You are quite secure in them, for you know how and what you think about most things. This is not a time of change but of preparing to use your mind. Consequently it is an excellent time for any task requiring mental discipline and hard work, such as study, schooling or learning any new mental discipline. It is not a very good time for work requiring great inspiration, intuitive insight and creativity. You will get results through hard work and scholarly methods, not through "divinely" inspired insight.

This influence favors planning and organization of various aspects of your life. You have a definite sense of order in mind, which you can make manifest in your life. This is a good time to put your ideas into practice on the material level and to carry out long-standing plans. If you have planned a project, such as building up a new business or starting a new organization, this is a good time to do it.

With this influence there is a danger that you will let your ideas and opinions become too rigid. It is important that your ideas acquire definite form and stability at this time, because in the future they will be challenged very strongly. You must be reasonably definite and sure of yourself in order to withstand the challenges. But rigidity will only make those times worse, because your thinking will have to be flexible, no matter how certain you are now that you are right.

Pluto opposition Mercury: Headstrong convictions

Beginning of March 2013 until end of October 2015: During this time communications with others may become quite difficult, if the reason for communicating is to coerce opinions and thinking rather than to inform. Such coercion provokes resistance and then a general breakdown of communication. You must let others be and let them think what they want. And if you are threatened by someone else's coercion, you will be obliged to stand up for your beliefs and fight for them if necessary. First of all, scrutinize your ideas thoroughly so that you know their strengths precisely and can't be caught unprepared in a conflict. And remember that there is nothing wrong with changing your stand if it proves necessary.

Avoid fanatical ideas, that is, opinions that you believe in absolutely and consider worthy of forcing on others. Under this influence you can become totally possessed by convictions that have very little real meaning but that you insist on forcing on others. Also avoid associating with people who are inclined to think this way, because they will force their views upon you. With this influence there is no point in asking for conflict; it will probably come anyway.

Obsessive thinking can take another course also. You may become so obsessed with working out an idea, which may be perfectly valid, that you can't get any peace until you have done so. While you are able to do very hard mental work during this time, you should be careful not to overstrain yourself. Research and other types of mental exploration, especially about occult beliefs or very obscure and hidden matters, are the most dangerous, because they can be very obsessive. Rather than avoiding such work altogether, however, it would be better to exercise restraint in working on them.

End of May 2013 until end of January 2015: This can be an extremely confusing time, because new information and data may come at you very rapidly. It may be very difficult to make intelligent decisions on most matters. If you have to make a decision, but your attitude toward the matter is not calm and cool, try to put it aside until your feelings are sorted out. This may be more difficult than it looks, because often under this influence people are tempted to make rash, impulsive decisions. Business transactions are also difficult now because of this tendency. However it is possible to handle transactions in scientific or technological fields, especially electronics. These fit the symbolism of this influence and may not be so difficult. But even under the best of circumstances, be careful!

A negative effect of this energy can be that you will feel extremely nervous and tense, because of the fast tempo of events.

Traveling during this time may be quite disruptive. No matter how carefully you make your plans, your trip will not work out as planned, and you may be forced to travel at the most inconvenient times.

One important psychological manifestation of this influence is that your ideas and opinions are likely to be strongly challenged by others. Your beliefs may very well be right, but the universe will force you to examine them so that you know for certain whether they are. You may be attracted to radically different ways of thinking, which can also provoke opposition from others at this time. This will affect your professional life in particular. If you express your opinions strongly in any area, be sure that you are in a position to defend them. But even if you are right, avoid stating your position dogmatically. Try to understand others' points of view, for you may learn from them.

From 3 June 2013 until 12 June 2013: This is an extremely exuberant influence, which inclines you to do everything in a big way. Your energy level is high, and you are ambitious in everything that you do. You have a great need to expend physical energy, but be careful not to act recklessly. Discipline and restraint are necessary, no matter what you do.

Do not overestimate your abilities, either to yourself or to others. You are capable of doing quite a bit under this influence, so you don't have to exaggerate. It is especially important not to kid yourself about your abilities, however, because you will genuinely try to do the impossible and quite possibly exhaust yourself in the process. For the same reason, don't take unnecessary chances. The feeling of omnipotence that this influence confers is not real, at least not to the extent that you feel it.

Sometimes this influence can signify a conflict with another in which you try to break away from the other's restrictions. It is difficult to say in general whether your estimate of the facts is accurate, that is, whether the other person is really demanding too much or restricting you too much. Therefore you must examine the issue very carefully before you act. You have a great need to be self-assertive at this time, but be sure to reserve it for a situation in which it can be constructive. Avoid acting upon impulse. It could get you into needless trouble.

On the other hand, this influence also confers real courage. The difference between courage and foolhardiness is simple self-knowledge, which you must have in order to make this influence work out positively. If you are cool and collected in what you do, this can be a time of considerable triumph as you overcome obstacles and accomplish deeds that you usually would feel incapable of. At the same time, you feel optimistic and proceed with the belief that everything will come out exactly as you want it to. And it probably will, because you don't get completely carried away with grandiose thinking. This influence usually indicates a good balance between details and generality in your thinking, but there is also a tendency to deemphasize the details and not pay adequate attention to them. If you are not careful, this can result in sloppy or hasty thinking. Be sure to slow down somewhat and do not get carried away with your plans. Otherwise, this is an excellent time to make decisions or to conclude any kind of transaction. It is a superb time to buy or sell, because you will almost certainly be satisfied with the deal.

As your mind tries to expand, you will want to learn more and more. This is a good time for returning to school, but even on a less formal level you will be anxious to learn. You may even travel long distances with this aim in mind. Any dealings with the law should prove to be quite fortunate for you now. You will prepare for such a confrontation skillfully, leaving no loose ends to trip you up.

Communications with others are exceedingly fortunate under this influence. Your optimism and positive state of mind bring you good news from others concerning matters of importance. At the same time, everything that you say to others is very positive and reinforcing, which leaves good feelings behind you wherever you go.

End of August 2013 until end of April 2014: This influence indicates the beginning of a new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations. You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.

Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the same time you are willing to give more to the world.

This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing.
