Ich finde diese Seite ausgezeichnet. Falls ich einmal einen Ort in meiner Datenbank nicht finden kann, habe ich hier sicher die Möglichkeit, den Ort zu finden. Hier hat auch jeder die Möglichkeit, sein eigenes Horoskop zu drucken, ohne selbst die Software zu haben. Ich bin auch erstaunt über die Genauigkeit der Berechnung. Als Astrologe finde ich die Idee ausgezeichnet.

I have used your charting service for about one month. fascinating. When I enter Bialystok, Poland as the city, and 31 AUG 1959, 12:00 midnight, I get a request to enter the date and time again , except, without the month and hour! It displays a chart but the info paragraph does not display a location! what am I doing wrong. I love your service. The above chart request is for my friend, I was born in Rheine, Wesfalein.

Read about your Website in the Sunday Seattle Times thought I give a peek. They gave your name as Astrostar? Is that the same as Astodienst? Confussing when you don't speak the language.
The Times also stated that you had Lottery forcasts? although I couldn't find any hint of it. If you do where would I find it?
All in All your site looks good I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to astrology,but have a respect for some of it's conclutions.
Another thing is I have a vauge Idea of my time of birth but that's about it. so I guess I'd better find out. It seem to bee a pertinet piece of information.

Alois adds: I am not sure that I understand the question. If you use a short
city search string, the answer list contains 'xx' for the minutes. This is
a little defense against systematically extracting all database content
with a sequence of short search strings like 'aaa', 'aab', 'aac' etc.
If you click on a place in the list, you always get the timezone page for
this place and it contains the full coordinates with minutes and sometimes
seconds.
I try again. I didn't write my adress corectly last time. What does the "planet" chiron indicate in the horoskope. I don't find anything about it in my (old)astrologybooks, and where is it located in relation to the another planets in the solarsystem? And again, thanks. I am glad that i did found this site.

Greenwich time is a name for the worldwide timezone basis of the
Greenwich observatory, now called Universal Time, previously called
Greenwich Mean Time.
The actual time used in England is a different matter; in winter they use
GMT, in summer they use GMT + 1 hour east.

Fab page thanks. Quick question - probably very stupid one too. What is the relation between Universal Time and GMT? When I put in 0305 hours, Edinburgh, Scotland, 23 Sep 1969 I get a Universal Time Clock showing 0205 hours and a wee bubble showing 1he Std. I've read and re-read the section on the clock, time, and wee bubble thing but as I understand it Universal time and GMT are the same so why do I keep getting 1he std when Edinburgh is on GMT (or was it different in 1969?) Sorry if this is a really stupid question and thanks for taking the time to read it.

In summer, the UK is on daylight savings time, 1 hour east of GMT. Between
1968 and oct 31 1971, the UK was permanently on Central European time but
they went back to the old schedule in 1972, with winter on GMT and summer
on Central European time.
GMT and Universal Time is the same; GMT is the older expression from
times when England ruled a large part of the world.
This is absolutely an interesting site!

around 2 years ago I input my birth date and time
information. at that time it told me that my
ascendant was in scorpio. when i worked through
the math calculations myself, i came up with the
same result. now when i run the same information
into your database i am told that my asc is in Libra. which is correct?

Alois: Yes, this is correct, our system does daylight savings time and war time
corrections automatically for all times and all places of the world.

you can ABSOLUTELY rely on the result of our service. If the charts shows
the correct date and time, the planetary positions are correct to the second!
The only source of error is entering incorrect dates by the user.

Alois adds: Your Moon is at 11 GEMINI if your are born in 1981, but if you
entered the year 81, your got the Moon at 18 Sagittarius, assuming you are now 1917
years old and probably go under the name Methusalem.
As you have not been the first one who entered a year number 81 instead of 1981
we decided to change the software. Now all year entries between 1 and 99 are
interpreted as 1901 to 1999. If you really want the year 81 AD, you now have
to enter it with a leading zero as '081'.
I should have thought of this software fix earlier! After all, I have been
preaching this user interface feature to other programmers for years.
To learn how to enter years in the BC era,
please click on the timezone map and read
the bottom of the explanations page. Basically, one must enter years in
astronomical style as negative numbers, with 1 BC becoming the year zero,
2 BC becoming -1, etc. Astronomical year number style is different from
historical year number style.

I ran a chart on astrolog and thought it was wrong because the sun is in the 11 th house and the birth time is only 7:35am. So I came here and the same thing occured the data is below. Can you explain to me why the Sun is in the 11 th House With Koch houses Taurus is intercepted in the 11 hs too.

I ran your chart on our server, and get Ascendant 5 Cancer, and the Sun
at 24 Taurus near the end of the 11th house.
This is not unusual, as sunrise was at 5:02 am at this place on that date,
and your birth is two and a half hours after sunrise. There was no daylight
savings time on this date.
By the way, to determine sunrise, you play around with the time until
the Sun and the position of the ascendant are identical.
