This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life. II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and his characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Domenico's birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to him alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Domenico, helping him to develop his personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to him. [..] Also, expressing more threatening emotions through a medium such as painting, clay or dance can be very helpful in encouraging Domenico to learn to trust his own inner world. He is terribly eager to please and anxious to do the right thing and this could easily be taken [...] III. The Characters in the Story

[..] He may also resent having to adapt to everyday disciplines, and may display considerable offense if expected to clean up after himself like an ordinary mortal. Parents may need to make a special effort to help him understand the value of hard work, patience and a bit of [...] [..] There are many covert ways in which a child can be made to feel demoralised or cowed without any visible cruelty displayed. For Domenico, attacking his dreams and enthusiasms with a negative "wet blanket" attitude will have the effect of depressing him and undermining his [...] Hidden traits [..] Thus, while he may at times rebel forcibly against domestic routines and structures, a gentle but firm adherence to the most important and valid of these structures is very necessary for him. He has a secret fear of chaos as much as he fears restriction, and his own volatile [...] IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with his parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits. In keeping with the innate idealism of his personality, Domenico's greatest need in relation to others is to be treated with kindness, fairness and courtesy. If he feels he is being treated unfairly or cruelly he may seek comfort in food or material objects, but any chronic [...] [..] Parental battles should never be used as a justification for interfering with the very vulnerable but very deep emotional bond between father and son, and it is most important that Domenico's father endeavours to preserve the continuity of the emotional bond even if material [...] V. Fears and Insecurities
