You should examine the degree to which your life has been complete and rounded. Have you managed to achieve balances among the various things and issues that competed for your attention. The changes that occur during this transit are likely to be the result of whatever was not fully done at that time.

However, one seldom has lived life in a perfectly balanced manner and no matter how hard you try, there will be some things that you have to deal with now that you did not deal with previously. At times it may seem that these changes are unnecessary and intrusive. You may feel that you have lived a long life and should have some stability now. But change is always part of life. Allow such necessary changes to occur and do not try to obstruct them, and most of all, do not regard the changes with regret. You are still changing and growing, and you will do so as long as you live. Always remember the old Buddhist saying, "Enlightenment is easy for those who have no preferences."

Uranus opposition Venus: Enjoy the present

Beginning of July 2012 until end of February 2014: Your love life and relationships will be the sources of change in your life at this time. A loved one may become restless and begin to question the basis of your relationship. She may demand more freedom and ask that the relationship be changed considerably. A good relationship probably will not break up, but all kinds of tension will surface that you and your partner may not have dealt with before. You should allow this to happen and not try to smooth over feelings that should be expressed.

It is also possible that you may be the one who becomes restless and demands a change in the relationship. You may begin to feel that it has become boring, so you seek out a new relationship that will provide the excitement that you feel is lacking. Under this influence people often form relationships that would seem highly improbable to themselves and others under other circumstances. The problem is that there is a real ambiguity in your mind about yourself and your relationships. You want to be close to people and to be free at the same time. Consequently you will be attracted to relationships that either express your desire for freedom or that are impossible to consummate, as described above. For this reason you should not expect any relationship formed under this influence to last very long. It could last, but you should not expect it. This is a good time to enjoy the present. Don't live in the future!

It would be much better to use this energy to redefine and change your existing relationships, if they have anything at all to offer, so that they are a more complete expression of yourself and your loved ones. The best relationships are those in which the compromises that you make do not require you to become a different person.

If you are working in a creative art form, this will be a tremendously stimulating period. You may not get much actual work done, but you will be exposed to new ideas and techniques, which later you will be able to integrate into your overall technique.

Neptune trine Ascendant: A spiritual cast

Beginning of March 2013 until end of December 2014: During this time your relationships take on a spiritual cast, and you are much more inclined to idealize the people you meet. If a lover comes into your life at this time, the relationship will be so romanticized that it will be in great danger when you discover that the other person is not as perfect as you thought. Overidealization in any relationship is a danger to be watched for with this influence.

There is also a strong tendency to get caught up in an ideal philosophy, a spiritualized world view that is so abstract and removed from the real world that you are neither able nor willing to function here. You may have a strong desire to escape and withdraw from the world, which can be useful in some cases. If you are aware of this tendency and know that it is temporary, you can make positive use of it. There are times when it is important to go off by yourself and meditate upon the meaning of your life and what you are doing with it. The only problem is that you probably cannot go off for the whole duration of this influence, because it usually lasts more than a year. But for part of the time this might be a desirable plan of action.

A spiritual teacher or guide figure may enter your life at this time, and regardless of his or her personal merits you are likely to learn something valuable from the encounter. That does not mean that you should take everything you are told at face value. After this influence has passed, you will be able to reevaluate what you have learned in the light of your own intelligence and experience. At this time your ego drives are rather low, which makes you less interested in questioning what someone tells you. You reflect very strongly on your own failures and inadequacies, not destructively, but with the aim of improving yourself.

Jupiter square Moon: Magnanimity

From 17 June 2013 until 25 June 2013: This is usually a very favorable influence. It gives your emotions a great deal of power, so that you feel them much more emphatically and are more in touch with them. At the same time you want to establish empathetic relationships with others, to hear their problems, to help out and play a protective role toward them if possible. This influence may make you feel very sentimental about and attached to your surroundings and to familiar objects. Your past is very important to you now, and if there are events in your past that you find uncomfortable, they are likely to come up. There is often a need to confront the unconscious areas of the psyche during this time, but you should regard this as an opportunity to be healed of the wounds made by these energies from the past.

In emotional relationships, this influence can create a tension between your desire to be close to someone and the desire to be free. Be careful to give your loved ones the same freedom that you want, and do not try to be unfairly possessive of them. Also, confrontations with the unconscious aspects of yourself mentioned above can affect relationships adversely during this time. In such cases it is necessary to cultivate a sense of detachment and not become so wrapped up in your emotions that you cannot see beyond them.

This influence gives an enormous concern with social and individual justice. You are easily outraged when you see someone getting the short end of the stick, but your emotionalism may make it difficult to see a good solution to the problem. Try to avoid feeling self-righteous and intolerant. You will need to have a very open and generous point of view in order to clear up any conflicts that occur at this time, and emotionalism masquerading as righteousness will not accomplish anything useful. Instead, take advantage of the ample positive side of this energy by helping those who need it. Protect the people you can protect and succor those who have been hurt. Magnanimity is just as much in accordance with the meaning of this influence as are extreme emotionalism and self-righteousness.

Jupiter sextile Jupiter: In good working order

From 8 July 2013 until 17 July 2013: This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort - growth in consciousness, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important.

But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change.

This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel.

Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly.

Jupiter conjunction Ascendant: Beware of airs

From 10 July 2013 until 19 July 2013: During this period you feel good and project warm positive energies out into the world. This in turn affects your relationships very positively and enables you to encounter people who can be good for you precisely because you are good for them. In all transactions with others you will give and receive in equal measure.

Personal relationships expand under this influence. If you have been living in a relatively small circle of friends and acquaintances, you will expand your circle and meet people whom you wouldn't ordinarily, possibly including the rich and famous or people in power. Just be careful that you don't become involved with these people for superficial reasons; make sure that you can grow through them. The fact that a person is socially significant may not have any relevance to your relationship.

The basis for all this is that in a very real sense you are growing and taking more and more of the outer world into your personal sphere. You are trying to include more of the world in your experience. Properly handled, this process can make you a much wiser and more mature individual. Your view of life should expand, and you should become increasingly tolerant of the wide differences among people in the world. You have the opportunity to become a man of the world to a much greater extent.

At this time, you should be careful not to assume arrogant airs or to think that you are better than you are. You are probably a fine person, but that does not mean that you are necessarily better than everyone else. Think in terms of your personal growth, not in terms of your status with respect to others.
