You are able to direct your effort toward building a project slowly and thoroughly, so that whatever you build at this time will probably last. Your attitude toward your objectives is reasonable and practical, which helps greatly in attaining what you want. This is not a time for big ideas, but rather for very thorough accomplishments in limited areas. Often it will help enormously to subordinate your own ego drives in order to work in groups with other people now.

Your physical efforts are more disciplined at this time. You are able to work long and hard on a task, whether it is physical or mental, and not give up until it is done. The people you deal with will admire you for this, and you may get much more credit than people who work in a grandiose style but less thoroughly. You find it relatively easy to accept limitations that are imposed upon you and to work within any framework that is presented to you. This makes it easier to work with other people.

Neptune opposition Mars: Dubious opportunities

End of March 2013 until end of January 2015: During this time, be careful not to get yourself involved, wittingly or unwittingly, in any kind of bogus enterprise. This influence can mean "deceitful actions," and it may involve you in such acts either as the victim or as the perpetrator of some swindle. To avoid becoming a victim, you should scrutinize with great care all seeming "opportunities" that come up now and stay away altogether from any speculative or high-risk ventures. With regard to the second danger, you should avoid perpetrating any kind of swindle, not only because it is unethical, but because you are not likely to succeed. Schemes do not usually work out as anticipated during this time.

You should not plan to launch new activities during this period. Because your energy level is low, you can't put the necessary energy into a new project to make it work out as you want. This influence can produce a crisis of self-confidence, resulting either from personal defeats by others or from a totally unpredictable and irrational spell of depression. Consequently you will find it hard to continue with projects that require great exertion. It would be best to avoid starting any new projects at this time, and you should try to maneuver yourself into a position in which you don't have to do anything critical. But above all, don't take these feelings of defeat too seriously; you are just going through a period of low energy. There is no reason to contemplate giving up, because very soon you will be back to your old level of competence. If you are at all interested in mystical and spiritual ideas, you will be more involved in these studies than ever, and it will be very profitable. You will take up ideas that you had considered too abstract to be of any use, and you will see clearly how you can apply them in your life. This is an excellent time for the study of any metaphysical, occult or spiritual doctrine.

Even if you have never been concerned with these subjects, you will suddenly be interested in aspects of life that you may have considered too idealistic. You may work very hard with others to actualize your beliefs about how the world ought to be. Under this influence you are not likely to sit back and let the world go along as it has. But at the same time you are not doctrinaire; you have great compassion for different points of view and are willing to try to reach an understanding when disagreements arise with others.

You may take a new interest in working with the poor, the sick and the downtrodden to improve their lot in life. You find it difficult to allow suffering in the world about you, even if you have been relatively unconcerned about this in the past.

Your creative potential is enormous at this time, and you can very easily accomplish a great deal that would be difficult at other times. Your inner energies are strong, and you are full of self-confidence and the feeling that you can do anything.

This influence usually indicates good health and a feeling of well-being, although you may be inclined to put on weight if you are not careful. You may not feel inclined toward physical activity, but it would be a good idea to get some exercise. Make a particular effort to be outdoors. Hiking is a very beneficial activity at this time.

If you are inclined to physical activity, especially athletics, don't take foolish risks through overconfidence. This influence tends to make you overestimate your energies.
