ordered from Astrodienst as a bound report of about 15 - 20 pages.
In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important transits over your natal chart
are considered. It is likely however that some important transits of this six month period
have been omitted in this abbreviated report.
If you are interested in the full pattern of relevant themes, please order the full version of
this report. Your best choice of report will be Liz Greene's Yearly Horoscope Analysis or
Robert Hand's Transits of the Year. These reports will select the really relevant themes of a
12-month period for you, and deal with them in depth and style.
The report was generated for 6 months starting from the 1st of December 2015 with the
following birth data: male, born on 14 November 1932 at 11:05 am in Columbus, Ohio.
Your sun sign is Scorpio. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your
Ascendant is in Capricorn, and your Moon is in Gemini.
Neptune opposition Neptune: Blurred categories
Mid-April 2015 until beginning of February 2017: This is a time in your life when the old
categories of living and experience cease to have any real meaning for you. Your
consciousness will be heightened, although your initial feeling is likely to be one of
confusion. But you will be able to learn the lessons of this period only if you are willing
to be patient and allow the universe to reveal what it has to show you.
The general effect will be a blurring of categories, an ability to see relationships among
things that you were never aware of before. You will have a better understanding of the
inherent unity of all existence, which will be reflected in a greater empathy between you and
others, an ability to put yourself in another person's place. You will learn many things,
even after a full life of learning everything that you thought you could. And you will be in
a position to teach others as well.
But these developments will come about only if you are willing to let go of old ideas.
Otherwise this will be a time of confusion and defeat, when you feel that you must withdraw
into yourself. This inner drive to withdraw is likely to be manifested as a need for some
sort of hospitalization. Or you may choose to withdraw as a sign of completion rather than
defeat, in which case this influence signifies that you will begin to find peace and respite.
At your age, this influence should not hold the horrors that it sometimes holds for younger
people, unless you have become fearfully rigid.
Uranus conjunction Uranus: The next step
End of May 2015 until beginning of February 2017: When this influence occurs when you are
eighty-four, it signifies the closing of an entire life cycle, with very positive results.
The effect of this influence is to free you from being so involved in the kinds of mundane
concerns that have dominated your life thus far - paying bills and taxes, making appointments
and such. This influence signifies changes that allow you to put your entire life in
perspective and to relate it to eternity in some way.
Your perspective is vastly increased, and you know now that this world is not all there is,
which in turn causes you to alter your sense of what is really important. Life is sweet, but
you also understand that there is something beyond. You can enjoy life for what it is and yet
not be so attached to it that you fall prey to its little illusions and snares. This
influence confers the highest degree of wisdom and serves to prepare you for the next step in
Jupiter conjunction Jupiter: Wonderful opportunities
Beginning of November 2015 until mid-July 2016: This influence indicates the beginning of a
new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations.
You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful
opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people
should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.
Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you
to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this
time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the
same time you are willing to give more to the world.
This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you
are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of
conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life
from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing. This influence
represents a time when you should see whether you are doing that in your life.
Concretely, you can expect persons who are good for you to come into your life. Or
circumstances will arise that give you increased freedom or an opportunity to do something
that you have never done before. Educational opportunities may come to you at this time, or a
chance to travel. Sometimes this influence does in fact bring about financial advantage, but
you should not sit around passively waiting for it to happen. This is an excellent time to
invest or expand in business as long as you are very careful not to overdo it or overextend
Saturn opposition Moon: An emotional trial
A transit approaching its end, from 17 November 2015, remaining until 4 December 2015: This is
one of the most emotionally trying influences. It is frequently associated with domestic or
professional problems, emotional depression, loneliness, difficulties with women or
difficulties with personal relationships, often leading to breakups.
This influence represents an "alienation crisis," that is, a crisis brought about by the
discovery that you have been neglecting your emotional and psychological needs. As a result
you feel alone and disconnected from others, like an alien in the world whom no one else can
ever adequately understand.
To a greater or lesser extent, everyone's life revolves around an overall task or purpose that
makes one's life unique. The purpose may be a job, motherhood, fatherhood, some movement that
you believe in or anything else that gives you a sense of purpose. Often an alienation crisis
occurs when you discover that you have gone too far too fast in pursuit of your life purpose
and have neglected your psychological and emotional needs. Perhaps you have neglected your
relationships or your domestic life, or you have repressed your feelings. In this way you
build up a wall between yourself and others, which makes you feel alone and alienated.
You must make your personal life and your public role or other central purpose work together.
That will require changing your lifestyle so that you can pay equal attention to both.
Jupiter sextile Sun: Growth and optimism
Beginning of December 2015 until beginning of August 2016: This is a time when life seems to
flow very easily. With little effort, you are able to move in the direction that you intend,
and even your ideals seem to be within reach of fulfillment. It is a period of growth,
optimism and taking it easy. In many respects this is a good time to sit back and take a long
look at how well your life is working out.
Because you feel vigorous and energetic, this is an excellent time to advance your interests
in almost any area, although that impetus may be lacking.
Relationships with others are usually quite good now, and you enjoy being with friends. This
influence often indicates good times, as your enthusiasm for life bubbles over and affects
everyone around you.
This is also a good time for making plans, for you are inclined to "think big," which is a
general function of your optimism. While you can overdo this tendency, you will probably be
alert to opportunities that you would normally overlook or be afraid to take.
You feel generous and tolerant, and not easily bothered when something goes wrong in your
world. You recognize that there is plenty of time to correct the problem, so you don't get
upset. You aren't annoyed by persons who usually irritate you, and you may even feel like
patching up relationships that have gone bad or become difficult.
Saturn square Neptune: Keep it simple
Mid-December 2015 until end of September 2016: This influence signifies a time of great
uncertainty and possible confusion. Your objectives are unclear, and you may feel incapable
of coping with even the ordinary details of your everyday life. One of the best ways to cope
with this influence is to make your everyday life as simple as possible, because you are so
easily overwhelmed at this time.
This is not a time of robust confidence. You are questioning almost every aspect of your
life, particularly your goals and ambitions, your ability to attain them and even whether you
are worthy of attaining them.
At the same time you may feel that your universe is constructed in such a way that you cannot
ever live up to your ideals. Disappointment, discouragement and pessimism are all likely
effects of this influence. The danger is that this kind of negative thinking may actually
undermine your effectiveness in your work or other important activities. Feeling insecure
often creates circumstances in which you really are insecure. Do not take things so
seriously! Your negative state of mind is probably not justified by the facts of your life.
This is just one of those times when your spirits seem to sag.
You should try to hang on without making any permanent decisions or commitments on the basis
of your current pessimistic views. In a short time, you will understand that right now your
view of reality is changing in a way that ultimately should be very constructive, although it
does not seem so now. About two years from now, you will be able to make constructive changes
in your life based upon your new understanding. This is probably not the best time to make
