Beginning of February 2012 until mid-December 2013: In many respects this will be an educational time in your life. Your ideas and opinions on many issues may change radically from what they have been in the past. Or you may become involved in persuading others to adopt your views. In either case, all thought, communication and exchange with others will take on great significance and intensity.

Your concern for the truth is deepened during this time. You want to get to the bottom of any issue that concerns you, letting nothing stand in your way. Obviously this is a good time for any kind of research or investigation, particularly if you are investigating something hidden or secret. Your perception is sharpened so that you can see the facts more clearly and take advantage of your knowledge.

Once you have thoroughly researched your position on any matter, you can tell others what you have learned. As mentioned above, this influence gives you the power to persuade people and sway them to your point of view. However, if you try to convince people from a narrow egotistical position, not because of a real concern with truth, you will provoke opposition to your ideas, which could defeat you.

Even if you do not try to coerce others with your ideas, others may try to do so with you. Again you have to recognize whether their motives are egotistical or whether they really want to help you learn. Listen to those who want to help you, because they can show you much. The former type will force you to reexamine your own thinking and see where it is weak, but do not automatically surrender to someone else's ideas. Merely question your own.

Beginning of March 2012 until mid-October 2014: This influence is likely to have a great effect upon your relationships and your sex life. If you have no current sexual relationships, this period could bring you one that is quite intense but not necessarily smooth. You may become quite obsessed by a particular other person. This influence could be described as love's power, with the emphasis on "power." Any relationship that begins during this time is not going to be lukewarm. You will either be entirely involved or not at all.

Under this influence you see love not as part of everyday life, but as an experience that can transcend that reality and transform your life completely. Obviously this is a very tall order to fill, but you may very well succeed now. However, the drives that bring about a relationship under this influence are compulsive and not very rational. Unconscious patterns may play a much larger role in who you choose than your sense of what you need in a partner. If you are not careful you may fall for someone who is extremely difficult to get along with, which is precisely why you are attracted to that person. You almost seem to need the experience of a struggle in a relationship at this time. But you may end up in a situation in which you can't live with your partner and can't live without her. Fascination with someone who is not very good for you is a great danger with this influence.

However, this effect is not inevitable by any means. A perfectly decent relationship is possible under this influence. The problem is that mainly you are looking for an intense experience, not necessarily a good one. If it happens to be good, it will also be intense, so this influence can signify a very important relationship in your life.

Existing relationships will also be intensified by this influence because your needs are heightened, and you require gratification more urgently. An existing relationship that cannot satisfy your needs may not survive. Certainly the basis of your relationships will change considerably during this time.

Jupiter conjunction Descendant: Mutual growth

From 14 July 2013 until 23 July 2013: During this period you seek to grow in various ways through your closest contacts with other people. You try to create relationships that will further your life, not in a spirit of selfishness, but in a desire for mutual growth. Often at this time a person will come into your life who offers to help you out in some way, usually through a partnership.

In business, for example, this is an extremely good time to enter into a partnership or a contract with someone. In your personal life, you will work more closely than usual with someone, which will work out very well for you both. If other indications are compatible, you may meet someone who will be important to you romantically, but that is not the usual result of this influence.

This is also an excellent time to seek out someone for counseling, especially a lawyer, but also any other kind of counselor. Related to this, incidentally, is that if you have a case in court at this time, it will work out as you want it to.

A marriage or intimate relationship should work better than usual now. You and your partner will be anxious to help each other grow and to further each other's interests in all possible ways. You do not want to restrict your partner or be restricted by her in any possible way. Because you understand the need for freedom of individual self-expression within your relationship, you will try to find ways to bring that about. If your relationship is not working out very well in general, this influence can have either of two effects. It can either bring a time of healing in the relationship so that it ceases to be such a problem, or it can make your desire for freedom so strong that you break off the relationship altogether. At any rate, the problems themselves will cease. And a relationship that does break up under this influence (this only applies to one that is on the rocks) will do so relatively amicably.

Beginning of August 2013 until mid-March 2014: This is a time of very big plans and the culmination of many ideas that you have had in the past. It is possible now to make your ideas become reality, as long as you avoid certain pitfalls. In this case the primary problem is to avoid thinking too big or attempting something that is totally grandiose and impractical.

If you can keep track of all of the details that go into a well-thought-out business deal, this is an excellent time to sign contracts or to conclude any kind of commercial transaction, but it is very important not to overlook any details that might affect the outcome. This influence enables you to see the overall patterns in anything and to plan with foresight and wisdom. But if you are not careful, it can also lead to sloppy thinking or planning. It is best to work with someone else who can check over your work or plans and call your attention to anything that you have overlooked.

Projects or plans that began up to six years ago may come to fruition now, but only if you have been careful about details as described above. At any rate, events now will make it clear whether these ideas were based on reality or on pipe dreams. Work out everything in detail and leave as little as possible to chance; this will help you immensely.

Although recognizing the truth of any matter is important to you now, you must deal with others tactfully. There is a danger of alienating people by being self-righteous or arrogant in telling them about your ideas. It is extremely important that the breadth of vision conferred by this influence be accompanied by tolerance and generosity. Usually it is, but sometimes people react in the negative way just described.

You could get confused, not because the situation is undefined or vague but because the scale of events is too large for you to grasp. Beginning of August 2013 until end of March 2014: This is usually a very pleasant influence, indicating harmony in relationships and perhaps even a new relationship that will be of great significance in your life. You want love very much, and you are able to give it to those around you.

This influence encourages a taste for the lavish and beautiful, and you are not likely to let much stand in the way of what you want. Therefore you must be careful not to waste valuable resources and squander money. Beginning of September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort - growth in consciousness, in your profession, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important.

But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change.

This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel.

Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now, and this is a good time to expand your business, as long as it is within reason. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly.
