End of February 2013 until beginning of October 2015: This influence signifies a time of extremely powerful emotional change in your life, which can affect your immediate personal surroundings, your home and family, and your inmost psychological development. The feelings evoked by this influence are raw and urgent. You may be surprised at the intensity of some of the internal forces that you will discover, and making yourself deal with these feelings may be the most difficult part of this time. Now this aspect of your psyche is in a state of acute transformation, and that is what makes this influence so powerful. The actual experience can vary tremendously because so many different areas of your personal and emotional life can be activated, but here are some typical manifestations. First of all, on the innermost psychological level, this influence can indicate an enormous emotional change that activates complexes within you that have lain dormant since childhood. You may repeatedly find yourself in situations in which you act as a compulsive child rather than a rational adult. The problem is that your "rational" adulthood has never dealt with these repressed energies. You may need psychotherapy or a related technique in order to handle what comes up at this time.

On another level, this influence can transform all your emotionally based relationships, such as those with your partner, family and parents, particularly your mother. One of these relationships may end completely for any number of reasons. Relationships with women in general may become particularly intense, regardless of your own sex.

On a more external level this influence can affect your home in a number of ways. You may change your residence, or you may make great changes in your present residence. Repairs may be necessary in order to prevent serious disintegration of a building.

Uranus square Moon: "Crazy"

Mid-May 2013 until end of January 2015: This influence will create tensions and sudden changes in your personal and emotional life. Every little tension that you have suppressed over the last several years will suddenly seem to surface and demand to be released in some way. In your close relationships, such as to parents and partner, problems that you have been ignoring may reach the point that you have to deal with them. In an intimate relationship, this influence can have the effect of either you or your partner suddenly breaking away and seeking a relationship elsewhere. But that would happen only if the tension between you has been very severe and neither of you has been doing anything about it. In any case, you may have to make some changes in the demands you have been making upon each other.

Your domestic life may be the source of considerable upsets now. There may be accidents in the home, a sudden need for house repairs, or other sudden problems on this front. Certainly this is not a good time to buy a home, because what you look for now will not reflect your usual needs. If you are forced to buy a new home or to change residence at this time, go ahead, but be very careful. The energy of the influence has already worked itself out by disrupting your previous home and forcing you to move.

In general, you are seeking more emotional freedom at this time. If you can, change your existing relationships so that they embody what you are looking for. Otherwise, if you seek out new relationships, your personal life may be more disrupted than you want. Men in particular should be wary of this influence, because their attitudes toward women may be rather unstable now, which can result in upsetting relationships.

Whatever you do, you will probably find that your emotional wants and needs are not consistent with those of the people around you. Others may think you are "crazy" (not clinically insane, of course), because of your actions at this time. But this is only a temporary period of instability, during which you will come to a new understanding of your emotional needs.

Uranus opposition Sun: Security vs. freedom

Mid-May 2013 until end of January 2015: During this time you should look for sudden changes in your environment that challenge your expression as an individual and force you to take a stand about what you really are. A sudden challenge in the outer world may force you to take more responsibility for your life. Typical effects of this influence would include sudden events concerning men; unexpected circumstances that force you to change your course of action; sudden changes in a relationship, especially if you have not allowed self-expression for yourself or your partner; and sudden changes in health, involving your heart and circulatory system especially.

By this time you have built up a lifestyle that you consider valid and practically realizable. Most adults by now have given up certain ideals and goals as impossible. You have probably surrendered large parts of yourself as an accommodation with reality. The suppressed energies from this source lie behind the manifestation of this influence. It demands that hidden pressures be released, but you will probably feel that these events are happening to you rather than that you are doing them. What is happening is the passing away of something that has prevented you from being free. The trouble is that most people come to value security and predictability over freedom of self-expression. Consequently this influence is frequently upsetting.

Jupiter opposition Moon: The first move

Mid-August 2013 until mid-April 2014: This is a time when feelings and emotions play an important part in your life, and relationships based on feelings and emotions become very important. This influence is usually experienced positively as warm feelings within yourself and from others. You feel emotionally very generous and giving. Relationships are usually quite good and rewarding now, and those that you have been building up for years may begin to produce results. You can now decide clearly which ones are worthwhile and which are not.

But there is a negative side to this influence also. It can make you feel very self-indulgent and undisciplined. You may feel that the world "owes me a living," whether or not you really deserve it. It may also make you feel that others ought to be breaking their back to help you. In personal relationships, you may become very demanding without really offering anything to your partner in return. Instead of reaching out to make things happen in your life, you wait for others to make the first move and become quite angry when people insist that you take some initiative.

Your love relationships and relations with women can be either very good or very bad, probably not anywhere in the middle. It all depends upon your general reaction to this influence. If you are demanding in the manner described above, then your relationships will be bad. But if this influence arouses your feelings of warmth and generosity, they will be quite good. Mid-August 2013 until mid-April 2014: This can be an excellent time, but you must watch out for some pitfalls that could undo all the benefits. Basically this influence is a test of your discipline and self-restraint. If you are not a restrained person, you will react to this influence by going overboard in some way, overextending yourself or living in a fool's paradise where you think nothing can go wrong. Or you might squander a valuable resource, only to find on another day that you do not have enough of what you need. Sometimes there is a feeling that luck will provide everything that you need without any effort on your part, but this, too, is a false notion.

But this time can also provide a chance for real growth and expanded opportunities. It is a matter of how much control you have over yourself. You have to know precisely where you are and what your real needs are in order to take the most advantage of this time. You also have to know when you can't handle anything more. Knowing when to stop is the real trick.

Sometimes this influence encourages ego inflation and excessive pride. Be careful not to act in an overbearing manner, for you will set people in motion who will try to knock you down a peg or two. Here too, you must know where to stop.

Under certain conditions this influence can trigger conflict with the law or with someone else in a court of law. You may or may not lose, but don't act the role of outraged honor and dignity. Try to find out exactly what the problem is and arrive at a solution that is satisfactory to all.

End of August 2013 until end of April 2014: This influence brings the urge to achieve to the forefront of your life. You will make great, even extraordinary, efforts to gain success as you personally define it. You work harder and strive to gain your objective with every ounce of energy at your disposal. Consequently, this influence often occurs just at the moment when some tremendous effort in your life bears fruit.

Sometimes there is a tremendous drive to gain power, and this influence can bring you power even when you are not trying especially hard to get it. Remember that each person has opportunities for a different kind of power. It may be great or relatively humble in terms of the larger society, but it will be meaningful to you.

This power drive is sufficiently strong that it is difficult to deny, even if it has absolutely no outlet. In that case you are likely to get into some kind of conflict with authorities, even to the extent of arrest. If your ambition becomes the irresistible force against an immovable society, you will probably be the loser. Therefore you must scan your life to find areas where you can let this energy manifest itself. Surely in some area of your life you can better yourself and achieve something that would bring you recognition and respect. This is true no matter how depressed you think you are or how downtrodden your circumstances. If you put all your energy into working on that, it is quite likely that you will accomplish what you want.

The dominant drive of this influence is self-betterment, but each individual has to define that term for himself. You can work in that direction now, and how well you succeed depends largely on what you mean by betterment. Unfortunately, for some people it means simply money or power.
