The cheerful and inexpensive forecast for one year.
The means by which you revive and renew a relationship will vary according to your
temperament. If a relationship is quite unsatisfactory and you are naturally impulsive, you
may respond in the "classic" manner by seeking a new love affair. If you are more
conservative and also happier in an existing relationship, you will go through a period of
tension that will lead you to reexamine the relationship and make necessary changes. If you
are living with your partner and having problems now, a relationship counselor might be
helpful. You need new ideas to enliven your relationship, which an outsider might be able to
provide. Some couples create new arrangements under this influence, such as an open
relationship, in which they allow relationships outside of their own. In this regard you must
do what is appropriate for the two of you.
If you are not in a permanent relationship, you may become involved in a relationship that is
completely different from anything you have experienced before. However, in this case, you
should be aware that the excitement and newness of such a relationship may be a large factor
in making it work, and when it becomes older and more routine it might not last.
If you are involved in an artistic activity, you will brim over with new ideas. This can be a
very creative influence, although you may have to wait until it is over to integrate what you
have learned into your regular techniques.
Jupiter square Moon: Magnanimity
From 17 June 2013 until 26 June 2013: This is usually a very favorable influence. It gives
your emotions a great deal of power, so that you feel them much more emphatically and are more
in touch with them. At the same time you want to establish empathetic relationships with
others, to hear their problems, to help out and play a protective role toward them if
possible. This influence may make you feel very sentimental about and attached to your
surroundings and to familiar objects. Your past is very important to you now, and if there
are events in your past that you find uncomfortable, they are likely to come up. There is
often a need to confront the unconscious areas of the psyche during this time, but you should
regard this as an opportunity to be healed of the wounds made by these energies from the past.
In emotional relationships, this influence can create a tension between your desire to be
close to someone and the desire to be free. Be careful to give your loved ones the same
freedom that you want, and do not try to be unfairly possessive of them. Also, confrontations
with the unconscious aspects of yourself mentioned above can affect relationships adversely
during this time. In such cases it is necessary to cultivate a sense of detachment and not
become so wrapped up in your emotions that you cannot see beyond them.
This influence gives an enormous concern with social and individual justice. You are easily
outraged when you see someone getting the short end of the stick, but your emotionalism may
make it difficult to see a good solution to the problem. Try to avoid feeling self-righteous
and intolerant. You will need to have a very open and generous point of view in order to
clear up any conflicts that occur at this time, and emotionalism masquerading as righteousness
will not accomplish anything useful. Instead, take advantage of the ample positive side of
this energy by helping those who need it. Protect the people you can protect and succor those
who have been hurt. Magnanimity is just as much in accordance with the meaning of this
influence as are extreme emotionalism and self-righteousness.
Jupiter square Venus: Warmth of feeling
End of August 2013 until end of April 2014: This influence can create within you genuine
warmth of feeling and the desire to give and express love to others. Unfortunately it can
also make you feel very unenterprising and passive, so that you wait for things to come to you
when you ought to go out after them. It is very hard to tell which of these two broad classes
of response to expect, but generally speaking, the first is more common.
On occasions this influence may mean that you will attract someone with whom you could have a
significant relationship, but it may not be an easy relationship. It is likely to be quite
constructive, however, and whether or not you realize it immediately, you will gain from it in
wisdom and maturity.
The principal difficulty with this influence is that it inspires rather compulsive feelings,
which do not leave you enough room to maneuver and handle the new relationship properly.
Because you act compulsively, your feelings may overwhelm the other person. And it is very
important to realize that there is always a certain tension between closeness and the love of
freedom. It is quite possible to combine these into a very creative relationship that will be
pleasant and constructive for both of you, but you will have to calm yourself down a bit and
proceed with less excitement. If you can do this easily, this influence should be very good
for you.
This influence stimulates your love of beauty. Make every effort to surround yourself with
beauty, such as pleasant surroundings, art objects or beautiful scenery. With some people,
this feeling becomes perverted into a love of gaudy, showy things that have no real worth. To
each his or her own, of course, but do not get seduced into wasting money on some trifle that
you will regret in soberer moments.
Jupiter square Ascendant: On the lookout
Mid-September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This is usually an excellent time for most kinds of
relationships, but there are some pitfalls. Basically this influence signifies a desire to
grow and advance through contacts with others. Probably you are willing to give as much as
you get, although in some people this influence triggers a desire for advantages through
others without giving anything in return. In fact as they get ahead, such people act
arrogantly toward everyone, even those who helped them. This causes others to reject them,
and when they hit hard times there is no one to help them out.
But this result is totally unnecessary, and all you have to do to avoid it is to keep a sense
of humility and recognize what others have done for you. With this influence you have the
potential to become a truly better person, but only if you keep these warnings in mind.
Quite frequently this influence brings a seemingly "lucky" chance through a friend or
associate. But it is not luck so much as the fact that you are very sharply on the lookout
for opportunities that can benefit you. Your sense of timing is very acute, and your
sensitivity to others and their needs is greater than usual. That is one reason why it is so
bad to ignore others' needs, because you don't even have the excuse of ignorance.
Benefits can come to you in either your personal and domestic life or in your work. There may
be an opportunity to make money or to make improvements in your home that will make it much
more pleasant. Or you may meet people who will help you learn more about the world and expand
your view of it in various ways. You have to be willing to let this happen, however, which
means you must be receptive. This is another area in which being arrogant brings the risk
that you will get nothing of lasting value out of this period.
