Beginning of March 2013 until end of December 2014: This influence is a chance to examine your life and to see within it the seeds for something greater than you have imagined. This greatness is not in the material realm, nor will it give you power over others. Instead your opportunity is to see your life in a spiritual dimension that you have never before perceived. This can manifest itself in a number of ways.

First of all, you may discover an increased empathy for the people in your everyday life. You can put yourself into another's place in a way that you have never been able to do before; you can see and, more importantly, feel what someone else feels. Consequently you will have more sympathy and compassion for other people's problems.

Your compassion springs from a realization of the essential unity of yourself and all being. For most people, this is not an entirely conscious realization. You may feel an increased involvement with others, but you don't quite know where it has come from. On the other hand, this can be a conscious feeling, in which case you may become more attracted to mystical philosophies and metaphysics, which try to verbalize what you are beginning to experience. Jupiter conjunction Sun: Exuberant optimism

From 21 June 2013 until 30 June 2013: Traditionally this is considered one of the most marvelous influences, and indeed it is quite good. At the very least, you will feel good at this time. Your health is good, and you feel very optimistic. For a while it may seem that everything is working out perfectly, and if you make an effort, it will. But if you simply sit back and enjoy this time, its beneficent influence will pass away with little to show for it afterward.

This is the beginning of a new twelve-year cycle of growth in your life. It is a time to initiate new projects and expand your activities so that you can experience life from a broader perspective. You may find that you can escape from some narrowing and inhibiting circumstance that has prevented you from realizing your full potential as a human being. Sometimes people travel under this configuration, but usually the traveling is more in the mind.

This is a good time to study a subject that raises your consciousness or expands your view of the world, and it is an excellent time for going back to school. You may also meet new people who expose you to aspects of life that you have never known before. Your freedom will certainly increase.

Even with this influence there are some pitfalls. First of all, your exuberant optimism can cause you to overdo or overreach yourself, so that when this time is over, you find yourself out on the proverbial limb. From 4 July 2013 until 13 July 2013: This is a time for expansion and growth in your innermost personal life, a time when you will seek security at home and with your immediate family. It may be necessary to reexamine your past life to find out what it can teach you about yourself. But this should not be a source of anxiety. In fact, you should feel quite good about what you learn at this time. Your parents may be able to assist you considerably in this process.

The symbolism of this influence is that you incorporate more and more of the outer world into your innermost life. On the material level, you may buy a larger, more elegant or more spacious home. Certainly it would be a good expression of this symbolism to improve your existing home and make it more comfortable.

At this time you should do everything to ensure that your personal life is as comfortable and secure as possible. You need to have a feeling of inner peace and security in order to continue to move out in the world. In fact you should not think so much about outward success now as about the more personal and inward needs that we have discussed here. And you should realize that your real need now is not land or a larger home, but a feeling of strength and inner growth.

Jupiter opposition Saturn: Danger of misjudgment

From 10 July 2013 until 19 July 2013: With this influence it is very difficult to know exactly which direction the trends in your life are taking. Thus you must be extremely careful in your guesses, because of the danger of misjudgment.

Decisions in general are difficult during this time because you are caught in a conflict between caution and optimism. Whenever one attitude gets the upper hand in your mind, the other comes along and undermines it. Often it seems very difficult to know whether to expand or retrench. This problem will be especially bad if you have overextended yourself in the past and had to cut back. This creates a lack of self-confidence, which may surface now.

You may also experience a conflict at this time between the desire for greater freedom and opportunity and the desire to hold on to the safe and predictable circumstances that you are used to. Often the temptation is to break away from everything and start over without the weight of the past holding you back, so you think. The restlessness resulting from this conflict can cause you to make many significant changes in your life, especially about your career. Relationships are also frequently difficult, especially those that involve much responsibility. Casual relationships and friendships are less likely to suffer.

However, if you are basically satisfied with your life and you don't feel that your duties and obligations are onerous, you should experience the positive side of this influence, which is actually quite considerable. Beginning of September 2013 until mid-May 2014: This is a time when feelings and emotions play an important part in your life, and relationships based on feelings and emotions become very important. This influence is usually experienced positively as warm feelings within yourself and from others. You feel emotionally very generous and giving. Relationships are usually quite good and rewarding now, and those that you have been building up for years may begin to produce results. You can now decide clearly which ones are worthwhile and which are not.

But there is a negative side to this influence also. It can make you feel very self-indulgent and undisciplined. You may feel that the world "owes me a living," whether or not you really deserve it. It may also make you feel that others ought to be breaking their back to help you. In personal relationships, you may become very demanding without really offering anything to your partner in return. Instead of reaching out to make things happen in your life, you wait for others to make the first move and become quite angry when people insist that you take some initiative.

Your love relationships and relations with women can be either very good or very bad, probably not anywhere in the middle. It all depends upon your general reaction to this influence. This reveals itself as foresight and long-range planning ability. This is a good time to map out your future, because you can understand and interrelate all the elements that will affect your life.

At the same time, you feel optimistic and proceed with the belief that everything will come out exactly as you want it to. And it probably will, because you don't get completely carried away with grandiose thinking. This influence usually indicates a good balance between details and generality in your thinking, but there is also a tendency to deemphasize the details and not pay adequate attention to them. If you are not careful, this can result in sloppy or hasty thinking. Be sure to slow down somewhat and do not get carried away with your plans. Otherwise, this is an excellent time to make decisions or to conclude any kind of transaction. It is a superb time to buy or sell, because you will almost certainly be satisfied with the deal.
