End of March 2012 until end of January 2014: This can be a fascinating time. It will stimulate the idealistic side of your nature in a most beautiful way, and you will see beauty in everything. For artistic and creative people this is one of the most powerful of all influences. Your imagination will be more active than ever before, presenting you with innumerable beautiful images to create from. Even if you are not especially artistic, this influence will bring poetry, music and art into your life.

Relationships can be very difficult if you do not keep a clear head. This is the romantic influence par excellence. You may fall madly in love with someone because she seems so perfect and ideal, although the truth may be quite different. This influence does not automatically mean a bad love relationship, and the object of your love may or may not be worthwhile. That is not the point. Even if your loved one is worthwhile from a clear-headed point of view, that is not what is attracting you. If you are lucky, when the fog lifts you will find you have picked someone who is quite good for you. But you may have difficulty accepting her faults, because you were so wrapped up in your ideal of perfection that you did not notice them before.

One other theme during this time is the illusion that your only need in a relationship is to make the other person happy. Sometimes people will carry this theme to the extent of seeking out someone who is truly a loser in order to "save" him or her. A relationship with a sick person, alcoholic or drug addict is a manifestation of this pattern. Be very careful to avoid this tendency; when the influence is over you may find that you have committed yourself to a very ungratifying situation.

Another situation may arise that is related in reverse, if you feel that you are the unworthy person who needs to be saved. In this case you would seek out someone who could "save" you, rather like falling in love with a guru figure. The problem with both of these manifestations of this influence is that you are not relating to the other person as an independent equal.

Jupiter conjunction Jupiter: Wonderful opportunities

A transit approaching its end, from end of September 2012, remaining until beginning of May 2013: This influence indicates the beginning of a new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations. You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.

Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the same time you are willing to give more to the world.

This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing. This influence represents a time when you should see whether you are doing that in your life.

Concretely, you can expect persons who are good for you to come into your life. Or circumstances will arise that give you increased freedom or an opportunity to do something that you have never done before. Educational opportunities may come to you at this time, or a chance to travel. Sometimes this influence does in fact bring about financial advantage, but you should not sit around passively waiting for it to happen. This is an excellent time to invest or expand in business as long as you are very careful not to overdo it or overextend yourself.

Saturn conjunction IC: Treading water

Mid-December 2012 until beginning of October 2013: In this extremely important period of your life, you must pay very close attention to what you are doing, because you are beginning a new phase of activity that will have important consequences in the years to come. The difficult aspect of this time is that the process is very subtle, and it may not be obvious that what you do now is important.

You have just gone through a period of preparation that probably seemed like treading water, getting nowhere and accomplishing nothing. Some people may experience the time just before this influence as exceedingly difficult, with one defeat after another. Others will find it less difficult, but it will not seem terribly significant.

This is the end of a relatively low period in your life, and from now on you will gradually climb to the most significant time in your life.

You should be looking to your personal and domestic life, for this is an area of great responsibility for you now. Do not neglect it in a misguided attempt to get ahead in the outer world. Make whatever changes are necessary so that this aspect of your life is secure. Personal relationships may have broken up just before this time. Now you may have the opportunity to make new ones that will fit your new lifestyle better.

You are on your way up again. The future depends upon the foundation that you lay now.

Uranus sextile Moon: A fresh breeze

Beginning of April 2013 until beginning of March 2014: This influence stimulates your emotional life. You will experience your own feelings and allow yourself to look at the world subjectively. Your own inner feelings and your attitudes toward the world will seem as important as whatever you consider to be true or real in the external world. At this time you feel what you want to feel.

This effect manifests itself in a variety of ways. First of all, you will demand more emotional satisfaction in your relationships. It will not be enough for a relationship simply to go on as it has. If your existing friendships and love relationships do not meet your needs, you will find new ones that do. Your goal is freedom of emotional self-expression and experience.

Another manifestation of this influence is that you are likely to make changes in your home environment, demanding that it too be more emotionally satisfying. At this time it is not enough that your house is adequate to keep out the rain. You want it to be as interesting and stimulating as any other aspect of your life.

As your ability to experience your inner life is stimulated, your imagination will also be stimulated. You will see how you can make your life more interesting in areas that you had never considered before. Also the intellectual and emotional functions of your mind are more unified now. From 8 May 2013 until 17 May 2013: This is a very exuberant time, with high energies. You feel physically strong and fit, and you are more willing to be active and take chances than at other times. Vigorous physical activity is one of the best ways to use this energy, which strengthens your body and allows you to accomplish more than usual.

Almost anything that you direct your energies to, especially an activity that requires a lot of energy, will seem to flow and happen as if you were not making any effort at all. It is important to realize, however, that you are in fact working quite hard; after this period, and even during it to some extent, you will need to stop a while and rest. One of the problems at this time is that because you don't realize how hard your body and mind are working, there is a real danger that you will overwork yourself. Certainly, if you are not in excellent physical condition you should not take up heavy physical work without preparing for it, but that is just what you might do with this influence.

This is a good time to begin a new project, as long as you don't overextend yourself. You have much more initiative than usual, and you can accomplish a great deal by yourself. Working with others may be frustrating, because it is hard for you to put up with their slower pace.

Often this influence is expressed through doing something that requires a magnificent sense of timing or planning. Or you will do something that works out very well for you in the long run. Even if it doesn't require great energy, it will pay great dividends in the future.

Jupiter square Sun: A matter of self-control

Beginning of October 2013 until beginning of June 2014: This can be an excellent time, but you must watch out for some pitfalls that could undo all the benefits. Basically this influence is a test of your discipline and self-restraint. If you are not a restrained person, you will react to this influence by going overboard in some way, overextending yourself or living in a fool's paradise where you think nothing can go wrong. Or you might squander a valuable resource, only to find on another day that you do not have enough of what you need. Sometimes there is a feeling that luck will provide everything that you need without any effort on your part, but this, too, is a false notion.

But this time can also provide a chance for real growth and expanded opportunities. It is a matter of how much control you have over yourself. You have to know precisely where you are and what your real needs are in order to take the most advantage of this time. You also have to know when you can't handle anything more. Knowing when to stop is the real trick.

Sometimes this influence encourages ego inflation and excessive pride. Be careful not to act in an overbearing manner, for you will set people in motion who will try to knock you down a peg or two. Here too, you must know where to stop.
