Introduction This report is a short edition of the Youth Horoscope. It is meant as a sample and advertisement for the full version of the Youth Horoscope which can be ordered from Astrodienst as a downloadable E-Horoscope of about 20 - 30 pages. In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important aspects of your natal chart are considered.
Aries Rising You are a free spirit who likes to do things your own way and to be the first whenever possible. You always try to act energetic, active and self-assertive. You like to compete with others. Cooperating is sometimes a problem because you are so independent. Others will like you for the positive energy that you radiate. At the same time your lighthearted attitude about your feelings may make it hard to get sympathy when you really need it. You tend to be rash and impulsive, acting first and thinking later. Learn to be a little more thoughtful about your actions. You will fight for what you believe in, so it is important to think carefully about your beliefs, so that your energies will go to a good cause.
The child's horoscope by Liz Greene is especially written for parents who want to enable their children to follow their own path right from the start. This horoscope in particular shows Liz Greene's wide experience and her deep insights into the development of personality.
Sun in Capricorn You are much more serious than others your age. On the one hand, you like being taken seriously and enjoy having responsibility, but on the other hand you see that other young people aren't saddled with such responsibilities, and you tend to envy them. You may develop a rather odd and unusual sense of humor. Through jokes and humor, you show that you recognize the seriousness of life, but you also escape from its overwhelming effects. When you grow up, you want to be important and achieve something real that everyone can point to as yours. You are ambitious in everything you do and will work very hard to excel over others. You are very practical and always ask what good something is.
Sun in the Tenth House You are a person who wants to make great achievements in the world and to be in control of your own destiny. You find it difficult to follow someone else's orders unless you really respect that person. If you apply yourself to your work, you will accomplish a great deal. However, while you are young, these traits will make it difficult for you to accept other people's authority. Your relationship with your father is very important. You will be greatly influenced by his ways, although you will occasionally disagree with him and try to rebel. You want to know what the world is about, what is important in the public eye and what is generally considered significant. Among people of your own age, you will try to be a leader, and your peers will look up to you.
Moon in Gemini Your emotions change very rapidly, and you are quite restless. You get bored rather quickly, and your attention tends to wander if you have to keep it fixed on one object too long. But you are very curious and eager to try out every new experience. You enjoy traveling as a chance to have new experiences. And you feel the same way about new ideas, wanting to learn everything there is to learn. One very good feature of this Moon position is that you will probably learn to let your intellect control your emotions. In situations where others act wildly and emotionally, you can keep your cool and see what is really happening.
Moon in the Second House You have a strong need for emotional security, which is reflected by the desire to own things. But you should be careful not to attach too much importance to what you own, because you may become selfish and possessive, especially if you feel insecure and afraid. If you feel very positive and secure, you may be generous and giving, but when you feel rash and impulsive, you tend to waste money or whatever else you have. In relationships you form strong attachments to other people, which may make you feel possessive of them. If you are willing to run the risk of losing your friends, you will actually find it easier to keep them.
Venus in Sagittarius You try to be very fair and just with all of your friends. You are usually very friendly and quite outgoing. You don't hide your feelings for others, for you are open about your emotions. People will probably like this in you, and you should have many friends. However, you do not like possessive people or those who use friendship to tie you down. You are fond of nature and the outdoors and you like natural themes in art.
Venus in the Ninth House You enjoy any activity that allows you to enlarge your experience. You enjoy traveling to new and different places and learning about ways of thinking that are different from what you know. You like to relate ideas and concepts to each other through a sense of harmony, because they seem to belong together rather than because they are connected logically. You are attracted only to those ways of thinking that involve human feelings. For you, beauty is a basic part of the world as it should be.
Mars in Aries You are a very independent and self-assertive person. You prefer to act on your own and set your own pace without waiting for people who work more slowly. Also you like to be the first to take up a new activity. You have no desire to impose your will on your friends, as long as they don't try to force their ways on you. However, you enjoy competition when someone offers a challenge. You get angry quite quickly, but you also cool off quickly and don't hold a grudge. Obviously your greatest problem is learning to cooperate with others. You must learn to give in now and then. You are also inclined to be rash and impulsive and to act without thinking. If you take time to be careful, you will have little difficulty.
Mars in the First House You are very energetic and self-assertive, and you never retreat from a conflict. In fact, you may even look for a conflict where there is none. Be careful of this tendency, because people will probably dislike you for it. If you are placed in a position of leadership, which will happen, you will lead very energetically. You are quite impulsive and extremely restless. However, if you have to work very hard on something that requires a great deal of physical energy, you enjoy it. Learn to take the time to understand other people's points of view. You tend to see only your own and to become angry when someone challenges your beliefs.
Mars Conjunct Ascendant You are strong-willed, and people quickly realize that you are not someone to trifle with. You have all the classic qualities of Mars - self-reliance, courage and daring, personal aggressiveness and independence. You are at your best working by yourself. Usually you are willing to take responsibility for what you do, and you are dependable. Your strong sense of personal integrity and pride makes you somewhat sensitive to comments by others that seem to indicate that they do not take you very seriously. You are very competitive in every area of life. Your aggressive energies have caused you, even while young, to dislike anything that seems soft and weak. You want to become independent at an early age. You don't like to think that you need anybody, although you can certainly be affectionate in your own way.
