Beginning of November 2012 until mid-August 2013: This can be a difficult time in your life. Because of circumstances and other people, you find it very difficult to make the changes you would like to make in the world around you. For example, your ambitions may be frustrated. Poeple in authority may try to prevent you from accomplishing what you want. Financially, you will probably have to curb expenses because you simply do not have the resources. Sometimes the experience of this transit is much like struggling against chains that hold you down. The temptation is to resist and struggle with all your might.

However, resisting is not the best way to handle this energy, because that would set in motion destructive powers beyond your control. This influence is sometimes associated with violent incidents, so take care. The best way to handle it is with some degree of detachment. Understandably you will be quite upset with some of the obstacles that crop up now, but regard them as a way of finding out which areas of your life are working and which are not. This influence usually represents a call to eliminate the unnecessary and superfluous elements in your life. It requires that you get rid of the dead and useless structures. If you do it voluntarily, it will be easier.

When this period is over, you will emerge from the crisis considerably tougher than you were. Conserve your resources, and if you are in financial difficulty, reorganize your life so that you can get along with less.

Jupiter trine Venus: Pleasantly lazy

From 9 May 2013 until 18 May 2013: You feel very light-hearted and sociable now and want to spend as much time as possible with others. This is a good time for taking a vacation, attending social gatherings, or participating in other forms of amusement and fun. It is not conducive to any kind of serious effort, because you are inclined to feel pleasantly lazy and unenterprising. There is also a very strong self-indulgent streak to this influence. Be very careful not to eat or drink too much.

Fortunately you have the ability to make others feel good if they are unhappy or depressed, and as a result, people enjoy being around you at this time. You may have the chance to do favors for others that will eventually be returned. And since you feel generous and giving, you will not mind doing them.

In some instances this influence has a way of drawing money or other material resources to you. But don't sit around planning how to spend a sudden windfall from heaven, as many people do with this influence. It is a possibility, but only one among many and not the most likely.

Actually it is more likely that you will spend money on objects that you consider beautiful. Others may not appreciate your taste at this time, however, because it tends toward the flashy or gaudy. You have strong feelings of warmth and generosity toward others, particularly friends and those whom you encounter on a day-to-day basis. You feel that you would like to protect and care for everyone you meet.

You will derive uncommonly deep experiences from what appear to be ordinary, routine interactions with others. Your everyday surroundings, your family and relatives will provide satisfactions that may be missing at other times. And these encounters will provide opportunities to grow and to enlarge your life. The usually confined limits of daily routine can actually become the vehicle for new chances and opportunities.

Cultivate your friendships, for there is a good chance that a friend will be able to perform a valuable service for you at this time. And it is just as likely that you will do the same for a friend. In either case you will come out ahead. Friendships or other relationships with women quite often prove rewarding at this time, with various benefits. You could have an emotional experience that enriches you, or a business opportunity, or she could act as a guide to aspects of yourself that you do not normally experience, but which help you come to complete self-understanding.

From 21 June 2013 until 30 June 2013: At this time you will work very hard to actualize your ideals and find a concrete way to put your spiritual views into practice in the real world. But you can expect the real world to put up some resistance to your ideas. Among other things, you will be challenged to demonstrate that your ideals are not just irrelevant, impractical abstractions. You will also have to demonstrate that your views are based on realism rather than some dream world, which is where you may very well be now. At any rate, this time will give you the opportunity to find out.

You will give readily when called upon now, because this influence signifies a great generosity to people who are less fortunate than yourself. But you may not be very discreet in choosing the people on whom you lavish your charity. Some people can be helped, and it would be worthwhile to spend your time on them. But others are not worth wasting time on, although with this influence you may not be able to tell the difference.

On another level, this influence can signify the kind of false optimism that makes you take foolish risks, especially with limited resources. In any financial dealings be very careful that everything is exactly as represented to you by others. Otherwise you could be taken for a ride.

This time is a test of your grasp of reality and your ability to translate ideals into practice. There is no reason to assume that you will not pass the test, but you do have to be careful.

In most ways it represents a period of culmination in your life, and you will be tempted to expand beyond any reasonable limit. There is no question that you have a good chance for success in any one of a number of endeavors at this time and, within reason, you should pursue them. However, you should not restrict yourself solely to material and physical growth now. Even if you don't have all the material goods that you want, you should turn your attention to spiritual and inner needs. Ultimately, nothing satisfies like satisfaction. Objects that you acquire, possessions, money, and even social prestige are merely devices to make you feel that you have satisfaction. They are not the state of satisfaction itself. It is your inner difficulties that make your life less than it could be, even if you have corresponding problems in the material world. You must look for the solutions within yourself, and this time represents a turning point, where you should begin to look for the answers.

Under this influence, the tendency is to go after everything that you want in the material world without caring especially about whoever is in your way, to gather as much stuff as you can and indulge yourself in what you want. Then, as the influence subsides, you may feel that this effort has failed, leaving your life as empty as it was before.
