Beginning of November 2012 until mid-August 2013: During this time you may have to contend with negative moods that can be quite upsetting. This influence often results in confusion, self-doubt, uncertainty and a general tendency to look at life from the worst possible point of view. At its worst, it can make you completely uncertain about what is real in your life, resulting in a sense of fear and free-floating anxiety. However, it is important to remember that this influence usually makes things appear worse than they actually are.

Your confidence and sense of well-being are at a low at this time, and you should not take your own gloomy evaluations too seriously. You seem to be aware of only those facets of life that you are afraid of and totally unaware of those things that can comfort and reinforce you.

Strange as it may seem, there is a constructive side to this period, although most people usually experience the negative side. But if you are very well attuned to your inner needs and secure enough not to be led astray by illusions, even fearful ones, then this influence can give you the ability to make extraordinary self-sacrifices. One effect of this period is to detach you from the material universe. In that case you may become disoriented and afraid, as described already, or you may find that the demands of the material universe no longer concern you particularly, and you can sacrifice your material needs to spiritual needs.

Mid-March 2013 until mid-January 2015: This influence is a chance to examine your life and to see within it the seeds for something greater than you have imagined. This greatness is not in the material realm, nor will it give you power over others. Instead your opportunity is to see your life in a spiritual dimension that you have never before perceived. This can manifest itself in a number of ways.

First of all, you may discover an increased empathy for the people in your everyday life. You can put yourself into another's place in a way that you have never been able to do before; you can see and, more importantly, feel what someone else feels. Consequently you will have more sympathy and compassion for other people's problems.

Your compassion springs from a realization of the essential unity of yourself and all being. For most people, this is not an entirely conscious realization. You may feel an increased involvement with others, but you don't quite know where it has come from. On the other hand, this can be a conscious feeling, in which case you may become more attracted to mystical philosophies and metaphysics, which try to verbalize what you are beginning to experience. You may experience a reawakened interest in religion, even if this has long been dormant in your life. Possibly you may even have a profound psychic or mystical experience.

Even if by temperament you are not inclined to mysticism, you will experience its effects as increased idealism and an increased willingness to work for the kind of world you want to see.

Whatever else may happen, you will feel more capable of selfless actions in your relationships with others. You will be willing to help, seeking little or nothing in return because your own ego seems less important to you now.

Uranus trine Uranus: Setting sail

End of March 2013 until end of February 2014: This influence represents a point when you look back over what you have accomplished in life. You try to evaluate and understand exactly what you have learned and what it means for you personally. It is no longer enough to have the approval of others; you need the approval of yourself as well.

If your life does not stand up to your analysis, you may decide to make certain changes. You may choose a very early retirement from your profession so that you can go off in a completely new direction, one that will give you more personal satisfaction. You will be interested in new ways of dealing with your life that help you succeed purely in your own terms.

No matter what you are doing now and after this time, allow yourself these experiences so you can learn what you need to make your life really fulfilling. In a few years from now, you may have to make much more radical changes then in order to improve your life, if you can make them at all.

Jupiter opposition Mars: In a big way

From 10 June 2013 until 19 June 2013: This is an extremely exuberant influence, which inclines you to do everything in a big way. Your energy level is high, and you are ambitious in everything that you do. You have a great need to expend physical energy, but be careful not to act recklessly. Discipline and restraint are necessary, no matter what you do.

Do not overestimate your abilities, either to yourself or to others. You are capable of doing quite a bit under this influence, so you don't have to exaggerate. It is especially important not to kid yourself about your abilities, however, because you will genuinely try to do the impossible and quite possibly exhaust yourself in the process. For the same reason, don't take unnecessary chances. The feeling of omnipotence that this influence confers is not real, at least not to the extent that you feel it.

Sometimes this influence can signify a conflict with another in which you try to break away from the other's restrictions. It is difficult to say in general whether your estimate of the facts is accurate, that is, whether the other person is really demanding too much or restricting you too much. Therefore you must examine the issue very carefully before you act. You have a great need to be self-assertive at this time, but be sure to reserve it for a situation in which it can be constructive. Avoid acting upon impulse. It could get you into needless trouble.

On the other hand, this influence also confers real courage. You should use this time to gain new perspectives through education or travel or by participating in one of the consciousness raising activities or groups that exist now.

This is a time of psychological and physical equilibrium. If you have recently been ill in either body or mind, this influence will help tremendously with the healing process.

This is also a good time to examine your ideals and your goals, for it may be possible to actualize them in various ways now. At other times there is too much tension in your life or too much resistance from others. If you are involved in any movement for reform, now is a good time to take some positive action. Or you might become more involved in religion or philosophy, because you need to know much that is beyond the apparent order of things.

It is quite possible that you will do nothing during this time, because it gives you a feeling of balance but no drive to do anything in particular. You have an unusual sense of ease and relaxation now. This is also a good time to travel, both for relaxation and for educational reasons.

The important point to remember with this influence is that it is fundamentally an opportunity. You will not feel driven by any energies, nor will you feel any resistance to your efforts to do something. You can make great use of this time, but you have to take the initiative.

Jupiter opposition Mercury: Mind the details

Beginning of October 2013 until beginning of June 2014: This is a time of very big plans and the culmination of many ideas that you have had in the past. It is possible now to make your ideas become reality, as long as you avoid certain pitfalls. In this case the primary problem is to avoid thinking too big or attempting something that is totally grandiose and impractical.

If you can keep track of all of the details that go into a well-thought-out business deal, this is an excellent time to sign contracts or to conclude any kind of commercial transaction, but it is very important not to overlook any details that might affect the outcome. This influence enables you to see the overall patterns in anything and to plan with foresight and wisdom. But if you are not careful, it can also lead to sloppy thinking or planning. It is best to work with someone else who can check over your work or plans and call your attention to anything that you have overlooked.

Projects or plans that began up to six years ago may come to fruition now, but only if you have been careful about details as described above. At any rate, events now will make it clear whether these ideas were based on reality or on pipe dreams. Work out everything in detail and leave as little as possible to chance; this will help you immensely.

Although recognizing the truth of any matter is important to you now, you must deal with others tactfully.
