This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life.
II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and her characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Astrid's birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to her alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Astrid, helping her to develop her personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to her.
[..] Because she is likely to display intellectual gifts very early in life, too much emphasis may be placed on these potentials, and too little time given to what she needs in terms of everyday expression of feelings. If her feelings do not matter to loved ones, how can she [...]

[..] Her profound need for order and stability will be evident from a very early age, for she needs more regularity in her life than many children do. As she grows older she may become increasingly intolerant of chaos and disruption, and will show a quality of patience which [...]
[..] And such a feeling of personal competence can be gained only by trying something slowly and repeatedly until she feels she has mastered it. Astrid should never be pushed into sudden action before she is ready. She will not learn to swim by being thrown into the water. She [...]
In contrast to Astrid's innately cautious and sensible nature, there is a rebellious and unconventional spirit hidden within her which may break out from time to time and surprise everyone not least Astrid herself. When this happens she has the knack of sowing chaos [...]
IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with her parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits.
[..] Otherwise she may frequently find herself "putting up with" others' demands because she fears losing their love. Astrid's steady, patient and loyal emotional nature may sometimes reveal a powerfully self-willed tenacity. This means that she is determined to have the response [...]
Astrid perceives her mother as a colourful, larger-than-life figure of tremendous energy, vitality and imagination. It does not matter if her mother feels tired, stressed and anything but vital the girl believes nevertheless that her mother will somehow magically open [...]
