In the first instance, the problem is your own aggressiveness and competitiveness. You see others as a challenge to prove yourself, and you may act very defensively, taking offense at the slightest unfavorable remark.

On the other hand, you may not consciously seek fights, but you seem to attract people who are very strong-willed, often at your expense. Actually, these are the only people you respect, even though they give you a hard time. True, the independent and dominant people whom you are attracted to are self-reliant and free, but they may not be willing to give you any freedom.
