Beginning of May 2012 until beginning of December 2014: Inflated expectations, excessive and impractical idealism and sudden disappointments are among the dangers of this period, if you do not make a concerted effort to keep your feet on the ground. This influence makes you feel that nothing can defeat you. You feel tremendously lucky and are inclined to take foolish risks that you wouldn't normally take, especially financial risks. But any form of speculation or gambling is extremely risky under this influence and should be avoided altogether. By the same token you should be careful that this foolish overconfidence does not make you overlook factors in your job or home life, for example, that could trip you up and cause serious problems. But be particularly careful not to overextend yourself financially.

This influence arouses your intrinsic idealism. The limitations of the real world may seem very difficult to bear, because you so badly want the world to be better. This feeling may lead you into involvements with some extreme religious, spiritual or mystical sect. Although it may be a perfectly constructive group, it is not very good for you now, because you are not approaching it with a realistic idea of what you can get from it. You have to deal with this universe before you can leave it. Study religion or mysticism if you want, but don't make any commitments that will prove to be a trap when this period is over.

This influence stimulates and arouses your compassion for others. You want to help people out and share whatever good fortune you have. But make sure that the people you are assisting will get some real benefit from your efforts. Saturn conjunction Mercury: Thinking small

Beginning of November 2012 until mid-August 2013: This is a time of serious, heavy, even pessimistic thinking. Communication with others becomes more significant, but also more difficult. In fact this influence often means saying goodbye. You take life more seriously than usual and look at things more seriously, but you run the risk of losing your sense of perspective.

Your mental and intellectual viewpoint is narrowed by this influence. You are likely to concern yourself with a smaller range of ideas, but you are more likely to think about them thoroughly. You are beginning a major new cycle of ideas and opinions, of communicating in new ways. This consumes your mental energy and limits your ability to range over a large number of topics. Also you root out old ideas and notions that have outlived their usefulness in your life. Your mind is very disciplined, but with this discipline and narrowing of focus there is the danger of thinking too narrowly. You may overlook important alternatives because of your tendency to concentrate single-mindedly at this time. Also, with your tendency toward depressed thoughts you may overlook possibilities that seem too idealistic or risky; probably they are not at all - it is just that you are thinking "small."

Nevertheless this is an excellent time for working a single idea through completely, planning very carefully and realizing ideas that can have important consequences many years from now.

When dealing with yourself and others, be careful that you do not become too concerned with an unattainable perfection. One effect of the this influence can be to make you too exacting and critical, with the result that you alienate others.

Neptune trine Mercury: Intellect and intuition

End of March 2013 until mid-January 2015: This is one of the most imaginative periods of your life in a positive way. Your mind will be able to create with unusual facility, but you will still be able to distinguish between reality and the products of your imagination. If you have ever wanted to write prose or poetry, this is the time to try, although success in this area requires some indication of writing ability in the birth chart.

This influence signifies one of the few times in life when the rational intellect and the intuitive and feeling functions are able to work as a team. For most people these two areas of the mind usually operate at cross-purposes. But now they can cooperate, which is what makes this such a fertile time.

Fortunately, the intuitive sensitivity stimulated by this influence extends to your relationships with others. You understand what people are thinking with much less verbal communication than usual, almost as if you can look into their minds and see what is happening there. Consequently your efforts to communicate with others will be much more effective now. Others will understand and appreciate the fact that you understand them.

You are likely to take an intellectual interest in metaphysical and spiritual subjects at this time, and your innate psychic abilities may be manifested. But your approach to these subjects is a bit different from most people's. You demand that spiritual matters make sense to you intellectually as well as intuitively. You want to know, not merely to believe. But your newly intuitive sensibility tells you that there are limits to understanding through rational intellect. Your understanding of almost any subject is greatly heightened by this influence.

Jupiter square Pluto: In a tight spot

From 19 May 2013 until 28 May 2013: This influence can have the effect of arousing your ambition to achieve great things. You feel as if your energies could carry you higher and farther than usual, and you are willing to strive for power and success. But your efforts may run into considerable resistance from others, especially if you are not completely scrupulous about your methods. This time can bring you success and social standing, but it also can deprive you of these. Instead of gaining power, you may simply provoke conflict with those who are in power, sometimes quite innocently. You may have no intention of challenging anyone, yet you find yourself in a tight spot with the authorities.

Another manifestation of this energy is that you may become involved with a project to repair or rebuild something. It might be physical property, a neighborhood or a more abstract matter, such as reorganizing or reforming a government, business or other institution. Your aim is to improve, but here again you may encounter opposition from people who do not agree with your ideas or who feel threatened by your actions.

You must avoid becoming obsessed with any plan or course of action, and be particularly ready to reexamine your ideas of right or wrong in any matter. Stand up for what you believe is right, but first make sure that you are right. This influence sometimes can make you feel convinced of a point of view that is actually shaky. You should look at religious, philosophical or metaphysical views very closely. If you wish to lead others to enlightenment, first make very certain of the quality of your own.

From 9 July 2013 until 18 July 2013: This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort - growth in consciousness, in your profession, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important.

But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change.

This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel.

Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now, and this is a good time to expand your business, as long as it is within reason. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly.

Jupiter opposition Mars: In a big way

End of September 2013 until end of May 2014: This is an extremely exuberant influence, which inclines you to do everything in a big way. Your energy level is high, and you are ambitious in everything that you do. You have a great need to expend physical energy, but be careful not to act recklessly. Discipline and restraint are necessary, no matter what you do.

Do not overestimate your abilities, either to yourself or to others. You are capable of doing quite a bit under this influence, so you don't have to exaggerate. It is especially important not to kid yourself about your abilities, however, because you will genuinely try to do the impossible and quite possibly exhaust yourself in the process. For the same reason, don't take unnecessary chances. The feeling of omnipotence that this influence confers is not real, at least not to the extent that you feel it.

Sometimes this influence can signify a conflict with another in which you try to break away from the other's restrictions. It is difficult to say in general whether your estimate of the facts is accurate, that is, whether the other person is really demanding too much or restricting you too much. Therefore you must examine the issue very carefully before you act. You have a great need to be self-assertive at this time, but be sure to reserve it for a situation in which it can be constructive. Avoid acting upon impulse. It could get you into needless trouble.

On the other hand, this influence also confers real courage. The difference between courage and foolhardiness is simple self-knowledge, which you must have in order to make this influence work out positively. If you are cool and collected in what you do, this can be a time of considerable triumph as you overcome obstacles and accomplish deeds that you usually would feel incapable of.
