or difficult to understand, can anyone point a good book to read! anyway i've recently read astrology really works! by magi society, anybody know of them and of course i've some questions of the many new concepts they've introduced - trust me, i've went thru' it umptee times. Of course, if's there's electional astrology and transits - which transits are good for investments and which are for gambling, and which for betting, say soccer, horseracing and the like? are they all the same and if yes any way of getting good accurate readings? you see as i'm over at the wrong end of the continent, i've great difficulty getting help from the magi society and of course astrology in general here! any help here?

Hi! Was there any time back in 1955-1956 that Uranus fell into the sign of Leo and then back into the sign of Cancer. From the software, I retrieved two charts. The one 1955, Uranus was in the sign of Leo and the chart of 1956, Uranus showed it was in the sign of Cancer. Do you have any information on this or did I make an error? I have moved to a different continent since my birth.However in the free transit and progressed chart you don't have reflections of such changes. Does it mean than the charts I have obtained /natale-progressed for today and transits for today/ are not true for my new place of residency? If so, can I obtain true charts and how?

I see the site, like just about every other, uses Astrolog! Walter Pullen has written a good little program - shame there's no proper Macintosh interface except the command-line interface. I checked the results of Astrolog against Michelsen's ephemeris - and it really is incredibly accurate!

The best way of karma mending that I´ve come across is to become one with whatever is right here, right now. To melt in awareness with whatever live brings. Naturally feels good to accomplish good karma, but however good your karma may become, it`s always in danger. What is good can become bad again.....and what really is good and bad is a profound question that philosophers down through the ages couldn`t really fully answer.
But to see, that our awareness is always here now,
and to remember this fact in everything that we do, during the whole day - no matter how often we fall asleep again and forget - slowly leads us to our true nature. different ways down the ages flowrished and found their fulfillment to help us to understand as well.

High School Massacre in Littleton, near Denver/Colorado/USA. Due to the ARD/ZDF - Videotext (Information service of the two main german TV-stations ), the tragic incident happened on the 20th of April 1999 at 11.30 local time in
Littleton near Denver. With the help of the "free
chart"-programme on this precious homepage i`ve just made the chart for the massacre. I have a few doubts about whether the ascendant given by the chart programme is correct. Maybe someone of you folks out there has an astrology-programme on his PC and can verify the ascendant and share his insight with us.

Thanks for your site, and the free chart calculation, which was for an internet friend recently divorced and now starting a new relationship and wanting some clarification and re-assurance. I think that I have figured out why some people are getting "the wrong" reading on ascendent and house placement. When I register my birthdate and time of birth, 9/7/71 at 10.15 P.M., the time is registered as EDT, Eastern Daylight Time. It should actually be EST, Eastern Standard Time. Daylight savings time is during the Winter months. It appears that the corrections for this shift in time are reversed in your program. I believe this is what accounts for the incorrect ascendent and plantary shift in the houses that people have been writing in about.

in the summer months (in Europe it is called Summer Time), except for
odd cases like war or oil crisis years.
Our system is correct and works well. Time should be entered as it was
shown at a clock on the wall or a wrist watch at the time of birth.
All necessary timezone and daylight time corrections are then applied
automatically.
It's a great site for astro-nuts!!!,but for the novice it is requested that the complete details for various symbols are made known to the surfer.

ich zwei aktuelle Fälle von vermissten Mädchen, mit den Daten ihres Verschwindens mitgeteilt.

A few days ago I was deeply touched about a TV
report on "missing children". During this report
I got hold of two dates on two of the cases
running at the moment. If you decide to concider
the dates I`m sharing with you here, I would like
to ask you only to share your insights and
revelations (especially when you decide to support
the official search by the german police dpts )
if you have a) profound astrological knowledge
and b) feeling and responsability for the whole
situation. First, because I can imagine that the
families of these children are in deep emotional
pain - and what they least need is some amateur-
astrologer calling them up and telling them
some hard truth or whatever about what`s happened
to their child. And then of corse the vague rest
of openness that official organs (police etc. )
might have in concidering astrological knowledge
in their researches on their cases, may seriously
be damaged, if astrologers do not have real sub-
stancial inspiration to offer, that makes sense
for them as well.
Both children are missed in Germany.
I do not yet at this moment know of the birthdates
of them. The data given here shows the moment
where they "got lost"
Case No.1
Hilal Ercan
The ten year old turkish girl lives in Hamburg
---- disappeared on the 27th of January 1999
close to 13.30 Middle European Summer Time
( that is 11.30 GMT ) in Hamburg.
Although a widespread police search and
a lot of flyers her father posted in whole
Hamburg no trace of her was found so far.
Case 2
Deborah (Debbie) Sasse
On the day she disappeared she was 8 years old,
today she`s 11. She lived in Düsseldorf.
---- disappeared on her way home from a swimming
lesson on the 13th of February 1996 at
about 12.00 MEZ (11.00 GMT)
---- there was no trace of her until the 14th of
April 1999 when a big german tabloid paper
showed the picture of a young girl with
make up on, sitting on a chair undressed.
Some dutch hunters of pädophiles have found
that picture on the internet. The similarity
to an old picture of Debbie is obviously
and her mother stated, that this picture
shows her daughter and noone else.
So maybe there is some insight anyone of you out
there has on these charts. There should be a forum
somewhere to discuss matters of that kind and
be helpful if possible.
There is a homepage "www.vermisste-kinder.de" , but it`s quality - especcialy of the given infor-
mations - is low. They should be inspired to give
the full astrological background data......
O.k. maybe anyone who feels that girls and woman
should not be in the hands of psychopaths, can
provide some insight....and maybe helps solving
a case and helps one of these girls find her difficult way out of a traumatic situation
like that back to their families.

Thank you for your excellent web site. I was most impressed with the high quality of the chart analysis and the millenium forecast I received: Ms. Greene's work was outstanding as usual.
The millenium forecast did not contain any specific reference to Canada. Do you foresee preparing an analysis for Canada's projections for the next five years in the near future? If so which date would you use: the British Parliament passed the BNA Act on March 29, 1867 at 12:00pm Ottawa time but the Constitution came into force on July 1 1867 midnight. If/when you do an analysis for Canada, could you please put me on your mailing list.

Are the natal charts adjusted to compensate for daylight savings time? I am assuming that they are. Also is it possible to get a progressed chart reading for a particular date, manually set by myself, as opposed to just getting the automatic reading for today. this would be very helpful.

Nach meiner Anfrage am 9.12.98 ( ich wünschte mir ein langfristiges Horoskop - wußte nicht , welches dafür am besten geeignet sei. Sie rieten mir zum Horoskop 2000 !) , habe ich mir dieses eben genannte Horoskop anfertigen lassen. Es ist sehr spannend zu lesen, aber für mich, als " Anfänger " in der Astrologie wegen der verschiedenen , gleichzeitigen Möglichkeiten doch irgendwie fast schon irreführend , was keinesfalls negativ klingen soll. Ich habe es einige Male gelesen, ehe ich den richtigen Sinn verstanden habe , ich hoffe es !!! Geben Sie mir doch bitte einen oder mehrere Ratschläge , wie ich es richtig für mich lese , bzw. deute . Es ist das allererste Mal , daß ich etwas derartiges über mich gelesen habe , und es hat mich derart fasziniert , daß ich noch viel mehr und intensiver wissen wollte. Ich möchte gerne alles für mich aus diesem Text heraus holen. Sie haben in einem Interview o.ä. von diesem Psychologischen Horoskop berichtet , daß noch etwas intensiver sei ! I wanted to find the lattitude and longitude of Ichinomiya, Aichi-ken. Unfortunately, you listed seven Ichinomiyas without realizing that each Ichinomiya has a prefecture. For example, Aichi-ken means Aichi Prefecture. Is it possible for you to refine this. At this point I have no idea which Ichinomiya to use. Thanks for your free service.

I have just changed internet provider, and to my great disappointment it now takes about 20 minutes to load a chart. I do not understand why this is. Do Virgin use software that is incompatible with your computer?. I am teaching myself astrology and this is my favorite site (thank you very much for this service). Has anyone else got this problem?

WHEN I ENTERED MY BIRTH DATA (7/25/'42,9:24AM, WARTIME) For WICHITA, KANSAS, USA. the resulting chart was incorrect.It displayed a Virgo Midheaven instead of the correct Gemini. So of course the Sun was not in my 11th house.

This is a great site, I come here all the time, and this is the first time I've ever had a "problem". I need to enter the longitude and latitude of a point in the middle of the North Atlantic. Why not make it possible to enter the geographical coordinates of a place that is not otherwise in your atlas, perhaps in the "select a chart" page, or using some escape character and very specific format string in the place search, e.g. %45:45:00N %48:00:00W. You could hide the directions so that people that didn't need to use it didn't know the potential existed. The ability to enter Universal time would be useful, too. Your Web site is really great. Provision of natal and other charts freely is a great service. I cross-checked your calculations of planetary positions with Indian system (Siderial) and they match perfectly. Congratulations for the excellent job done; and thanks for saving time for others in drawing charts.
One or two minor suggestions: A simple explanation may please be provided for (i)House systems, Placadius, Merdian, Vedic etc. For example, my crosschecking of your charts with the Indian ephimaries tallied with 'Placadius' system and not with Vedic system. That is surprising for me!
(ii)Natal charts and transit charts etc. are easy to understand; but not many others. What exactly do these (several unfamiliar)charts mean? (iii)the extents or durations of the 12 zodiac signs (Lagna/Rasi Pramanams - in Sanskrit) at various lattitudes & longitudes.

Thank you for your prompt reply to my question about not having the birth time...I have called and in our city between the years, 1950 and 1960 the birth time was for some reason not recorded on anything, anywhere...so now, can I still do some kind of a chart without this info?????

However, registration of birth time is required by law in the US, and has
been so since the begin of the century. I would
not accept a phone answer by some clerk who may just be to lazy or ignorant
to check the matter in depth.
If your mother is alive, sit down with her in a quiet hour and try to
re-live the day of your birth, going through all the details. You may be able
to get at least on idea of the time of the day when you finally were born.
If you are born in a hospital which still exists, there may also be records
there.
Every source I check gives me a different Ascendent. An astrologist told me Cancer, a reference book said Leo, another web site calculator said Capricorn! Yikes! I am going to assume there is something I am missing, as I am very new to all this. Any suggestions?

Love the site - just amazing to be able to access the charts I want so quickly. I myself have no planets in 'air" signs but 6 in "water". Is this a bit strange? In fact my husband and 3 daughters all seem to have all predominately water signs - should this make us all fairly campatible. Also - my daughter (a Sag) has 6 planets in "water" signs - 5 of which are Scorpio - is this going to make her a bit of a handful??? thanking you for any assistance you can give.
