End of January 2012 until beginning of December 2013: This is a time of great change in your life, when you will strive as never before to accomplish your ambitions. You will work harder than ever and not allow obstacles to prevent you from achieving your objectives. If you handle the energies of this influence skillfully, you should be able to go far with it, but you should be aware of certain pitfalls.

During this time you can work to remove old outworn structures in your own life and in the lives of those around you, so that all of you can experience a new life. But you must observe two limitations. First, this influence gives tremendous drive and energy, but only for the elimination of the truly old and outworn, not for doing anything you want. And second, it is a transcendental influence. Therefore its energies are not easily harnessed to the purposes of unenlightened egotism. What you do with this influence should be for the eventual betterment of everyone around you, not just yourself. You are the steward of this energy, not the owner. If you use it for purely selfish ends, you will provoke such furious opposition that you will eventually be unable to do anything. Similarly, if you use this energy to remove structures that are not yet ready to pass away, you will be unable to make progress. This influence signifies the need to replace an old, inferior state of being with a new and truly superior state. It does not just arbitrarily replace one with another.

The last point to remember is that you must do something now. You cannot simply sit back and let this time go by without making some changes. Neptune opposition Neptune: Blurred categories

Mid-April 2013 until beginning of February 2015: This is a time in your life when the old categories of living and experience cease to have any real meaning for you. Your consciousness will be heightened, although your initial feeling is likely to be one of confusion. But you will be able to learn the lessons of this period only if you are willing to be patient and allow the universe to reveal what it has to show you.

The general effect will be a blurring of categories, an ability to see relationships among things that you were never aware of before. You will have a better understanding of the inherent unity of all existence, which will be reflected in a greater empathy between you and others, an ability to put yourself in another person's place. You will learn many things, even after a full life of learning everything that you thought you could. And you will be in a position to teach others as well.

But these developments will come about only if you are willing to let go of old ideas. Otherwise this will be a time of confusion and defeat, when you feel that you must withdraw into yourself. This inner drive to withdraw is likely to be manifested as a need for some sort of hospitalization. Or you may choose to withdraw as a sign of completion rather than defeat, in which case this influence signifies that you will begin to find peace and respite. At your age, this influence should not hold the horrors that it sometimes holds for younger people, unless you have become fearfully rigid.

Uranus conjunction Uranus: The next step

Beginning of May 2013 until beginning of April 2014: When this influence occurs when you are eighty-four, it signifies the closing of an entire life cycle, with very positive results. The effect of this influence is to free you from being so involved in the kinds of mundane concerns that have dominated your life thus far - paying bills and taxes, making appointments and such. This influence signifies changes that allow you to put your entire life in perspective and to relate it to eternity in some way.

Your perspective is vastly increased, and you know now that this world is not all there is, which in turn causes you to alter your sense of what is really important. Life is sweet, but you also understand that there is something beyond. You can enjoy life for what it is and yet not be so attached to it that you fall prey to its little illusions and snares. This influence confers the highest degree of wisdom and serves to prepare you for the next step in your evolution.

Jupiter opposition Sun: A turning point

From 2 August 2013 until 12 August 2013: This can be and usually is a very positive time. But you can make more or less out of it, depending upon how you handle it. In most ways it represents a period of culmination in your life, and you will be tempted to expand beyond any reasonable limit. There is no question that you have a good chance for success in any one of a number of endeavors at this time and, within reason, you should pursue them. However, you should not restrict yourself solely to material and physical growth now. Even if you don't have all the material goods that you want, you should turn your attention to spiritual and inner needs. Ultimately, nothing satisfies like satisfaction. Objects that you acquire, possessions, money, and even social prestige are merely devices to make you feel that you have satisfaction. They are not the state of satisfaction itself. It is your inner difficulties that make your life less than it could be, even if you have corresponding problems in the material world. You must look for the solutions within yourself, and this time represents a turning point, where you should begin to look for the answers.

Under this influence, the tendency is to go after everything that you want in the material world without caring especially about whoever is in your way, to gather as much stuff as you can and indulge yourself in what you want. Then, as the influence subsides, you may feel that this effort has failed, leaving your life as empty as it was before.

Do not be arrogant toward others or assume that you have everything right. Through meaningful encounters with others, especially intimate one-to-one encounters, you can find out which way you should go at this time. Work with another person and think in terms of mutual growth. Jupiter opposition Saturn: Danger of misjudgment

End of August 2013 until end of April 2014: With this influence it is very difficult to know exactly which direction the trends in your life are taking. Thus you must be extremely careful in your guesses, because of the danger of misjudgment.

Decisions in general are difficult during this time because you are caught in a conflict between caution and optimism. Whenever one attitude gets the upper hand in your mind, the other comes along and undermines it. Often it seems very difficult to know whether to expand or retrench. This problem will be especially bad if you have overextended yourself in the past and had to cut back. This creates a lack of self-confidence, which may surface now.

You may also experience a conflict at this time between the desire for greater freedom and opportunity and the desire to hold on to the safe and predictable circumstances that you are used to. Often the temptation is to break away from everything and start over without the weight of the past holding you back, so you think. The restlessness resulting from this conflict can cause you to make many significant changes in your life. Relationships are also frequently difficult, especially those that involve much responsibility. Casual relationships and friendships are less likely to suffer.

However, if you are basically satisfied with your life and you don't feel that your duties and obligations are onerous, you should experience the positive side of this influence, which is actually quite considerable. This is a time when you can expand the structures in your life to include much more than ever before.

Beginning of September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This influence indicates the beginning of a new cycle of growth and progress. However, it is often the focus of exaggerated expectations. You may expect sudden windfalls, great wealth or luck, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities. And these things do happen sometimes with this influence, but most people should expect more subtle, but equally useful effects.

Events now, such as meetings with persons or even changes in your psyche, open the way for you to become wiser and more mature and to have a broader understanding of the world. At this time you will reach out consciously and unconsciously and ask more of the world, but at the same time you are willing to give more to the world.

This influence can make you feel either more demanding or more giving toward others, but you are not likely to get much out of it if you think only of what you can get. The law of conservation of energy in the universe says that you can transform the energies in your life from one form to another, but you cannot create them out of nothing. This influence represents a time when you should see whether you are doing that in your life.

Concretely, you can expect persons who are good for you to come into your life. Or circumstances will arise that give you increased freedom or an opportunity to do something that you have never done before. Educational opportunities may come to you at this time, or a chance to travel.
