This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life.
II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and her characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Petra's birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to her alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Petra, helping her to develop her personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to her.
[..] For her the real joy is in the anticipation; the reality, when it arrives, is likely to be left behind rather quickly in favour of the next possible future. The vivid imagination which is such a marked gift of Petra's nature should never be stifled or mocked even if parents [...]

[..] She is full of bright new ideas and plans, and her curiosity about everything how an object is put together, why the sky is blue, why people behave as they do deserves to be honoured and encouraged. Buy her an encyclopedia as soon as she can read, be prepared to answer [...]
[..] She may often break the rules, but at the same time she secretly depends upon at least some of those rules because they make her feel safe and protected. This internal contradiction could result in her "testing" everyone to see just where the limits are although this [...]
IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with her parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits.
Because ideas are so important to her, Petra's greatest need in relation to others is to be listened to. Although she may sometimes appear sulky, moody or clinging, in fact such responses reflect her anxiety when her efforts to communicate meet with no response from loved [...]
[..] If such a domestic situation is extreme, the daughter may eventually develop a fear of family commitments because she is so attuned to her mother's sense of unhappiness. Petra can offer her mother great scope to be a whole person, for her needs depend as much on mental [...]
