Introduction This report is a short edition of the Youth Horoscope. It is meant as a sample and advertisement for the full version of the Youth Horoscope which can be ordered from Astrodienst as a downloadable E-Horoscope of about 20 - 30 pages. In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important aspects of your natal chart are considered.
Aquarius Rising You have a good mind, which you like to use, and you are very open to new ideas and experiences. But although you are interested in new things, it is very difficult for anyone to persuade you to take up a new idea. Aquarius rising is often an indication of interest in science. But you may also be interested in social problems, and, later in life, in social reform. Even now you have great sympathy for the downtrodden, and you want everyone to get along on a friendly basis with no one being superior or inferior. Usually you are calm and able to control your emotions. Once you are convinced that an idea is true, you try to talk everyone else into agreeing with you.
The child's horoscope by Liz Greene is especially written for parents who want to enable their children to follow their own path right from the start. This horoscope in particular shows Liz Greene's wide experience and her deep insights into the development of personality.
Sun in Capricorn You are much more serious than others your age. On the one hand, you like being taken seriously and enjoy having responsibility, but on the other hand you see that other young people aren't saddled with such responsibilities, and you tend to envy them. You may develop a rather odd and unusual sense of humor. Through jokes and humor, you show that you recognize the seriousness of life, but you also escape from its overwhelming effects. When you grow up, you want to be important and achieve something real that everyone can point to as yours. You are ambitious in everything you do and will work very hard to excel over others. You are very practical and always ask what good something is.
Sun in the Twelfth House A shy person, you prefer to stay in the background if possible; in fact, you like to hide. You have more compassion for others than most young people do. You love mysteries and secrets, imagination and fantasy. You may have had an extremely painful experience when you were very young. If so, you may think it was a punishment for something that you did, and you may be afraid that it will happen again. In fact, whatever happened was an accident for which nobody is to blame. You are not a bad person, and there is no reason why it should happen again. When you grow up, you will probably have an unusual understanding of the supernatural. Getting up in front of an audience will probably never be easy, although you can learn to do it if you really want to.
Moon in Leo You consider yourself important and want to do things that will make other people proud of you. But most of all you must be proud of yourself. In a group, you try to be the outstanding person one way or another. You take your feelings very seriously and are inclined to emphasize or exaggerate them when talking to others. Above all, you feel the need to be yourself, and you do not easily act as other people want you to. You are emotionally very warm, and if you like someone you let him or her know it. But you need love and affection too, and above all, reassurance. The better you feel about yourself, the less you feel the need to show off.
Moon in the Seventh House You choose personal friends by your emotional reactions to them. Unless people appeal strongly to your emotions and offer emotional support and security, you are not attracted to them. You attract people whose emotions are strong and close to the surface because you like to be aware of your friends. The reason you attract such people is that they help you understand your own feelings. It is likely that you will marry or form a close partnership early in your life. You need the security and emotional closeness of such a relationship.
Moon Opposition Ascendant You are always looking for emotional support from someone else and, if you are really feeling depressed, protection from the difficulties of the world. You don't enjoy knowing someone only casually; you want to know everything about the people you are close to. This may cause some misunderstandings, because your friends may feel that you are interfering too much in their personal affairs, or vice versa. Your relationship with your mother will have a great deal to do with the kind of person you choose for a lover or marriage partner when you are older. If your relationship with her has been secure, close and warm, you will be supportive and protective toward the one you love. If your mother seems distant or is simply not around when you need her, when you are older you will look for a partner who will be a 'mother' to you.
Venus in Capricorn You keep your feelings under control, and at times you may find it difficult to make friends. This is because you express your feelings more seriously than most people your age. However, make sure that your relationships are not based solely on what others can do for you. You are not self-indulgent and you can control your desires quite well. You will plan very carefully how to be rather thrifty. You are at your best doing everything in moderation.
Venus in the Eleventh House You are a very sociable person who really enjoys good company and good times. You are at your best in a group, and you are an excellent team player in any activity you get involved in. You like to be with friends who are warm and sociable. Whoever your friends are, you are likely to enjoy them. Throughout your life, friendship should be a source of pleasure and fun.
Mars in Cancer What you do depends on your moods to an unusual degree. When you are feeling positive and cheerful, you act confidently and assertively. But when you are depressed, you are more retiring and much more irritable. Try not to hold your anger in so much. It is much better to express it than to hold it back so that it gradually poisons your whole mood. Sometimes this position of Mars indicates difficulties and disagreements with your family. However, it is more likely that anything concerning your family, your family background and heritage inspires in you feelings of great loyalty.
Mars in the Fifth House You have a great need to express yourself and to be yourself openly. You say whatever is on your mind and let everyone know your mood. For this reason, you have a reputation for honesty, if not tact. You put a great deal of energy into all your activities, but especially into whatever you do for fun. It is difficult for you to remain cooped up for long, because you get restless unless you are really enjoying your work. Basically you prefer play to work. As an adult, however, you may succeed by choosing a career that is really 'fun' for you.
