A transit approaching its end, from end of September 2012, remaining until beginning of May 2013: This influence indicates the beginning of a new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations. You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.

Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the same time you are willing to give more to the world.

This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing. This influence represents a time when you should see whether you are doing that in your life.

Concretely, you can expect persons who are good for you to come into your life. Or circumstances will arise that give you increased freedom or an opportunity to do something that you have never done before. Mid-December 2012 until end of September 2013: This is one of the most important times in your life. A major cycle of experience is closing, and great changes are about to take place. How great these changes are depends largely on what you have been doing with your life over the past several years. Have you been living as you feel you should or as you think others want you to? If you have been doing the latter, this influence will have a greater impact.

This influence occurs about every twenty-nine years. The first such influence occurred when you were about twenty-nine, and the second is now, between your fifty-eighth and sixtieth birthday.

Last year, many aspects of your life have begun to change. Relationships may have changed, and you may have changed your residence or your job; you have been dominated by an urgent feeling that if you don't do everything you have always wanted to do, you will never have another chance. And now, at about fifty-eight, you will feel that a substantial portion of your life has passed and that you had better get on with making it all work. If your relationship is unsatisfactory but you have been making the best of it, you will examine that relationship even more thoroughly now and may decide to end it. Certainly you will have to change it substantially. The same is true of any other aspect of your life that you have tolerated but not found very rewarding.

Consciously or unconsciously, you are pruning your life of everything that is not relevant to what you really are as a human being. If this process is not happening consciously, you may experience a sense of loss for the elements of your life that are coming to an end now. However, do not dwell upon these losses, for they are necessary in order to clear the decks for the major period of action in your life.

This is a time of endings and new beginnings. If you have built your life up to now around activities that are inappropriate for you, it will be a period of crisis. If you have been doing what you should in previous years, this influence will simply mark a time of solidification and the beginning of new phases of activity.

Jupiter trine Neptune: Direct inquiry

From 4 June 2013 until 13 June 2013: This influence stimulates the idealistic and possibly the spiritual side of your personality. You seek out the more subtle manifestations of truth and are unusually inclined to inquire directly into the secrets of life. Religious, spiritual, and mystical subjects attract you, and studying them could indeed bring much needed insight into your life. It is quite possible that this influence will signify someone coming into your life who will act as a teacher or guide in your quest for meaning. It is also possible that you will play this role for someone else. The only recommendation is to be careful not to overidealize such a person and not to allow yourself to be overidealized, for this could lead to disappointment later on. In spite of this problem, the chances are that everything will work out very favorably in the long run.

In a related way, this influence arouses the humanitarian side of your personality. You have great compassion for the sufferings of others and want very much to do something about them. You may become involved in charitable work for others, either on the personal or on the institutional level. And if you need help from someone, you will probably get it.

About the only negative side of this influence is that you may get into such a pleasant dreamy state that you have little ambition or desire to achieve anything of significance. This influence does not make you inclined to fulfill ego drives, and you may notice a slackening of this drive in your own life. By the same token it can lure you into feeling that everything is just fine, even when you really have to do certain things or face serious problems.

You will not find it sufficient to continue as you have, and your ambition will become more powerful than usual. This can be either good or bad in the long run, depending upon how you go about getting ahead. On the positive side, this influence helps you overcome your previous limitations, which were caused largely by fear and lack of confidence. Now you feel capable of greater achievements and willing to work for them. This influence usually creates great optimism and self-confidence, but you must be careful that it does not become overconfidence. Your life will not take care of itself if you neglect the important details of daily existence. Do not let your seemingly more important present concerns cause you to neglect these other aspects of your life.

But this influence can also signify an inflated ego, a state of mind in which you attribute to yourself powers and talents far beyond your actual abilities. In rare and extreme cases, a person may think of himself as godlike. But for most people this is expressed simply as overestimation of one's talents. Be careful not to take on more than you can handle. There is so much positive energy in this influence that it would be unfortunate to waste it with pride, foolish arrogance and overestimation of your capabilities.

After you find the most practical solution to any problem, you move immediately in that direction. Clarity of intention is one of the strongest points of this influence.

The seclusion will be good for you and not at all unpleasant.
