Mid-November 2012 until end of August 2013: At this time your relationships will work for you in very practical ways. You understand how you need to have others work with you, and you are willing to meet the other person's needs within a relationship as long as he or she does the same for you. At this point in your life, you are not particularly idealistic.

Professional and business relationships fulfill the symbolism of this influence perfectly. Both parties are concerned about what each expects of the other, and both are willing to live up to the agreements that are made. If there are real differences, you will work to smooth them out. You will not just sit back and assume that it will all work out by itself.

If a sexual relationship begins during this time there may be a considerable age difference between the two of you. The older partner may act as a kind of teacher-parent toward the younger. You may be either the younger or the older partner. Even if there is no age difference, the teacher-parent aspect will probably still exist.

Neptune opposition Venus: Obscure problems

Mid-April 2013 until beginning of February 2015: During this time, love relationships, especially, may cause problems because either you or your partner has an unrealistic attitude about the relationship. Disillusionment and disappointment are the likely result when the romantic cloud lifts and the truth about the relationship becomes clear. All of us idealize a new lover to a certain extent, for that is part of the normal process of falling in love. But this influence indicates that the problem can be much more severe because of your unwillingness to accept reality as it is. You are inclined to look for partners and relationships that can help you escape from the humdrum, everyday world into a magical world of fantasy and beautiful illusions. But unfortunately you must pick your partner from the human race, and the people who can truly fulfill this kind of dream are extremely rare. So you create a beautiful image in your imagination and pretend that a specific person fits the image. And you are likely to persist, even though everyone can see, even you if you open your eyes, that your loved one is not what you fantasize. This is the most extreme manifestation of this influence, and it is not an uncommon reaction.

This influence can create other kinds of relationship difficulties as well, such as obscure problems within an existing relationship. For example, you may find it difficult to communicate with your partner, or one of you may do something behind the other's back, thus undermining your mutual confidence.

The most useful effect of this influence is that it stimulates the creative imagination. Mid-April 2013 until mid-March 2014: This influence brings about unexpected breaks and good fortune, as well as a feeling of being free and able to take on any new experience that life has to offer. You feel more daring than usual and willing to experiment with life.

Everyone's life is hedged about with certain restrictions - your job, your family responsibilities, your finances - that sometimes seem to unduly limit your freedom and prevent you from growing. You cannot really afford to throw over these limitations completely, but you would like a break from them once in a while, and this influence provides that break. It may happen through a sudden windfall, a sudden opportunity for personal advancement or the sudden lifting of an onerous burden. But it may also happen in more subtle ways.

For example, you become increasingly interested in new areas of thought that open up new vistas of understanding. In this way you escape from the killing routines of your life, not by a sudden overthrow, but by a gradual change in your understanding. This period can bring about new involvement with spiritual teachings, astrology or other revolutionary techniques of mind expansion. You will revolt against narrow ways of thinking and be on the lookout for new approaches to the truth. Yet it will not be enough to understand these truths yourself; you will want to teach others what you have learned. You may become involved in groups or organizations that teach new ideas or are involved in the occult. Under this influence you are extremely conscious of the larger social order, and you always have it in mind, whatever you are doing.

Uranus conjunction Saturn: A conflict of principles

End of May 2013 until beginning of February 2015: At this time in your life, structures you thought were dependable and permanent will be threatened by sudden events. It is often a time of great tension and sudden releases of tension.

This influence almost always represents a serious conflict of principles. On the one hand, there is your reality structure, those aspects of existence that you believe to be truly real, unchanging, material and definite, the inevitable circumstances of life that must be accepted by anyone who claims to be realistic. This influence contradicts this structure by causing sudden change in areas that you don't expect to change. And the more definite you think your situation is, the more rigid and inflexible your idea of reality, the more shocking your experience of this influence is likely to be.

Usually tension has been building up for many years in several areas of your life. These tensions are most commonly the result of the little compromises that we all make between what we want out of life and what we feel we can get. But some of these compromises may violate your inner integrity even though you don't realize it. Subconsciously you are aware of it, however, and a force for change begins to operate that eventually will try to overthrow the limiting aspects of your life. It begins to surface as an unbearable tension between your desire to be free of restrictions and your fear of insecurity and change.

Eventually you get to the point that something has to give, which happens suddenly. People usually respond to this influence with sudden actions that surprise others because they happen without warning and are apparently unpremeditated. You may break off an unsatisfactory relationship, marriage or business partnership, leave a job that has become oppressive or suddenly break away from something else that has become a burden. Ultimately, no matter how disruptive this influence seems, it is a force for good, because it clears away those built-up structures that had been holding you back.

Jupiter square Saturn: Something is wrong

Mid-August 2013 until mid-April 2014: During this time you will make many adjustments in your life, separating yourself from persons or circumstances that are doing you no good. You will change many standards of behavior and morality that you realize are inappropriate and generally realign your conception of duty and responsibility more in accordance with reality. In the process you may experience a considerable amount of tension, and for a time you may be confused, not quite knowing whether to go backward or forward, to expand or cut back.

Probably you would be well advised to go off by yourself for a while, because other people's advice will be of little value, unless you select your advisors with great care. The challenge here is to increase and go forward in some areas but to cut back in others. You will not be able to keep everything going, no matter how much you want to. Unfortunately there is no way of telling in advance which areas of your life will be affected.

Under this influence there is often a strong feeling of restlessness and uncertainty. You know clearly that something is wrong, but you are not sure what it is. The best way to deal with this is not to be in a hurry. Usually you will have all the time you need to make a decision based on careful observation of the facts, so don't rush.

In business and professional matters, this is a critical time, but not necessarily a bad one. It simply means that whatever you do now will have a more important effect than usual on the future. It is possible that you will change jobs during this time, because a new offer gives you more opportunities to get ahead than your old job. In that case, take it, because such changes are often beneficial with this influence. Mid-August 2013 until end of April 2014: At this time you are able to combine breadth of vision with sharp perception and intellect, knowledge of the particular with knowledge of the general, and thereby see the whole scope of anything you are involved in. This reveals itself as foresight and long-range planning ability. This is a good time to map out your future, because you can understand and interrelate all the elements that will affect your life.

At the same time, you feel optimistic and proceed with the belief that everything will come out exactly as you want it to. And it probably will, because you don't get completely carried away with grandiose thinking. This influence usually indicates a good balance between details and generality in your thinking, but there is also a tendency to deemphasize the details and not pay adequate attention to them. If you are not careful, this can result in sloppy or hasty thinking. Be sure to slow down somewhat and do not get carried away with your plans. Otherwise, this is an excellent time to make decisions or to conclude any kind of transaction. It is a superb time to buy or sell, because you will almost certainly be satisfied with the deal.

As your mind tries to expand, you will want to learn more and more. This is a good time for returning to school, but even on a less formal level you will be anxious to learn. You may even travel long distances with this aim in mind. Any dealings with the law should prove to be quite fortunate for you now. You will prepare for such a confrontation skillfully, leaving no loose ends to trip you up.
