Beginning of December 2012 until end of September 2013: This influence can have two different effects. Either you will succeed in making your life an original statement of your uniqueness, or you will be in a state of extreme tension because of forces that are constantly obstructing your self-expression. Most people experience the latter effect, at least in part. From time to time almost everyone settles into patterns that are quite rigid and inappropriate to themselves.

All around you are persons whom you are involved with and structures that you created, representing your efforts to build order and predictability into your life. But you are not a static organism, and you need creative change to keep you alive. At this time you are likely to feel that your life structures are oppressive. The most structured aspects of your life, such as your job, your marriage and relationships and your daily routine, are all potential sources of trouble, insofar as they have become dull routines.

You are irritated by people who try to tell you what to do. You feel that you have had enough, and you may be tempted to throw everything away and leave. This influence very often breaks up marriages and other relationships that have become dull, oppressive and routine. However, even the best relationships may have to be substantially redefined at this time. Don't try to sit back, grin and bear it. Some steps obviously have to be taken, but the trick is to take them calmly and not fly off the handle. It is necessary only to make changes, not to wreck everything.

The readjustments you make now can go a long way toward making your life more interesting. Achieving a balance between order, discipline and predictability on the one side and and original experience on the other is one of the greatest challenges in life.

Neptune square Mars: Framed

End of March 2013 until end of January 2015: This influence affects your sense of who you are and challenges the validity of the life course you have set for yourself, as well as your image of yourself as an effective person.

Under this influence you may get involved in situations from which you will emerge as a loser. Or someone else may set you up in such a way that you are forced to act without knowing what is really going on, and therefore you act ineffectively. Since you are not likely to get much reinforcement from others at this time, you will be forced to rely on your own inner resources and self-confidence. Do not expect others to provide you with backbone; you need to provide your own.

Be careful not to get involved with any dubious schemes, and make sure that any project you do get into is real. Certainly avoid anything you know to be corrupt or dishonest, for you will probably lose out and lose face as well.

Defeats may make you feel discouraged. But don't take them too seriously. Like all influences, this one will pass. And there is a lesson to be learned here. The more you identify with what you do rather than what you are, the more difficulties this influence will cause. You are not what you do. This influence may force you to confront that issue, and if it does, you will learn to handle your life much more successfully because you will not always have to protect yourself.

Another danger during this time is that you may become wrapped up in fighting for some terribly idealistic cause that has little chance of succeeding or of giving you any real satisfaction. All that you can count on is that you will be required to surrender your individuality for a "higher purpose," which usually turns out to be someone else's ego.

Jupiter trine Moon: With little effort

From 17 May 2013 until 26 May 2013: Usually you will feel very good with this influence, quite optimistic and generous. You will be concerned about the welfare of those around you and will want to protect the people you love. At this time you will attract favorable circumstances and resources with little effort, which will seem very pleasant now. But you should not expect this to keep on happening indefinitely. In particular, people may come after you to meet you for some reason, and these people could be quite beneficial to you in business or personal affairs. Regardless of your own sex, you may very well benefit from women during this time.

In some people this influence may stimulate an interest in religious and spiritual thought, but your views would be more strongly concerned with ethics and morality than with a more mystical approach to religion.

At the very least you can expect to feel quite good at this time, and even if nothing tremendous comes out of it, you will have a feeling of satisfaction and of being at peace with yourself.

Jupiter square Saturn: Something is wrong

From 13 June 2013 until 21 June 2013: During this time you will make many adjustments in your life, separating yourself from persons or circumstances that are doing you no good. You will change many standards of behavior and morality that you realize are inappropriate and generally realign your conception of duty and responsibility more in accordance with reality. In the process you may experience a considerable amount of tension, and for a time you may be confused, not quite knowing whether to go backward or forward, to expand or cut back.

Probably you would be well advised to go off by yourself for a while, because other people's advice will be of little value, unless you select your advisors with great care. The challenge here is to increase and go forward in some areas but to cut back in others. You will not be able to keep everything going, no matter how much you want to. Unfortunately there is no way of telling in advance which areas of your life will be affected.

Under this influence there is often a strong feeling of restlessness and uncertainty. You know clearly that something is wrong, but you are not sure what it is. The best way to deal with this is not to be in a hurry. Usually you will have all the time you need to make a decision based on careful observation of the facts, so don't rush.

In general you should take any opportunity that comes along now to broaden your scope and release yourself from limitations that have held you back. The trick is to do this in a way that is not destructively disruptive.

Jupiter sextile MC: Personal advancement

Mid-August 2013 until mid-April 2014: This is a time of confidence and benevolence. You are secure in your knowledge of yourself and in the direction your life is taking. Even so, you are willing to learn more, and you will have many opportunities to do so. Your public and home life should be going quite smoothly at this time, and you may receive opportunities for personal advancement. This influence sometimes indicates an important position of leadership. Certainly your relationship with the people in power over you should be good, which will be important in your quest for personal advancement.

Your present attitude of confidence and security is not likely to degenerate into selfish pride or arrogance, unless this is part of your basic character. You are much more likely to appreciate this chance to grow in wisdom and maturity. This is a good time to pursue an education if you desire, because you are open to new ideas and will be receptive to your studies. Law, philosophy and medicine are particularly appropriate subjects to the symbolism of this influence, but you are not limited to these.

This is also a good time to get in touch with your inner feelings. You are much more willing than usual to face the inner hidden aspects of yourself that you have been afraid to face in the past. Now you see a confrontation with your inner self as another opportunity to learn, and in truth it is. Also you will be able to understand how your past has affected the present, and you will learn to gain control over parts of yourself that used to control you. This increase in self-knowledge may be accompanied by or may come to you through an increased religious or spiritual self-awareness.

Jupiter square Sun: A matter of self-control

Mid-September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This can be an excellent time, but you must watch out for some pitfalls that could undo all the benefits. Basically this influence is a test of your discipline and self-restraint. If you are not a restrained person, you will react to this influence by going overboard in some way, overextending yourself or living in a fool's paradise where you think nothing can go wrong. Or you might squander a valuable resource, only to find on another day that you do not have enough of what you need. Sometimes there is a feeling that luck will provide everything that you need without any effort on your part, but this, too, is a false notion.

But this time can also provide a chance for real growth and expanded opportunities. It is a matter of how much control you have over yourself. You have to know precisely where you are and what your real needs are in order to take the most advantage of this time. You also have to know when you can't handle anything more. Knowing when to stop is the real trick.

Sometimes this influence encourages ego inflation and excessive pride. Be careful not to act in an overbearing manner, for you will set people in motion who will try to knock you down a peg or two. Here too, you must know where to stop.

Under certain conditions this influence can trigger conflict with the law or with someone else in a court of law. You may or may not lose, but don't act the role of outraged honor and dignity. Try to find out exactly what the problem is and arrive at a solution that is satisfactory to all.
