Mid-November 2012 until end of August 2013: This influence represents a time of critical developments. Various factors in the outside world will challenge you strongly, and it may seem difficult to maintain your freedom of action in whatever you are trying to do.

You may feel unusually discouraged at this time, because your vitality is at a low point. It may be best not to struggle too hard against any adversity that comes into your life now. Patience and perseverance will carry you through until your energy level is up again.

Authority figures may prove difficult to deal with. You may find that they are not receptive to your plans or suggestions, that they resist your efforts. It is advisable to work patiently to bring them around to your point of view. Don't withdraw from the confrontation, but don't fight blindly. That would guarantee defeat.

This period of your life is directly linked to a time seven years ago, a time of new beginnings for you. This time now is made especially difficult by the fact that many of these projects have been going quite well, and the current difficulties seem totally unexpected.

However, this is a period of trial, which will demonstrate whether or not those new beginnings were valid. Anything invalid is likely to fall by the wayside. You will probably regard it as a failure. But you may not be aware right away that this is happening, especially if you are not paying close attention.

Your ambitions may be thwarted now, but be patient and make sure you are on the right course. If you are, this period will be a trial rather than a defeat. Even if it is a defeat, you can still accomplish a great deal by transferring your energies to more productive areas.

Saturn square Pluto: Shedding your skin

Beginning of December 2012 until mid-September 2013: This can be a difficult time in your life. Because of circumstances and other people, you find it very difficult to make the changes you would like to make in the world around you. For example, your ambitions may be frustrated. Poeple in authority may try to prevent you from accomplishing what you want. Financially, you will probably have to curb expenses because you simply do not have the resources. Sometimes the experience of this transit is much like struggling against chains that hold you down. The temptation is to resist and struggle with all your might.

However, resisting is not the best way to handle this energy, because that would set in motion destructive powers beyond your control. This influence is sometimes associated with violent incidents, so take care. The best way to handle it is with some degree of detachment. Understandably you will be quite upset with some of the obstacles that crop up now, but regard them as a way of finding out which areas of your life are working and which are not. This influence usually represents a call to eliminate the unnecessary and superfluous elements in your life. It requires that you get rid of the dead and useless structures. If you do it voluntarily, it will be easier.

When this period is over, you will emerge from the crisis considerably tougher than you were. Conserve your resources, and if you are in financial difficulty, reorganize your life so that you can get along with less.

Uranus square Mercury: Radically different

End of April 2013 until end of March 2014: This can be an extremely confusing time, because new information and data may come at you very rapidly. It may be very difficult to make intelligent decisions on most matters. If you have to make a decision, but your attitude toward the matter is not calm and cool, try to put it aside until your feelings are sorted out. This may be more difficult than it looks, because often under this influence people are tempted to make rash, impulsive decisions. Business transactions are also difficult now because of this tendency. However it is possible to handle transactions in scientific or technological fields, especially electronics. These fit the symbolism of this influence and may not be so difficult. But even under the best of circumstances, be careful!

A negative effect of this energy can be that you will feel extremely nervous and tense, because of the fast tempo of events.

Traveling during this time may be quite disruptive. No matter how carefully you make your plans, your trip will not work out as planned, and you may be forced to travel at the most inconvenient times.

One important psychological manifestation of this influence is that your ideas and opinions are likely to be strongly challenged by others. Your beliefs may very well be right, but the universe will force you to examine them so that you know for certain whether they are. You may be attracted to radically different ways of thinking, which can also provoke opposition from others at this time. If you express your opinions strongly in any area, be sure that you are in a position to defend them. But even if you are right, avoid stating your position dogmatically. Try to understand others' points of view, for you may learn from them.

Jupiter trine Moon: With little effort

From 29 April 2013 until 8 May 2013: Usually you will feel very good with this influence, quite optimistic and generous. You will be concerned about the welfare of those around you and will want to protect the people you love. At this time you will attract favorable circumstances and resources with little effort, which will seem very pleasant now. But you should not expect this to keep on happening indefinitely. In particular, people may come after you to meet you for some reason, and these people could be quite beneficial to you in business or personal affairs. Regardless of your own sex, you may very well benefit from women during this time.

In some people this influence may stimulate an interest in religious and spiritual thought, but your views would be more strongly concerned with ethics and morality than with a more mystical approach to religion.

At the very least you can expect to feel quite good at this time, and even if nothing tremendous comes out of it, you will have a feeling of satisfaction and of being at peace with yourself.

Jupiter conjunction Saturn: A new freedom

From 9 May 2013 until 19 May 2013: During this time you will confront your own inhibitions and self-restrictions, as well as the restrictions placed upon you by circumstances. You may wish to break free of them in order to enlarge your scope of activity, so you can go to places and do things that you have never been able to do before. On the other hand, you may choose to grow within the structure of restriction in your life, using that very structure to enlarge your life. It can go either way, depending very much upon your temperament. And neither way is better as a general rule. It depends entirely on what is appropriate in terms of your own life.

If you respond by trying to break free, you will begin to feel very restless. Events and circumstances will make it clear that you have neglected much that must be done, and the structures of your life that have held you back will seem intolerable. You can no longer accept barriers such as responsibilities that you have put up with for years, onerous duties or perhaps a built-in fear of breaking away from the established order. Consequently, if you react in this way, this is often a time of breaking away and leaping out into a new freedom. This is often accompanied by a change of residence or the breakup of relationships. And however catastrophic these changes seem to others, they are usually quite fortunate and allow everything to work out for the best.

If you respond in the second manner, you will also seek to expand your life and find new freedom, but for a variety of reasons you will not overthrow the structures of your life in order to do so. Instead you will seize every opportunity to build new structures and expand the already existing order. Whatever you build up now, either in yourself or in the outer world, will be lasting.

Jupiter opposition Mercury: Mind the details

Mid-August 2013 until beginning of April 2014: This is a time of very big plans and the culmination of many ideas that you have had in the past. It is possible now to make your ideas become reality, as long as you avoid certain pitfalls. In this case the primary problem is to avoid thinking too big or attempting something that is totally grandiose and impractical.

If you can keep track of all of the details that go into a well-thought-out business deal, this is an excellent time to sign contracts or to conclude any kind of commercial transaction, but it is very important not to overlook any details that might affect the outcome. This influence enables you to see the overall patterns in anything and to plan with foresight and wisdom. But if you are not careful, it can also lead to sloppy thinking or planning. It is best to work with someone else who can check over your work or plans and call your attention to anything that you have overlooked.

Projects or plans that began up to six years ago may come to fruition now, but only if you have been careful about details as described above. At any rate, events now will make it clear whether these ideas were based on reality or on pipe dreams. Work out everything in detail and leave as little as possible to chance; this will help you immensely.

Although recognizing the truth of any matter is important to you now, you must deal with others tactfully. There is a danger of alienating people by being self-righteous or arrogant in telling them about your ideas. It is extremely important that the breadth of vision conferred by this influence be accompanied by tolerance and generosity. Usually it is, but sometimes people react in the negative way just described.

The pace of events may become rather fast moving for you at this time, and that is another reason why you must plan everything very thoroughly. You could get confused, not because the situation is undefined or vague but because the scale of events is too large for you to grasp. But this shouldn't happen if you have worked everything out in advance.
