This influence enables you to build constructively upon your past and to embody its best teachings into your current life. Anything you do at this time must have a strong connection with your past life. This is not the time to make a radical break with tradition.

Mid-November 2012 until end of August 2013: At this time you are capable of hard work undertaken from a very broad perspective. You can put great effort into tasks that are rather narrow in immediate scope but that fit into a larger plan. You are able to organize many small details into an overall pattern in order to accomplish larger tasks.

You express your energies in a careful and controlled manner, which will win you the respect of others for your diligence and perseverance. If there is hard exacting work to be done, you can do it better now than at other times.

This is a favorable time for any kind of work that requires precision and concentrated effort. It is good for metal or stone work, drawing up exact plans, building, grinding, polishing and cutting, especially with metal tools.

This is a time when you are content to be patient and to work slowly toward your objectives. Your expectations are modest, and you are willing to do whatever is necessary to attain them. Others will find you a formidable opponent, simply because you look at all the alternatives and choose your course of action carefully and methodically. One could describe your manner as "relentless."

This is not a glamorous time in your life, but your actions can lead to real and lasting accomplishments.

Neptune opposition Moon: Strange moods

End of March 2013 until mid-January 2015: This influence produces strange moods and obsessions that can make your life quite difficult if you take them at face value or too seriously. Your perception of the world is not terribly acute at this time, and you tend to see things as you want to see them rather than as they are. Psychic and spiritual studies and teachings, which usually are quite valuable, should be taken up with extreme care at this time because you may misunderstand or misuse them. Often this influence denotes that you are weary of the world as it is and want to escape from it. Spiritual teachings can be used as an excuse for escape, but that is not their most constructive use by any means. The world is here so you can learn to handle it, not so you can avoid it. You can only disguise it, which makes it much more damaging to you.

You can be deceived by your feelings under this influence. For example, you may idealize someone out of all proportion to the truth and insist that what you see in that person is really so because your intuition tells you it is. But you are likely to be disappointed if you do this. Be especially careful in love affairs, which are often subject to overidealizing anyway. Also watch out for a tendency to saddle yourself with "stray dogs," that is, forlorn and woebegone people who appeal to your compassion. If you can really be of assistance to them, fine. But first make sure you can. Your efforts may be wasted on people who do not really want to change at all.

Events in your personal and domestic life may become very unclear at this time. Keep your home life as neat and orderly as possible, for any serious problems there could undermine your self-confidence and make you more fearful in dealing with the world. You may have a problem with female relatives or friends during this influence.

Neptune conjunction Mars: Half-hearted efforts

Mid-April 2013 until beginning of February 2015: This is not a good time to strike out to further your own self-interest in life. Your energy level is low, and you are subject to fits of discouragement and malaise. Whatever you do along these lines - working to get ahead in your job, beginning a new enterprise or embarking on a program of vigorous mental or physical activity - this influence will make it difficult for you to succeed. It is not that you are unlucky exactly but that you don't have enough push to follow through. Under this influence your efforts are likely to be half-hearted. Even if you want to do something, you may just feel too tired.

Another side of this influence is that you may get involved in an activity or project that is dishonest, misrepresented or simply subversive, although not necessarily politically. You may not be aware that it is dishonest, but if you are and choose to be involved anyway, you are running an enormous risk. Avoid any scheme that you know to be dishonest, because during this time you simply cannot count on it coming out favorably for you.

This is not a good time to advance yourself, but try not to get discouraged, for that will not help you. Instead, cut your losses and disengage yourself if possible from any activity that could create difficulties. Get into a position where you can afford to be unconcerned about results. Detaching yourself from your own energies is the best way to deal with this influence. Act because you enjoy the action, not because you are trying to win. If you can take this course of detached consciousness, you may learn something about how your life works; in fact, you may learn that your own efforts have fouled you up. In your eagerness to succeed, you may have aroused opposition that was not expressed openly, but waited subversively in the wings to trip you up.

From 7 May 2013 until 16 May 2013: This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort - growth in consciousness, in your profession, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important.

But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change.

This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel.

Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now, and this is a good time to expand your business, as long as it is within reason. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly.

Jupiter square Jupiter: Impending shortages

Beginning of October 2013 until beginning of June 2014: With this influence it is very important that you keep your affairs from getting out of hand. There is a strong tendency to excess, which may make it impossible to keep up with whatever you are involved in, simply because it is more than you can handle. Be particularly careful concerning financial matters, for you are likely to spend without thinking, confident that there is an abundance of money or other resources to back you up. You may not notice the pinch immediately, but shortly after this period you may experience shortages that will be severely exacerbated if you spend money foolishly now.

But money is not the only area of concern. You may be overcommitted to projects that demand more time than you really have. So in every area of your life, make sure that you really have the time or resources to do what you have set out to do. Do not overestimate the resources at your disposal.

If you avoid that pitfall, this can be a very fruitful influence, because it gives you more confidence and optimism and allows you to undertake projects that you would ordinarily be reluctant to take on. Also your basically positive attitude helps to ensure that your affairs will turn out the way you want.

Under this influence some persons experience a kind of ego inflation in which they have delusions of grandeur or overestimate their self-importance. This can lead to arrogant behavior and inflated pride with little or no real substance behind it.
