Introduction This report is a short edition of the Youth Horoscope. It is meant as a sample and advertisement for the full version of the Youth Horoscope which can be ordered from Astrodienst as a downloadable E-Horoscope of about 20 - 30 pages. In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important aspects of your natal chart are considered.
Aquarius Rising You have a good mind, which you like to use, and you are very open to new ideas and experiences. But although you are interested in new things, it is very difficult for anyone to persuade you to take up a new idea. Aquarius rising is often an indication of interest in science. But you may also be interested in social problems, and, later in life, in social reform. Even now you have great sympathy for the downtrodden, and you want everyone to get along on a friendly basis with no one being superior or inferior. Usually you are calm and able to control your emotions. Once you are convinced that an idea is true, you try to talk everyone else into agreeing with you.
The child's horoscope by Liz Greene is especially written for parents who want to enable their children to follow their own path right from the start. This horoscope in particular shows Liz Greene's wide experience and her deep insights into the development of personality.
Sun in Cancer You are an emotional person who is sensitive to the subtle ways that people communicate with each other. You very much need to have emotional support and to know that your loved ones love you, especially your mother. When these needs are fulfilled, you are a very generous and giving person. However, if your own basic needs are not provided for, you will withdraw into yourself and act very insecure. An insecure Cancer can be very selfish, just as a secure one can be very generous. You probably have a secret, quiet place that is all your own, where you can go and be alone with your thoughts. Wherever you go in life, one of your first objectives in new surroundings will be to find such a place for yourself. Your home and family will always be important to you.
Sun in the Sixth House You are somewhat shy and you prefer to work quietly on the sidelines. But whatever you do, you want to do very well. You have high standards and want all your work to be as nearly perfect as possible. You may find it hard to stand up to aggressive people. But unless you learn to do this, they may try to run your life. You need to be more self-confident and less self-critical. You are very concerned with long-range goals and more disciplined about staying with them than most people your age.
Moon in Aquarius You value your freedom very highly and demand the right to do whatever you want at all times. You like to be with a group of people, especially your friends, because your own ways and desires have more meaning if you can share them with others. Once you get to the point of feeling at ease with your emotions, you will reveal them quite spontaneously to others, and you may even get impatient with those who try to hide their feelings. You must learn to be tolerant of these and other emotional differences between yourself and other people.
Moon in the First House You get along well with others and are able to win people over to you. Even those who disagree with you have to admit that you are likable. You may be too emotional in your way of dealing with others, so that you see only your own point of view and not the other person's. Another difficulty is that people may feel that they can't rely on you, unless you try to be more consistent. You easily pick up impressions from other people and reflect their moods. This is one reason for your popularity; you are so sensitive to people's feelings that you quickly convince everyone you meet that you are one of them, and people like that.
Moon Conjunct Ascendant You make an impression on others largely through your emotions. You have the kind of honesty that others appreciate. You sympathize with others, and in turn they are sympathetic to you. When you are older, you will be able to appeal to the feelings of the public at large, who will feel that you are one of them. Regardless of your own sex, you will get along quite well with women, who may bring you great benefits at times. Even while you are quite young, you enjoy taking care of others and doing favors for them. However, you may become quite emotionally demanding of the people you help. Try not to be jealously possessive of your friends. It is important that you grow up in a peaceful and serene environment.
Venus in Leo You like people, and people like you as well. You are very loyal to your friends. You have a strong sense of fairness and justice, which you insist on in all your relationships. For your love is very strongly mixed with pride. Another side of this aspect is that you may pick friends who make you look good in some way. But be careful not to overlook those who are equally worthy but not so well known. In relationships, you will have to learn to compromise with other people's desires. You cannot have your own way all the time, and as you get older, you will understand the positive aspect of the give and take. Your basic warmth and friendliness will always make you well liked.
Venus in the Seventh House You will always want to have a steady relationship that gives you a sense of being more complete than you are by yourself. Even while you are young, you like to be with other people and to work with others rather than alone. You are far more concerned with harmony than with getting your own way. That is very useful, but you should learn that in some situations you must stand up for your rights in no uncertain terms. You like to be with people who are attractive or artistic and creative. When you are older, you may marry someone who has these qualities.
Mars in Aries You are a very independent and self-assertive person. You prefer to act on your own and set your own pace without waiting for people who work more slowly. Also you like to be the first to take up a new activity. You have no desire to impose your will on your friends, as long as they don't try to force their ways on you. However, you enjoy competition when someone offers a challenge. You get angry quite quickly, but you also cool off quickly and don't hold a grudge. Obviously your greatest problem is learning to cooperate with others. You must learn to give in now and then. You are also inclined to be rash and impulsive and to act without thinking. If you take time to be careful, you will have little difficulty.
Mars in the Second House When you see something you would like to own, you want it very much and you work very hard to get it. You feel you should be free to waste your resources or money if you want, or to be frugal and careful if you want. However, because of the compulsive nature of Mars, you are much more likely to be careless in this regard. Plan carefully for what you really need and then buy it only after much consideration. Anyone who challenges your strong sense of property arouses your anger. It is not that you are selfish especially, but you want to make your gifts freely, of your own accord. In the long run you will have to learn to be less possessive of what you own. Otherwise your possessions will bring you more pain than pleasure.
