Mid-May 2012 until mid-December 2014: This influence will stimulate your romantic imagination considerably. This may lead you to an unusually romantic relationship with someone, or it may arouse creative talents that you were not even aware of. The symbol of this influence is the beautiful dream or illusion. Even though it is an illusion, you have the ability now to make it real if you recognize that you must work to make any dream real.

If this influence does bring about a love relationship, it will probably be more romantic and idealized than any you have ever experienced. It will seem like a perfect soul union between the two of you, the realization of your most perfect ideal. However, there is the danger of overidealization.

You will eventually learn to see your partner's flaws, but this relationship should broaden your understanding of people to the point that you can accept the inevitable flaws. This influence probably will not produce great disappointment in relationships. In fact, under this influence you will be more compassionate and understanding of your lover, almost as if you and your lover were one and her problems are yours too. Saturn conjunction Venus: Harsh realizations

End of October 2012 until end of July 2013: This influence will have a strong effect on your relationships with others. Relationships that are solidly based will go through a period of testing and examination during which you and your loved ones and friends will become increasingly concerned about what is valid between you. A weak and unstable relationship will go through the same process, but you are more likely to conclude that it is not worth preserving. Consequently, at this time the relationships that have no purpose or that have outlived their purpose in your life will be cut off. Often you will be reluctant to let go of them.

Even in the best of circumstances you are likely to withdraw from others. During this time you have to evaluate who you are, what your individuality consists of and how all of these fit into your relationships with other people, particularly loved ones. You may come to some harsh realizations about your relationships, and even those that you thought were quite good may have to be given up. But you can be sure that any relationship that comes through this period in good shape is very real and important to you.

New relationships with a strongly "fated" quality may also come into your life now, which will have very profound significance for you in about fourteen years.

This is definitely a time to be conservative in financial matters and not take on any new financial obligations, for you may have trouble meeting your existing ones. On the other hand, this is an excellent time for firming up and organizing the financial structure of your life.

In general you should look upon this transit as a time for withdrawing into yourself with respect to others and to material possessions. This withdrawal will enable you to get a clearer idea of what and who you are, so that your future relationships with people and possessions will be more solidly based on reality and therefore more reliable and useful.

Saturn sextile Moon: Family matters

Mid-November 2012 until beginning of September 2013: This influence gives you a sense of discipline and self-control, which will make it easier to deal with the emotionally complicated issues in your life that you normally avoid. At this time you can deal with difficult relationships that you could not handle in the past with proper detachment and objectivity. You can reflect upon your feelings and examine them without letting them control you. Make whatever changes should be made in your personal life with confidence that you are seeing the truth clearly.

This influence enables you to build constructively upon your past and to embody its best teachings into your current life. Anything you do at this time must have a strong connection with your past life. This is not the time to make a radical break with tradition.

A related effect is that during this time family matters may become very important to you, especially matters concerning one or both of your parents. Here again the self-control that this influence confers will ensure that your family interactions are constructive. You are in better control than usual of your unconscious attitudes and the behavior generated by them, especially as regards family and loved ones.

However, along with all of this is the need to be aware of what you are doing, which is relatively easy with this influence. But if you take a passive attitude and simply let things slide by you with no effort on your part, the old patterns in your life will take over, and little progress will be made. Beginning of April 2013 until beginning of February 2015: During this period you will be impatient with the restrictions imposed by everyday existence, and you will be preoccupied with fantasies or ideas that help you escape the ordinary. Your grasp of what you can and cannot do with your life is being tested now, and it is very important that you try to accept the actual limitations on your life. If you can, this influence will expand your life by helping you perceive the tremendous possibilities that are inherent in your situation, even though it isn't ideal.

Your fantasies may take the form of an overdeveloped belief in your own strength and power. You may feel that you cannot lose, but if you succumb to this belief, the day will come when you lose very badly, and then your foolish overconfidence will be replaced with defeat and discouragement. Be particularly careful to avoid wild speculations and risks, for you will almost certainly lose out; you aren't paying enough attention to the reality of the situation, and you are seeing only what you want to see. You are more than usually gullible at this time, especially if someone flatters your sense of importance.

You may take a somewhat more exalted but equally futile path by becoming involved in a religious or spiritual movement that makes you lose all touch with reality. From 14 May 2013 until 23 May 2013: This is such a pleasant influence that you may be inclined to sit back, enjoy it and do nothing. However, this is really a very important time in your life because you can reach out into new areas of life and have new and rewarding experiences. Your creative potential is enormous at this time, and you can very easily accomplish a great deal that would be difficult at other times. Your inner energies are strong, and you are full of self-confidence and the feeling that you can do anything.

This influence usually indicates good health and a feeling of well-being, although you may be inclined to put on weight if you are not careful. You may not feel inclined toward physical activity, but it would be a good idea to get some exercise. Make a particular effort to be outdoors. Hiking is a very beneficial activity at this time.

Jupiter square Uranus: Negatively suggestible

End of August 2013 until beginning of May 2014: The effects of this influence can vary considerably. On the one hand, it can indicate a "bolt out of the blue" lucky chance or change in fortune, a sudden opportunity that significantly changes your life. But on the other hand, it can indicate such restlessness and impatience with restrictions that you create a major disturbance in your life in your efforts to become free.

Under any circumstances you are likely, rightly or wrongly, to see change as the only way to get ahead, and to a certain extent this is always true. But the danger here is that you will seek change for its own sake and not take the time to examine carefully which changes will be most effective. There is a strong tendency to be negatively suggestible, that is, to always go in the opposite direction from any pressure.

Freedom in general is very important to you at this time, and you will work very hard to get it in some area. In relationships, this can be disruptive because you are likely to be hostile toward anything that keeps you "in line." Also this influence can signify a time of constant change, when you cannot tell from one day to the next what you are going to do.

But opportunity will probably come, if you can maintain a certain degree of restraint without putting yourself into such a straitjacket that you cannot move when the opportunity presents itself. You do in fact need freedom from something at this time, and you will probably get exactly what and how much you need, as long as you avoid moving so quickly and impulsively that you ruin your chances for creative change. If you remain calm, you will suddenly see and be able to take an opportunity to get ahead or to become free from restriction. Be patient, and you will discover that not much more patience is required.
