The artist about her work:

Painting means to me a journey into the unknown. My quest is to search for the symbolic content of every-day objects. Change, fading away and becoming new is everywhere. Things, forms and bodies in my paintings often come out only after an effort, sometimes painfull, sometimes joyful. It is like excavating the images.

About the technique

The paintings are created with a mixture of techniques. Oil, graphite, chalk, natural colour pigments like stone dust, sand, earth. Integration of found objects. I work on paper, cardboard or canvas.
